Nintendo Pokémon Black and White

It's also set for a Fall launch in the US, according to the official Pokemon website.
 
First Pokémon Black and White 2 trailer is snooze worthy

Pokémon Black and White 2 is going to sell like hotcakes so it doesn’t really matter that this first teaser trailer is coma-inducing dull.

Dramatic sound effects! Minimal animation! Assets we’ve already seen! This trailer has it all.

Pokémon Black and White 2 is due in northern autumn. The DS title will be playable on 3DS through backwards compatibility, but it’s not the 3DS Pokémon Gray we expected.

I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I honestly think that Nintendo needs to retire Pokemon. You know you're running out of ideas when you make a trashcan Pokemon. It's just not the same anymore. The games were never that grand in the first place, but they certainly aren't now with the Pokemon that are being shipped out. Maybe they need to go back to the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn Pokemon...:hmmm:

Nope nope nope nope nope. I respect your opinion, but that's what it is. A lot of people love Pokemon, and to us, it's a great series. The people that hate on every new Pokemon and say "those aren't Pokemon" 1) don't know what a Pokemon really is and 2) aren't really fans at all. Fans like this are trying to hold the series back instead of push it forward.

FYI, I'm a huge fan of Pokemon, but for what it's worth, I think the series is running itself into the ground. It's just getting ridiculous. i support the series 110%, and want it to strive, but when they are releasing crappy stuff and it's apparent that they're running out of ideas, then that's when they need to let the series rest instead of making new ones and make more with the Pokemon they already have. We don't need like...600 Pokemon. It's a bit ridiculous.
 
The people that say we don't need more Pokemon would be the ones saying "we should get some more Pokemon" if they didn't. Just sayin'. The series would be boring if they didn't add more new Pokemon to discover. Pokemon are kind of like real life animals, yet you don't hear anyone saying "damn scientists stop discovering more of these things." Black and White currently have the best in game storylines so far. Playing Soul Silver, the Team Rocket backstory is really small, short, and incredibly unimportant, while the Team Galactic and Plasma threats from DPP and BW have a much bigger importance and are worth playing through the game for. The series isn't digging itself into the ground if it sells and people still enjoy it. I know it's your opinion, but your opinion goes against what is fact. If the series didn't do well or sell, they'd stop making games for it. Similar to how Call of Duty still sells, regardless of its lack of innovation (innovation that Pokemon actually has). I've been playing Pokemon since the originals, and it's still great. This is my opinion, as well as many others.
 
Meloetta revealed as newest Pokemon for Black and White 2

Nintendo has announced the latest Pokemon as Meloetta, a genderless Melody Pokemon which will appear in the next Pokemon movie. This is the third Pokemon to be announced for Black 2 and White 2 after Keldeo, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem which brings the total number of Pokemon to 648 entries. Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 are set for a fall release in the US and Europe after being announced over the weekend after first teasing it on Pokemon Smash. Thanks, D’toid.

Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect are pretty much old news, unless people have been living under rocks, lol. They've just not been announced in the US until recently and have yet to have an event for catching them.
 
Pokémon Black and White 2 introduces new characters, hometown

The first direct sequel in the Pokémon series continues the franchise’s tradition of all new content.

As revealed in Coro Coro Comics this wek, Andriasang reports Pokémon Black and White 2 will once more take place in the Isshu region, but this time, in the southern districts.

Players begin in a town called Hiougi City, which has a number of attractions – a scenic viewing spot with views of the surrounding urban landscape, a Pokemon Center, a trainer’s school, and the player character’s home.

You can once again choose between a male and female trainer, with both having a sportier appearance. A childhood friend looks set to be a recurring antagonist, as the magazine calls them “Rival”, and a mysterious figure called Akuroma appears, conducting research on Pokémon.

Two gym leaders were detailed – Homika favours poison types while Shizui prefers water.

Pokémon Black and White 2 releases for DS in Japan on June 23 but has not yet been dated for the west beyond a northern autumn window.

I'm really liking the fact that Unova is half frozen over and people have had to relocate to the south eastern parts of it. It could make for some really nice story elements. The new protagonists look good, but the male's hat is kind of awkward :wacky: Can't wait for this :grin:
 
i can't wait for this. I am a pokemon lover to the core, although i would of rather seen this being a 3DS game i will be happy with this. I also don't have a huge problem with pokemon essentially still being the same but i wouldn't mind a change. lets drop top view and go full 3D.
 
Nintendo has just released the first trailer for the game, it in japanese and shows in more detail what was in the magazine last week

3DS apps for Pokemon Black & White 2 announced, new trailer released

During Nintendo Direct, the firm announced apps for Pokemon Black & White 2 will be released. One of these is the AR Searcher which allows you to “shoot” or capture Pokemon which can then be carried over into the game. While the DS game is backwards compatible with 3DS, another app being released is a follow-up to Pokédex 3D (thanks, NintendoLife and will allow 3DS owners to have the full 3DS experience with the title. I'm getting more sold to the idea of the sequels, it'll be different. And I'm curious as to how they've progressed the story, even though it's weird just how many 'scientific' projects they use on Pokemon to get genetic copies.
 
just had a quyick play with black and white 2, sooo far it looks amazing

and god mother fucking dam it their remixed hoenn trainer battle theme :ohoho:

 
Been playing White 2 a little bit. It's pretty good, but Cheren was a pain in the ass. Spams work up and then one hits everything. Also Azurril is the weakest thing ever and if it weren't for Azumarill being great I would get rid of it.
 
i'm on the forth badge atm, pretty good game from what I played sooo far :) super looking forward to the world championship feature, all that remixed music and facing red is just calling my name :ohoho:

it out in japan..... it like all pokemon :lew: butit pretty good from what I played soo far
