Oh my gosh I can't believe I haven't been back to this thread earlier! :gasp:

That new Ed and Winry piece is such an amazing work of art! It's so emotional and you're just so talented at what you do it's amazing! It's so heartbreaking and you've really captured that feeling!

I love how you did the smudge of blood on his hair and face. It's there but not too in your face that would turn you off. It's beautiful. XD

And OMG at Cloud and Aerith!!!

It is freakin' beautiful! It's so sweet and passionate and loving and just so damn amazing! Aerith's hair is gorgeous and the background is so soft and serene.

Well done again Mandi. You're so talented and I always enjoy your work!

I know it's been awhile since I've updated, all I have is a sketch for you right now. This is a commission for a friend of mine who's been wanting me to draw our OCs Lily and Celeste together. Lily is the one with the sword and my Celeste is the one with her handgun of course. She's a sharpshooter. Anywayzzzz...I'll color it eventually! :D *slopes back to working on AOTM*

From what I've seen with this picture and a few in the original post, I'd say you're a terrific artist! I'll admit that I have no idea who Lily and Celeste are, but the drawing is definitely excellent. Some of the colored ones I saw in the original post were awesome as well. You definitely have some talent there Aerith, keep up the good work!
 
Thank you so much guys! :D I'm so excited about this sketch and I can't WAIT to get to work on it, but it's gonna take me FOREVER to color it so don't expect it for at least a little while. LOL. Anyway I was browsing at my old art tonight and thought hmmm, I should do a little "My Art Throughout the Years" picture collage-type thing. So yeah, it's kind of embarrassing and kind of fun at the same time. :lew: Anyway, here you go!

Lol oh gosh, I just HAD to show Leilani the one of Serena. 10 minutes ago she keeps saying, "Mommy are we going to watch Sailor Moon now?!" (and she just said it now again when she saw it. She's addicted to it). So anyway, this is really good! I love it, especially the bottom-left one! Great job on this!

Oh wow. I really like the collage. I don't think any of it is actually bad but you can see definite improvement over the years. It kind of reminds me of when I went back and looked at my writing from years ago. xD

I love Lily's tattoo by the way. Very sexy!

Amazing detail and their poses look brilliant side by side like that!

I haven't seen all of your work from the past, but from what you posted in that little collage, it looks to me like you've always been a pro. =)

I especially love that Sailor Moon drawing! It makes me want to go watch the series again. XD

Keep up the awesome work!
 
Oh yeah, I can definitely see improvement. The coloring and shading improved a lot. I like that Tidus and Yuna one, the drawing itself and the coloring are superb! You say "Yes I know I sucked and maybe still do", thats definitely not the case, the old ones are still awesome. Nice work on the drawings and showing the improvement timeline!
 
That shows how you improved :gasp: I mean Tidus and Yuna color is really well done and you've drawn it quiet well.

You've definitely improved a lot, but from what I can see in your beginning work, you always were a fantastic artist. I bet deep down it's really nice to go through your past work and notice how much you've improved and the feeling you get knowing you can only get better. :)
 
Thanks so much for all the comments guys. I greatly appreciate them more than you know. :) I finally got a replacement pen for the one my dog destroyed so I was able to finish a commissioned piece today. This is for my friend Stephanie. It's our original characters together, Lily and Celeste. Lily is the redhead and my Celeste is in the white. Hope you guys enjoy it. ^_^

ahh where to start! Its absolutely stunning, the outfits on both characters are amazing, Im especially loving celestes outfit, the coat just looks fantastic, I love the hair on Lily, its such a nice colour, and as usual, the hair detail is spot on

the pattern in the background really sets it off, brilliant stuff

Lily looks gorgeous! Her hair colour is so rich and simply lovely and the tattoo on her lower back is beautiful! Sexy top too. XD Love the shine on the sword and the shading on her skin is wonderfully done!

Lovely work on the background too! It's simply gorgeous!

You've really outdone yourself with this one again Mandi. Keep up the beautiful work. =)
 
Wow, it's been over a MONTH since I've submitted anything. :gasp: I've been kinda busy though and I had to get a new scanner to boot. :grumpy: So anyway, in total FFVIII mode atm! :yay: And I sketched the famous scene of Squall carrying Rinoa piggyback.
