Nanaki: Silent, wise...Deadly! A Red XIII/Nanaki Fanclub

Indeed, it would be interesting to see what was said back then, there may even be some details you don't remember, we could perhaps relearn something that had been forgotten.

But it's not possible, so it's best to move on. I enjoy most of the Final Fantasy games, I've played VII, VIII, IX, X and XII, gotten through them all, and the only one I didn't really enjoy near as much was FFIX...

Final Fantasy VII will always be my favourite though, but I'm anxious to find out the exact release date for FFXIII, so that one of the projects keeping Square Enix staff will then be complete, and they'll be free to work on something else, I'm hoping when current Final Fantasy projects are finished, they may seriously think of starting the development of a FFVII remake for PS3.

See, now I hope they do that and I hope they don't. I hope they do because it would be a kick-ass remake. I hope the don't cuz they'll probably fuck Nanaki up so bad...I'll have to throw a brick at them and shitz :neomon:

Ah, nostalgia :monster: I remember when I first beat Sephiroth. Nanaki was the only one left standing after the final battle :monster:

I think the only thing they could do that'll mess up our dear Nanaki is if they give him some baaad voice acting :gasp:

I think his voice for AC was alright...If they stick with that, it'll do...

Believe me, they could do a lot worse. I've seen it >__>

On the bright side though, Nanaki could be played by somebody good this time. That Liam dude wasn't good; he sounded too old.

Yeah, it'd be nice to see a better voice actor for Nanaki in a FFVII remake, they could do better.

Btw, there was supposed to be some big Final Fantasy VII announcement on August 2nd or 3rd, has there been any announcement yet?

Probably not, if there was, I'm sure I would most likely find out about it pretty fast. :P

Can't believe I never saw this earlier. I consider Nanaki the smartest person ever in FF. Plus, he's a tiger, AND TIGERS ARE AWESOME. Nanaki would be my favorite character out of VII, and i'm sad that he had to carry Cait Sith around in AC. Hey are you accepting new members? If so I'd like to join.
NOTE: I only read the first page, so that's why i'm asking.

We always accept new members. You can't NOT accept new members, it'll lessen the amount of members you can bring in!

Words to live by :neomon:

I wouldn't say he's a tiger, so much, but he is definitely feline. Truth be told, I can't really say what they are. The name I gave their race was (as I'm sure White_Nanaki and ssbmaster will recall) the Mahj. Simple, to the point, and with a touch of mysticism and mystery that tends to be associated with Nanaki's species.

hmmm i'm going with your description then, as i like it more. i liked the voice actor they had for him, he had a deep voice, it made me think of a wise man, which Nanaki technically is. i found that i prefer to use other characters to fight but Nanaki is still my favorite.

what are you on about kind sir :)
heh, do you think nanaki ever wonders what life would be like if he wasn't the only one and his race was endangered?

You mean if the race WASN'T endangered?

Probably. He probably wonders if he could've met somebody besides Dinne, too :wacky:

But he's more along the lines of someone who won't dwell on it. Think about it for a while, yes, but dwell on it? Nah. The only reason he did so with Seto is because of the idea that Seto betrayed them, which was an erroneous assumption on his part.

And aye, Nanaki would always be in my Party. He's a veritable tank; he has high health (especially compared to someone like Cloud or Vincent), he had an awesome attack stat, amazing speed, and his endurance was probably second only to Barret's (whose attack and speed stats really weren't all that great).

I have to disagree.
I think Nanaki is as great mentaly as he is pysically, i would say Nanaki is pretty balanced out. I wouldn't sway him one way or another

Oh, I was simply referring to his in-game stats. Nanaki's an effing genius, and really wise for his 'age.' Very deep guy, he is.

Also, some of the most entertaining quotes in the game come from him when he's in your party during key points in the story :wacky: He attracts major lulz sometimes :monster:

Ok i'm going to ask a general question
does anyone use cheats and books and walkthroughs to find Nanaki's items and such?

No need, really. The majority of them are right out in the open.

You find his ultimate limit break in the safe containing the Odin materia, inside Shin-Ra Mansion at Nibelheim. To get his ultimate weapon, all you have to do is go back to Cosmo Canyon on the third disc. Simple, really
:monster:

Hey guys i have a question,
and it is Nanaki related but i'll start of by explain the question before i ask.
I've just been watching anime.
i love it
i donno why anime always gets to me
....you know...sometimes i watch it and wish it happend to me
but then when i picture me doing it....it doesn't feel right
its like pressed against a glass wall, seeing all the things but never expereincing it
heh
*huggles* it's special and unusual
sometimes i feel when i'm watching it that i want to be a part of it
help out and share the expereince
anime is what makes me believe and dream of fantasy. Not only that i always wish i met the guys, that i was there as me and meeting them and sharing they're experiences and helping out. Making the difference i guess. Or it's just that so saw something so beautiful happen in front of your very eyes.

BUT GUYS. IF YOU SAW NANAKI
WOULD YOU WANT TO SEE HIM OR BE HIM.

IF THERE WAS A CHANCE THAT THE UNKNOWN WOULD HAPPEN AND YOU HAD ONE SHOT TO BE WITH HIM IN HIS WORLD. HOW WOULD YOU SPEND IT. TO DO SOMETHING THAT PEOPLE EITHER DREAM OR JUST DON'T BELIEVE POSSIBLE.

What would you do?

I would not be him. He's his own person, and I wouldn't change that. I don't want to be like him, even if I admire some of his traits.

However, I would take the opportunity to go into his world and help out. A little far fetched, really; I don't think any portals will be opening any time soon. But, it would be great to just go there and fight alongside him. In real life, I'm no mean fighter (though nowhere near their standards), and it would be pretty good to just go and fight. Considering that I grew up in Toronto, blood and gore really isn't an issue with me, so there wouldn't be much stopping me from helping them out when I could.

But I could never replace Nanaki or any of them. They're just not me, and I wouldn't dream of trying to replace them.

As per anime, I'd like it to be real, but I don't think there's any way it could or ever will be. I've changed a lot of my ideals from when I first joined ACF, but most of them remain the same. I'm just a lot more of a realist, now. Maybe that means closing myself to abstract ideas, but I'm extremely open to anything, as long as it is logical and explained logically. Even my RP Characters, who teeter on the precipice of extreme fantasy, have logical explanations to their abilities (I even went out of my way to write a biology for Allsies, dammit!). I just have an issue with things that aren't logical, I guess.
