I think he'd go as a soldier. The uncapitalized kind. With the fatigues, the combat boots, the camouflage, the helmet and a plastic M-16. :3 It's punnylicious.

If not that, then I could totally see him going as Indiana Jones.

But if he's going as something he chose, maybe he'd go as Ash from Evil Dead/Army of Darkness or something like that. Or, I don't know why, but I just see Cloud dressed up like someone supposed to be John Wayne from True Grit. but just cuz Cloud's a "country" guy

Actually, Cloud dressing up like a hillbilly or a redneck could make for an incredibly excellent fanfic... :T

I have the perfect costume for Cloud: A viking. Complete with a bearskin cape and a horned hat and plate mail. I mean, come on. Just look at the guy in the entirety of his character. Blond. Blue eyes. From the mountains. Uses a giant sword. *cough zweihander cough* Been in the military for most of his life and is best as a warrior anyhow.

Oh yeah. He'd make a perfect viking, complete with a little foam axe. Unless, of course, he wanted to use his own sword to make the costume authentic....

Haha, his face is formed completely different than how it is in the rest of the film. His skin is the palest tone I've ever seen it. His lips are, like, this pale brown color, and his nose does not look like how it does other times in the film. His face looks... boney.

he usually looks more dark in skin tone (at least not THAT pale) 1. 2. And like I said, in that added scene his face looks really thin and boney.

It's just cuz it was added way after the original film, though. I bet they used a new face model for those scenes. but either way, anytime I see the updated look of his face I cringe.

Like I said, he looks sick or really young and seeing as Cloud is 20+ years old here; they should have stuck with the strong face he had before, it was nice and stern looking perfect for they broody Cloud -- he looked so western in the other parts of the movie.


It just looks like they completely remodeled Cloud's face; old Cloud looks mature/sexy, new Cloud looks adorable.

I think its the same 3d model. Its just not texture mapped or rendered with the same degree of realism. There are no shadows or gradients mapped on his face. Its all a monochromial flat tone as in original FF7?

It looks to me like he just threw on some biker pants and a tank and particularly prefers dark colors; in a way yeah he cares how he dresses; I don't think he'd dress in anything (Ex. frilly lace etc.)

His hair looks like a rats nest (a sexy rats nest), and he's been wearing the same clothes for years...I dunno he doesn't seem to care how he looks. He's an aloof guy as Nomura put it, he doesn't care about much.

I completely agree with all of the above. His hair is natural. And the man could careless with his pick of clothes. He lived on a dirty old sheet for a while, I can bet he doesn't care about how clean he or his clothes are.


But since Cloud's hair doesn't look like it takes any styling of his own doing... it makes me think about his momma.
