Mitsuki's Art

That special someone? One of the drawings from the very first page? That would be my husband. xD

And Sephiroth Brother...er, it's all about practice and picking up a few tips from people throughout the years. I haven't tried my hands at drawing anime characters in pencil for awhile now, so I'm sure my current style would be a bit different than these drawings here.

And here's the last few from years ago. As you can tell, I love drawing random guys. I don't know, I think they're more fun to draw than girls. =/

Kinda looks like Squall, eh? xD That's because I got the profile from his image, but changed the hairstyle. The body built's a bit off, but meh I can't be bothered to change it.

This one's charcoal pencil

This one's a bit odd, but I was experimenting.

This one is weird too.

Well um, because...I figured angry faces makes guys look really hot. I dunno. xD I just have a habit of drawing most of my characters with angry looks on their faces...same with girls, actually. o.o

Your paintings are all really amazing, I especially like the snowy house, and the reflection one, the use of colour in them is really good =)

If I knew more about art then I would go into more detail with the compliments xD

I like the drawings they look really great! In the first one it seems like the glasses are part of his face xD i dont know how to help ya with that but its still good. Possibly add rims on the glasses or some how make them pop out anyways. I like em all and just keep it up xD

Update!

Here's one that I started a few weeks ago. I kept having to make changes...at first it was actually supposed to have reflections, but then I changed the angle and made it into some sort of island beach...

Yeah some things might be a bit off. Not the best one I've done, and the quality of the video camera isn't helping. =/

*hey nice art works Mitsuki :)

*those scenery drawing are good, the people sketches are fine.you might wanna add more emphasis and outline your works and make it clearer for future drawings,i like the shading :)

*keep up the good work ok :) peace out!

Thanks for the advice, Simply...kit. =) Yeah, I noticed that about my drawings back then as well - that I don't emphasize enough. =/ I haven't made any sketches for awhile now. I've been concentrating more on paintings for some reason.

Speaking of which, I decided to do another one. I've done it before last year and gave the painting to my co-worker.

Here's the one I gave to her (some of you may remember this):

And this is the one I'm currently working on again.

It's a much bigger canvas this time. A 16 X 20. It'll be part of my surprise Valentine's gift for my husband, so I'm hoping to finish it by the 14th. I'm aiming for more realism this time around and hopefully quite different from my first painting. I figured that dark colors should emphasize more on the realism part. Anyway, again, this is not an original painting of mine. It's actually a picture that my husband or brother found on the internet and had saved it on our laptop.

I really like your anme pics of your bro & 'special someone'

That painting is brilliant thats something else I wish I could do but I suck with colour ><

xD That "special someone" is actually my husband. xD

Anyway, thanks guys! I added more stuff in my painting, but it's at work right now. (That's where I do most of the work - when the kids are taking their naps. xD)

I'll post an update this coming Friday. I'm really taking my time with this one. The first one that I did only took 2 or 3 days to complete...

Wow Suki that is really amazing! That painting is something that I would actually buy if I saw it, and could afford it!

I absolutely Love your Acrylic work the best artist I know can't draw things that detailed you don't even leave anything left out it's like you didn't miss a thing that's absolutely nuts.

Sucks you didn't win though, would have been awesome. You should do more it's really beautiful to look at o.o

~UPDATES~

Only five more days to finish this artwork! @_@ I'm almost done, I guess...just need to add the realism-touch-ups in the water, trees, backgrounds, house, reflections, etc.

Anyway, I'll update the finished work on Valentine's Day!

Looking really good! Have you ever tried selling anything at like an art fair or anything? Seriously I find it quite professional. Like I said before it's something even I would buy.

Nice painting work you have there Suki. I like the use of the vanishing point and it looks very professional. The background and the tree's look very realistic. Very well done and cant wait to see more.
