FFXIII-2 Plan to buy it?

XIII was awesome, my second fav Final Fantasy so of course I'm gonna buy XIII-2!
 
I am definately picking up a copy. I always find given the epic scope of any Final Fantasy games that I bond with the characters and their world, and would always grab the oppurtunity to go back with both hands.
 
I'll be getting it. The thing I'm not down with is Lightnings armour.
I liked 13 doesn't matter what anyone says about the game.

I just hope they put another way to gain skills in instead of crysterium.
 
I will buy it, just because i want Square to redeem themsealves. For me i fell knee deep into the hype for XIII and got the collectors edition. Played it none stop and completed everything but it just doesn't feel like the old games. You dont get rewarded for doing anything lol and the games just a straight line to the finish.

I want XIII-2 to be everything that we should of got the first time around. I want square to learn from their mistakes and make a game there proud of.

I pray that they can do that for us :) gotta think positive lol xxx
 
Can't really see myself not buying it, eventually anyway, even if I hold off for a bit to allow prices to drop a bit. I wouldn't miss out on it based on how fanbase reception of XIII was either. As far as I'm concerned, it was still a good game, and compared with 90% of games on the market nowadays, it was actually pretty good value for money, considering I couldn't blitz through it in 4 hours like half the games I buy. So I have no reason to think that XIII-2 wouldn't be worth time/money. If it ends up similar to XIII, it won't be FF's finest moment by any stretch of the imagination, though that's not all that big a deal in a series that is generally pretty solid comparative to competitors.
 
Im Realy surprised at how many people loved the game... my preferance of "Its FF ofcourse I will buy it~even though I thought XIII was not a good game " Is actually lower lol^^
 
Basically, when FF comes out with a new game, I will buy it.

But I gotta say I agree with glitterbunnie, please cut the crap and gimme Versus dammit!!! :rage:

I dunno, Versus doesn't really look good to me. How futuristic it is really doesn't appeal to me.
Anyway, I loved XIII, and XIII-2 looks spectacular. I would like to day one buy, but I don't exactly know if i'll be able to afford it.
I just hope Sazh is in it. ^_^
 
I thought FF13 was okay. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt great either. Just didnt feel like a true final fantasy. As for FF13-2, i do plan to buy it. In the hopes that maybe they will actually have some real towns and exploration.
 
Even though I'm not completely done with FFXIII, and only on the second disc, I am absolutely loving this game. It may lack a few qualities from previous FF games but it's still good none the less, the square enix team worked pretty hard on this one as the graphics are far more superior then it's predecessors, when I first played XII I was astounded by certain graphics but once I began to play FFXIII it blew my mind.

So when it comes to FXIII-2 yes I will definitely buy it, something just screams to me that it's going to be just as good.
 
Yeah, I enjoyed XIII and XIII-2 seems to be a big improvement, I am very interested in the storyline and setting too.
 
Since Final Fantasy X, I've bought all of them within a week of their releases. XIII-2 will be no different. Unlike many, I was very happy with XIII, it had the strongest character development, the best graphics, and one of the best battle systems in the entire series. I would rank it as one of my 3 favorites. XIII-2 seems a lot better than XIII in many aspects, something I didn't think would have happened. XIII-2 should easily be worth the $50 to $60 dollars.
 
Yea, currently re-playing FF13 and enjoying far more than I did the first round. Though, I wish SE would give all their resources and dedication towards FFv13 instead.

Oh well. :P Can't have it all!
 
Hell, I loved XIII (missin 1 achievement-_-...) and as some people previously stated its an FF so of course I'll buy it. I was kinda disappointed with the new trailers for XIII-2. Seems like another WTF storyline to me, but I could be wrong and actually like it.
Another thing which I REALLY didn't appreciate was that either no info on XIII's characters was included in the trailers or they're just not there! I mean there's a male Fang as lead now and apparently he'll develop some sort of relationship with Sarah?(Serah? Sara?) Snow was my favourite char! ;(
If Snow doesn't feature in this SE'll be hearin from me >.>...
 
I can't wait for the game I'm definately buying it, XIII is my second fav Final Fantasy! The only one thing that dissapointed me was not being able to go back to previous locations but in XIII they say there addressing that issue and adding more.
 
Instead of getting it I'd like to get the Verus or some old ones as remastered classics (doubt they will even make them), I was excited too much before playing Final Fantasy XIII and I've got so dissapointed that no matter what will be changed in its sequel i will still not buy it.
 
yes. despite having qualms about 13. I will give it a go, I read about how they are addressing the common complaints of the last game and making adjustments which is really great to see! how often does that happen with computer games these days! most big franchises couldn't care less once they've got your money (i'm looking at you EA!)

edit; I now have a copy of the game. will give my thoughts once i've got around to playing it.

No one has commented on this in a while so here goes............ This is a day-one buy for me because I really liked XIII but I hope the story is more epic in scale. Am I the only one who would love to see a "LOTR: Return of the King" massive war in a FF title? Possibly a great battle between Pulse and some secret other society. I would have enjoyed seeing a flashback of the War of Transgression in the first title but that's the only thing I would need to be my favourite RPG! LOL
