Pokémon: Ashes of Dreams [OOC]

If four people want to travel together, I don't mind, although that'd be the absolute maximum I'd allow. Just remember that the more people you travel with, the more difficult it gets to communicate, and the less you'll be able to post, unless you can all get on at the same time.
 
Rightio, i've decided to also make a trainer.

For human characters
Name: Seth
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Hometown: Ermine Town
Appearance: To make it short, he's the twin brother of Ashley, the 3rd Gym Leader, but with grey hair instead of dark blue.

Personality:Seth is quiet and reserved, thus gives off an unwanting aura, but in actual fact, he's just shy. He doesn't watch much television, nor does he go out much during the day, the only shows he watches are Prof Oaks talk shows, Seth idolizes Oak, and dreams of one day becoming his Assisstant at the Research Lab at pallet Town.

Bio: Seth has lived in Ermine town with his brother since he was a child, often helping with the household chores, and without speaking a word. After Ashley left on his journey, Seth became even more reclusive, to the point where the mail stacked up behind the door for months on end, because he was hibernating in his room.
After Ashley came back, Seth began to act more normally, especially when he heard news of that time of the year starting, when aspiring pokemon trainers gather to Amber Town, in order to claim their very first pokemon. Seth saw this chance to maybe try to understand why Ashley left on his journey, and to help understand himself in the process.

Brief history: Snivy is Seth's first pokemon. They both hit it off pretty quickly, as if understanding eachothers lonliness, thus, forming a great choice for Seth.

I would imagine Robert will be traveling with Jenn and whoever wants to join in.

I don't have a problem with it, but I think that I should travel alone at the beginning and catch up to you guys later.

It totally slipped my mind, but starting Saturday, I won't have access to the internet for almost a week. I don't want to hold you guys back.
 
If the character Seth is approved, then he can come along with Rena and Will, unless he wants to be a lone Rival type.
 
I'm going to be the 'I have to be better than my sibling' type of trainer, and i had a theory about the groups, well two, and both are to do with the types of the starter pokemon. . .

1. 3 people to a group, one with water, one with fire and one with grass (the three various typed pokemon

or

2. 3 people to a group, all three with either fire, water or Grass (same type pokemon)
 
I thought the groups were already made? :O

Anyways, my trainer is pretty much there to complete the gym challenge. She's going to do it with 'cute' pokemon because thats what she's into, she's also very unsure and I can see her failing often haha.
 
well, if the groups are already decided, then forget my ideas, they were just theories on ways to train pokemon / Travel.

and i intend on sticking with duel typed pokemon (houndour/houndoom as my fire type as it is a Dark / Fire type

I plan to make a well-balanced team. My first pokemon is the fire type that'll deal with any grass or ice types. The next one to get is a grass-type, for water-types and rock types. After that, it shall be psychic, fighting, and then the Dragonite from my big bro.

X3 I got this all planned. And I don't think the groups'll be permanent. They will change from time to time as the RP goes, I bet.
 
I'll probably approach my pokemon catching as I would if I were playing one of the games. That means my next pokemon will probably be a flying type, like Pidgey or any of the newer generation ones.
 
haha I am just going to catch a pokemon if I find one that I like in an area.
I'm sure I'll eventually find an acceptable team :D

If i was to RP like that i'd be spending months in just the first area! lol.

Id really like a Purrloin as soon as possible, I tend to like 4 legged pokemon that look slender =3
