I hated him. In every way. His looks, and how he was such a ladies man was a little funny but then just annoying and creepy. He was never funny, just awkward. I guess he was supposed to be in a way, but that just makes me hate him more.

Out of all the games I've played most definitely Seymour.

Eiko. She meets Zidane and decides to join the party to break the seal her ancestors made, thus breaking her promise to her deceased grandfather of not leaving her hometown yet...and ends up as a permanent playable character. Why? Because at six years old, she fell in love with a sixteen year old guy.

Sure, she states that she wanted to see the world, but that was second to her obsession with Zidane.
I used to get annoyed by Hope, but it's toned down after Chapter 7. Though I'm still finding it hard to move on from all the idiotic things he did and said. Vanille also, but only because of her voice actor.

Hope probably annoyed me the most. Not always, but usually he was complaining and just going on and on. He was acting like a wimp most of the time, and it just ticked me off that he couldn't man up a bit.

Definitly Yuffie... She steals you're materia, begs for tranquilizers, is obnoxious, stands infront of certain items so you cannot reach them until you come back for them (junon ship), and MIxes up your materia after you get it back..
Just annoying in all aspects.. I have no idea why the never kicked her out of the party..

Vanille is definitly my top pick for this, I actually liked FF 13 for what it was until she came along. She is the first character that actually has made me not want to play the game.
Tidus from FFX comes very close, as do Rikku from the same game.
I never cared much for Quina in FF IX either, but at least he/she doesnt have an annoying voice.
But nothing is worse than Vanille, she's like Rikku X 100

Amarant from IX....
He was just so useless, random, and completely out of nowhere. Unlike every other member of the party, Amarant had no real reason to be following Zidane on his journey. His 'backstory' was so fail, uninteresting, and not even a back story really. Most of the time he was just a negative nancy who liked saying crap to bring the party's spirit down. (Good thing the epic Freya was there or else I would've lost it xD). Also, his character design is so... wtf? I still have trouble telling what 'it' is.

A lot of Final Fantasy characters are annoying but I would have to say Barret from FFVII
He was so spazzy he almost has a rage in every cut scene he's always shouting and swearing he just doesn't shut up!
Tidus would come in a close second he's an awesome character but his voice and his actions annoy me.

FF VII - Yuffie. For stealing my bloody materia and being annoying! Aerith. For dying after I tried so hard to make her a good character, unforgivable!
FF VIII - Seifer. Thinks he's gods gift to everything. Fujin & Raijin. For being stupid enough to follow him. Irvine. For thinking he's a cowboy, and Selphie for being extraordinarily clumsy.
FF XIII - Lightning. Tries too hard to be a female Cloud Strife. Fooling no one. Vanille for... just being Vanille. Hope for being too girly, and serving no purpose to anything whatsoever. And lastly, Serah. For thinking she's a protagonist. How dare she.

I also can't stand Wakka. He's absolutely useless (just like Yuffie). I never used them in combat unless I absolutely had to, and they almost always let me down. Wakka is a stupid racist whose weapon is a stupid ball...

Yuffie from VII (for a lot of the same reasons as stated before, freken steals my stuff!); almost all characters from VIII (except Squall. If they're not annoying, they're boring); Quina, Eiko, and Amarant from IX (I swear, Quina is Lickitongue from Pokémon).

Ugh. This is why I loathe Crisis Core to death. Cloud was using the Buster Sword BEFORE SE made up the stupid plot of making it some symbolizing whatever to some nobody that was never in the FF 7 to begin with. Angeal was never in the OG game and there was no honor or pride of Solider crap. Soldiers and Shrina were dirty and apart of a corrupt company. There is no such thing honor, and Angeal is just added in, because Square Enix could do.
The Buster Sword is Cloud's sword that he got from Zack when he died. There is no Angeal is Cloud's mind, because he didn't know him, and he's not important in the original FF VII story.
Also Cloud is not a wuss, and it's not like he let Zack die on purpose. Cloud is a person who is not really strong physically. It doesn't make him any less of a person. Also he had to go through horrible events, like his village being burned down and massacred. Get completely mind- screwed by Sephiroth, and loose the only person expect Tifa who liked Cloud for who he really was, Zack . And then later Aeris/ Aerith. It says in TV Tropes that Cloud is so badly mind- raped by Sephiroth that he has to get mind- raping therapy in the Lifestream with Tifa, and it's true.
Zack died trying to save him, because he was injected with Jenova Cells, which causes Mako poisoning and turns you into a vegetable. Zack only made it through the injections by Hojo because he's super strong, any normal person like Cloud, would suffer terribly. Cloud was completely numb, and he was completely in a trance and he couldn't do a thing. He had to CRAWL to Zack's side when he was dieing, because he couldn't move because of the poisoning.
Why do you want to kill somebody who has been through so many horrific events ? Plus he's Zack's best friend, and you love and admire Zack right ? So why the hell would you want to kill somebody who Zack treasures ?
The Solider honor BS SE put in Crisis Core is just nonsense, and Cloud is not weak or feeble. He isn't as strong as Zack physically, but he did flipping try and be strong like him, he did try and join Solider and become the next Sephiroth.
Crisis Core needs to be put into fires, buried to be never found again, because all these new players like you, play Crisis Core first and get the wrong flipping idea about the whole FF7 story.

well...i just can't explain why i don't like cloud...i actually hate him...
and it's not because of crisis core
as you see..i played FFVII AFTER crisis core...and when i finished crisis core...i thought SWEET! zack truely became a hero and he will always be a hero inside of cloud,my most favorite FF character yet! but i don't know what happened to me when i was playing FFVII...but ...okay...my mind was raped as well by someone maybe by vimal..(who made me a FF freak) ...he always kept saying cloud sucks this and that...and stuffs...and so..i started to hate cloud X_Xas you see...i can prove to you that cloud used to be ma most favorite...before playing FFVII i also played dissidia ...and in dissidia...cloud is STILL my main character...i beat everyone's crap outta em by using cloud...i have a video of it in youtube as well...
and about crisis core...i think it made cloud even look better than last order you know >.>
