Nanaki: Silent, wise...Deadly! A Red XIII/Nanaki Fanclub

Oh, I vaguely remember a 'Dinne'. Was he in CC? ...Hm. I can't remember for the life of me where I heard that name. Regardless, that's very iteresting. How do you think he [Nanaki] found them?

@Mitsuki: I know no harm was really done by it, but I didn't want it to linger on until some weirdo posted something sick. :O There shouldn't even be that fear in any person's mind within this thread, that's why it bothers me...

@Feir Gravesend: I am not sure, but I'd like to find it out, I'd like to know for sure what game this was in, the only FFVII game I've played other than the original game, is Dirge of Cerberus, and only rented that long enough to get through it, I didn't like Cait Sith... >_< Lots of him, but only Nanaki for a few seconds during the ending, very disappointing.

@White_Nanaki: I've gotten through Final Fantasy VII multiple times, when does it hint at why Nanaki had cubs/babies at the end of it? Either I wasn't sharp enough to pick up on it, or I just can't remember... >_>

Where did you hear about this Dinne from? I've never heard of her...or any of these rituals :S

I know, I understand. You guys can always use the "report" button and we'll take care of it if necessary. But as it stands, it has to remain merged. Hope you guys understand.

O_O My club has become popular :gasp:

Welcome to the club, all :monster:

Well, apologies if the topic of "If Nanaki was homo..." offended people. I just thought it would be a change from a SERIOUS discussion, but alright.

Dinne is
perceived to be Nanaki's mate, and is apparently shown sometime during BC
. When, I don't know (I haven't played the game), but she was
supposed to be Nanaki's mate and the mother of his children
.

It is also shown that
Nanaki has had children at the VERY end of FFVII, when you go through ALL of the credits
. Rather long, but that's when it happens. It's also shown at the very beginning of FFVII: AC; in fact, it's the opening scene.

As for Nanaki having a wife named Dinne, I believe it states that in the cell phone game Before Crisis. It never does in Crisis Core because I've gone through the whole game more than once and not once is Nanaki in that game. (sadly) Just thought I'd clarify that.

Yes, I understand, Mitsuki...a second Nanaki fanclub would sooner become one with the already existent one, than stay intact and exist as a secondary, other Nanaki fanclub, I know it makes sense that there isn't two, but I just rather it were the other one that stayed standing, but hopefully we can just stay to more interesting topics in here like this current one...

I would like to look into finding out about this Dinne and those rituals, if I find anything out, I'll let you guys know here.

Edit: Ah, well...that's good to know. Didn't know all that was already known and such readily available information. XD

I didn't notice one of Nanaki's species either...I dunno...maybe I didn't pay enough attention, or, as Mandi said, it was probaly Before Crisis.

Dinne had to leave because of a ritual :monster: I believe it was one of those "Come of age" things.

Like Smeargle getting a paw print made on it's back? :P

Okay, that was random and off topic... Why aren't you Red XIII anymore, Throttle? Just curious...

..Smeargle...oh! That's a Pokemon, right? Dear god, those things are STILL popular :gasp:

But yeah, I suppose it's kind of like that. She needed to do some kind of purifying ritual and headed off into the wilderness. I'm not too educated on it, you'll have to ask White_Nanaki about it; he's the expert there :monster:

And yeah, I changed to Throttle. He's been my main fandom for a while now. I might change to Brome sometime soon, from Redwall, or maybe back to Felldoh, depending on how my fandoms go :monster:

Yeah, there was a part on that in that first pair of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, that's what "come of age" reminded me of, oddly... >.>

Well, you can use whatever username you want, don't expect me to change mine too much though, I stick to very few names, for pretty long periods of time, I've been here for nearly two months and haven't had one name change yet. :P

Speaking of name changes, I only relatively recently got to calling Red XIII by the name of Nanaki. I had just realized "You know, Red XIII...that's just the code name thing that mad scientist Hojo gave it, it's name is actually Nanaki, I should be calling it that."

i rember you or someone talking about dinne
i've never seen it myself
just remembering things from before :)

I tried looking to see if I could find anything out on Wikipedia, and I didn't see the mention any mentioning of Dinne or any rituals in Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII, thought it might have had at least a little something on it, since it is part of the game...

I think it was Nanaki who told us of the info
then it was Thottle and......that guy that begins with M (sorry i forgot your name :()
were discussing it i think

Clearly he had some 'destiny' as cliche as that sounds; what are the odds that the last one alive would assist in the defeat of Sephiroth, who was trying to destroy the planet with the Black Materia, and Jenova, who unless it has been too long (which is possible) devours planets, unless he were meant to? I didn't play Crisis Core or that spinoff with Vincent, but if he helped in either of those, it's further evidence toward his supreme outshining of his deceased equals.

He isn't the last, otherwise he wouldn't have children in the epilogue thingy after the credits. :randompoke:

heh ppl do hate FFVII

i don't
but 'm more a FFVIII
however, nothing can take me away from Nananki....and Selphei ^^

Kuba, myself, and Mantichorus :monster: Aye, we had a long discussion on Dinne and Nanaki. Too bad the site is down so we can't retrieve it -__-

TBQH, VII and IX are the only ones that I've ever played or really cared for. Never liked VIII (way too cliche, to me), and X and beyond were just...well, the franchise was getting a bit old.
