Multiple Platforms Mortal Kombat

Are you sure you aren't thinking about Mileena?

Jade isn't a mutant 8(

oh wait you are right .I thought Jade and Mileena were sisters but Katana is Jade's sister lol...how does Jade & Katana look behind their scarfs then?? :hmmm:

hmmmmmmm I liky very much :kinky: personally I think sheeva is hotter..she can pleasure me , massage me and make me a sandwich all at the same time HA!!!!! top that mr Seiji :mokken:

---

Anyways.

Are you getting the demo next week? Don't answer that, I know you are.

It kinda sucks that we can't create our own characters anymore :lew:

And I wonder how the Fatalities will work out.

most definitely getting tha demo. I never knew you could create own char in previous MK's :hmmm:
xray is thus irtime..and so far every char has at least 2 fatalities..

What I did always hate was for fatalities you had sick combo button smashing to do a freeking fatality

under ,up,left right square triangle r2d2 INSANE!!!!!!!!

Well, you could only create characters in Armageddon, but after that, they went and ruined the game and made MK vs DC

-- And yeah, the fatalities aren't hard to do once you memorize the sequence, like always.

But I'm most excited for the X-Ray finishers.

Same here I am getting the demo the first chance I get. Mileena is one of the playable characters so I am definitely going to have some fun. :ohoho: Scorpion and Sub-Zero are okay I'll probably play as them a bit but I am more of a Reptile fan and I've never cared for Johnny Cage much so I doubt I'll use him much. Still it gives me something to look forward to next week.

^ It looks very badass ! Thankyou Spawn ! :flower:

Yeah agree with this. They are almost fricken impossible to pull-off. I could never do it.
They are more harder to pull-off than those super-flashy moves in Street Fighter. Sigh, frustration.
:grumpy:

In addition to the vignette, NetherRealm Studios have just released a fourth environmental biography, this time focusing on the heavily revised Kahn’s Coliseum.

To entertain the denizens of Outworld—and remind them of his brutality—Shao Kahn presides over fighting exhibitions in this enormous Coliseum. The emperor’s throne is positioned at the very centre of the structure: the ideal vantage point from which to savour the blood and fear of the kombatants. For these tournaments are no mere sport. Enemies of the empire are routinely cast into the arena to fight for their very lives. The victors are celebrated; the victims have their remains scattered among the spectators, who show their displeasure by hurling the severed heads to the arena floor.
With another Fatality Friday over, stay on the lookout as we bring you news from the floor of PAX East.

A nice remake of the classic stage. Looks like it's not Kano and Sonya being held captive this time, it's Kitana and Tanya? That looked like her at least. Maybe it's implying that she will be playable at some point.

So who the hell is Tanya? I said in some previous posts I thought Kitana and Mileena were sisters and later on Jade and Kitana were sisters, but Kitana and Tanya are actually the sisters?

Man I got everything wrong about these hot women...:hmmm:

BTW: IS IT DEMO TIME TODAY?? :ohoho:

Tanya is a character who made her first appearance in MK4. She made a second appearance in MK: Deception as well.

And to answer your question, as far as we know Kitana doesn't have any biological sisters. Mileena is just a clone of Kitana and with the exception of her teeth she looks just like her. Jade is one of Kitana's friends. I'm not sure what Tanya and Kitana's relationship is exactly however I do know she's a traitor.

The reason they all look alike and wear the same outfit is because, with the exception of Mileena, they're from Edenia the same place Kitana is from. Mileena just wears the outfit to just look like Kitana. However by the time Deception came out Mileena, Jade, and Tanya all wear different outfits from what they wore in their first appearance. /end nerd rant

Nope no demo. At least not here. PSN doesn't update until tomorrow over here. :sad3:

EDIT: Dude, if you haven't done it yet download the demo. It is just as awesome as it was on the video trailers but even better looking. Seriously the amount of detail they put into this game is jaw dropping. Especially with the X-Ray attacks. They look so real that it is cringe worthy.

Eurogamer have this morning exclusively revealed another new gameplay trailer that focuses on the Thunder God Raiden. It looks as if he has retained the majority of his signature moves, with a few new ones added in for good measure. We also get our first proper look at the Courtyard arena, which looks nothing short of breathtaking for fans of the classic games.

Finally, while this is certainly not news to some, Australian gamers have been denied a chance to play Mortal Kombat (2011) with Warner Bros.’ appeal of the game’s original ban officially denied. Furthermore, it was revealed that Australian customs will be on the lookout for the game should gamers turn to importing, meaning getting your hands on a copy of the game will prove difficult.

Edit:

Certainly one of the most uniquely-clad warriors in the Mortal Kombat cosmos, Kabal was recently unveiled in an episode of GameTrailers TV.

Often considered as one of the most powerful kombatants on his debut in Mortal Kombat 3, Kabal was later toned down in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 to give his opponents a fighting chance. His initial appearance made many players think he was weak; this changed later when they realised how devastating his combos could be.

His latest iteration is nothing short of breathtaking, with his new design seeing his once smooth skin filled with horrible burns and scars. He also retains all of his signature moves, including his ground saw, purple projectile and paralysing dash. His hookswords, of course, remain his weapon of choice.

Kratos looks like he can be an interesting character to use. I can't say I am fond of the QTE showing up in some of his moves though.

Also are there any other characters that have yet to be revealed? I think that Kabal is the last one that has yet to be confirmed that has been in MK1-3 but I am not 100% sure. :hmmm:

I'm having mixed feelings about this game. I watched the Johnny Cage Vs. Scorpion gameplay and was not impressed. I didn't like Cage's character design. The tattoo of his name on his own chest? LAME.

But watching the Kratos gameplay makes the game look awesome. His move set so far seems to be the most impressive and fun.

I'm still not sure if I will buy it though.

Mortal Kombat tag team video shows ninjas versus cyborgs

NetherRealm’s released another Mortal Kombat video, this time showing off the game’s brutal tag-team versus mode.

In it, you will see Scorpion and Sub-Zero face off against Cyrax and Sektor and how the players can switch characters in mid-fight rather easily.
The game’s out next month on PS3 and 360.
Thanks, Thunderbolt1234.

TOTALLY AWESOME DUDE :mokken:

Wait, you mean to tell us that even though the game hasn't actually come out yet, you're already bored with the roster of fighters included in Mortal Kombat? How is that even possible? Regardless, you don't need to worry -- Netherrealm's Hans Lo recently revealed to CVG that two new kombatants are already in the works for post-launch DLC: Series regular Kenshi, and "Scarlet," a fully fleshed-out character based on a glitch in the old Mortal Kombat arcade machines, which turned Jade, Kitana and Milena blood red.

Lo explained, "People always thought it was a hidden unlockable character and it wasn't, it was purely a programming glitch." He added, "She's no longer a glitch - she's an actual character, and she'll be coming pretty soon post-launch." We wish other developers were this sentimental about their earlier mistakes -- maybe then we could finally get that Laddergoat game we've always dreamed of.
