[Real RP!] - Have Party, Will Travel

Cerden could say that Ryan had one twisted mind, but he found the form of torture he’s putting Aaron through just right out hilarious.

If Cerden was getting a crack out of Aaron’s torture moments, then what happened to the Watermage was going to flat out have him roll on the floor laughing his ass off. Some kind of iron ball came out of nowhere when Seth stepped on the wrong step, and it pretty much squashed him like heavy foot on cracked egg. And what made this a real class act, was that Seth’s gem(the thing that made his body a physicality) was all the way on the ceiling. And from then on, Cerden couldn’t hold it in. He just came out and laughed loudly.

“HAHAHAHAHA! OH MY GOD!” He shouted as he fell down to his knees just slapping the hell out of the ground, “Hey hey hey, waterman! Can you give me a hand?” Cerden’s jokes were never all that funny, but that didn’t stop him from being a complete ass. The situation was just too rich and perfect to not make the jokes.

After a good half a minute of laughing, Cerden regained his more-or-less calm composure, and he veered himself over to Ryan. He still had a little amount of chuckles still in him.

During the time he took going to Ryan, Aaron got the gem that was on the ceiling out and Waterman regained his physical self back. “So, is it safe to say that Mr. Lucky is going to be the one who activates all the booby-traps?” Cerden asked, leaned to the right and quietly whispering into Ryan’s ear.

Ryan grinned widely at Raz's shower joke and laughed while catching Seth after Aaron dislodged him from the ceiling.

"Ahahaha, good one Raz!" he said to her with a grin and dropped his arm on Ty's shoulders, giving him an unashamed, friendly scruff. "Come on you mirthless canine, laugh a little. We beat a freaking demon and we're about to loot his treasury. At least pretend you're happy," he added with a scoff, dropping Seth's jewel in a puddle of the water left after his smush.

"Pull yourself together Seth, we're nearly there," he said with a grin, savoring the lovely pun.

As they continued down the hall and after Ryan noticed and disabled a last crossbow trap, they came to a set of heavy, iron-plated doors.

"Ooh, this could be hard..." Ryan muttered, looking them up and down. "Hmm, let's see...doesn't seem to be locked."

He grabbed one of the iron rings and pulled on it and the door screeched open. "Holy shit, this is heavy!" he blurted. "I'm part-demon and all that shit but damn!"

The heavy door ground open as he pulled and the treasury revealed itself; a massive vaulted room where coinage and precious items were laid out in a rather organized fashion. Coins were separated by origin and material in sturdy coffers, precious stones and metals separate, in their own coffers and shelves. The room was lit by magic torches and had little of the glittery look often associated with treasure troves.

"Hey, nice of them to put everything aside neatly. People, help yourselves!" Ryan said brightly.

He wandered over to a line of tables where things like clothes and personal effects were laid. "Sheesh, look at all this. Confiscating prisoners' belongings sure added to the bastards wealth... Where's my wallet bag, I had 800 gold pieces in that piece of shit--" he muttered as he sifted through the things. "Aha! Here we go, my fortune restored!" he said, snatching up a tattered purse bag that was disappointingly empty.

He huffed at the rest of the things. "Looks like they already discarded my clothes though... Dammit, and I'd just gotten that shirt. I have to go shopping again," he groaned, turning to one of the coin coffers and after taking precisely 800 gold pieces, proceeded to add more. "Compensation money for all the misery I went through."

Then he looked up. "Ty, are you drooling yet, mutt?" he chuckled.

Raz laughed even harder at Tali's snarky contributions and she held her hand up for a high five. "Oh, that was excellent."

Cerden almost set her off again, but Raz managed to control it this time. "Heehee, ahem... let's *snrk*.... let's going guys." Grinning, she followed Ryan down the corridor, humming a jaunty little tune.

Just as she was about to assist Ryan with the door, he opened it. Ryan bustled in, all business, but Raz followed a little more slowly, taking her sweet time to savor this victory.

She meandered over to the coffers and began filling her pockets with gold. No amount of money could be enough recompense for a life used, dictated, and then discarded like so much trash. But she could spend a few months riding on the unmourned Duke's tab. With all the chaos recent events would cause -- in fact, were probably already causing -- this money wasn't likely to go missing for a long time anyway. Raz grabbed a large emerald from the shelf where many precious stones lay scattered on top.

The stone was perfect -- not a single flaw, about the size of her pinky nail. The rich bluish-green color reminded her of Jazz. She slipped it into her pocket. It would make a nice gift for him -- maybe she'd have it made into an earring. One of his quirks was his idea of jewelry: Each ear bore at least six studs of various colors and metals. The emerald would look good on him, she thought.

Then she told herself that she was not getting it as an apology for ruining this day, which they'd specifically meant to be a normal, relaxing day at the festival. And then she'd gone and ruined it by leaping into combat on automatic. Gah! No, not as an apology. As... as a gift.

Right.

Tali was taken quite back when Raz offered her a high five. Being so short, she had to jump up a bit just to connect with her hand. It was an odd feeling to be friendly with someone, and it wasn’t something she was very used to. However, as she was lost in thought, Ryan appeared to have opened the door. He started looking around for his wallet bag, as Tali instantly took out a small looking bag and smiled. What she saw before her was excellent.

The room was filled with gold and other types of treasure, and Tali wanted to help herself to all of it. While the bag she was carrying was small, it all reality, it was quite big. It had an enchantment on it to carry more than it should allow. In all reality, the small brown bag in her hands could carry a full set of armor. Sadly, the bag didn’t have any tricks to the weight. If she filled it with 100 pounds of gold, it would still feel like 100 pounds of gold.

Instantly, she ran to a large pile of gold and started humming to herself. She had completely forgotten about everyone else, and how tired she was, as well with how much her leg currently hurt. As she made it to the pile of gold, she instantly started filling her bag up with it. She knew it would be well worth it to go with those people. Not only did she have fun, it appeared that she was going to be quite rich!

Tysorai did his level best to ignore the rantings of his group, but even he cracked a smile at the wordplay. Despite this, he was ultimately unamused; they were there for a purpose, and that was to liberate the dearly departed duke from his gem and coin. When Ryan opened the door (Ty did not even move to assist him; his strength was less than sufficient for such a task), the scents of precious metals and gemstones wafted into Tysorai's nose, and he grinned.

"Ty, are you drooling yet mutt?"

Tysorai unsheathed his dagger and slapped Ryan's arm with the flat of it, but held his hungry grin. "Call me a mutt again, and I'll stuff a ruby the size of your dick down your throat, and we know how big that can get." He cast his nose around, and inhaled the treasure's scent deeply. "Great moon, if I didn't fear boredom, I'd never have to work again given an armful of this treasure. What has this sod done, pillaged villages and raided realms?" Tysorai walked over to a shelf and leapt up, grabbing a ledge and hanging over one of the higher shelves. He casually picked up a gemstone and sniffed it. A sapphire; three inches thick by his fingers and at least twice as long. He pocketed it swiftly and dropped back down to land in a crouch, picking up a fallen coin and rolling it around in his fingers. "Hmm...this is a Valentian gold piece." He picked up another coin. "And this...this is a coin from the fiefdom ruled by Ostralot." He stood up and felt the coins appreciatively. "The bastard had his hands everywhere...there's probably some Eskian florins somewhere here, if I were to hazard a guess."

Tysorai walked about the room again, careful to move around obstacles and allies. "You know...we could have something here." Tysorai rummaged in his pockets and removed a little coin that glowed a soft light. "Hear that?" Tysorai asked, holding the coin up. Emanating from it was the soft sound of wind. Tysorai shook it a little for emphasis. "This is something called a Door of Wind; it lets us go back and forth between any town or castle we've already been too. I've had an...arcanely adept acquaintance tinker with it some, and rather than being used up it can be used as many times as we need." He 'looked' towards Ryan. "With this...we can use this place as our own personal bank. Why bother with the fees and tributes exacted by bankers when we can just cave in most of the entrances to the Duke's room, leave the secret passage open, and just come back here whenever we need coin?"

"I wouldn't be surprised if the bastard had gold and crap taken from as far as Panjiang and El Erosea," Ryan cackled and knotted his noticeably heavier purse that jingled with coin.

Busy picking out some pieces of clothing from the loot piled on the tables on one side of the treasure room, Ryan grinned at Ty.

"That sounds like a deliciously cunning idea, Ty," he said, using a positively awful silk cape to wipe most of the sweat and grime off his chest and arms. "I doubt anybody beside the Duke and his treasurer knew about this room, and that treasurer won't last very long once the people out there get all worked up--if they haven't already."

The bad tossed the over-decorated cape aside and pulled on a plain white button-down shirt. "Which reminds me... as soon as we're done financing ourselves in here, we have to get the heck out of dodge. I doubt we're going to be in a very good position. Yes, we bumped off a warlock but it's not like we can just go out there and state the facts. There's still demonified soldiers and probably some of the Duke's henchmen out there and I've no doubt that the people of Morris will want words with them..."

He mused himself in a gold-framed mirror and frowned at his messy five o' clock shadow and dirty hair. "We should leave Morris until shit calms down here. I wouldn't be surprised if people are marching against the castle right now. Everyone pretty much saw the demon soldiers of the Duke out in the plaza," he pondered, putting on a dark vest, a scarf and a belt with a satchel attached to it and then picked up a dark tan cloak with a hood to wrap around his shoulders--all of them salvaged from outfits of other prisoners stashed in the treasury.

Looking more decently dressed now he rubbed his chin. "I could cave in the passage we just came through with a masonic power chord but I'd like to secure us a safe exit out of the castle first--preferably not into the plaza. Raz, do you think the underground passage you took to come here is too dangerous?" he asked the mercenary woman, smirking at her snatching precious stones with a completely straight face.

Raz grinned wickedly. "Ty, you magnificent, wonderful bastard. Marry me. That's the best idea I've ever heard for a long time!" She chuckled evilly. Oh, this was a brilliant idea. This is why she had such respect for magic -- it could do so many glorious, 'fuck-you' things in an infinite variety of ways.

Ryan found some new, clean clothes to wear. Watching him transform into something more acceptable in society made her very much aware of how much blood covered --- well, just covered her in general. She fingered a lock of hair and grimaced at the sticky feeling of hakf-dried blood.

Dammit. It'd take hours to wash that shit out and she'd be smelling like iron and copper for at least three days. Shit.

Going incognito in the crowds of Morris was going to be a problem for her.

"Raz, do you think the underground passage you took to come here is too dangerous?"

She gave Ryan a deadpan look as she shamelessly pilfered more precious stones. Yeah, yeah, yeah, she was a super soldier and all that ja-- um, stuff. But she was still a woman and gems were a weakness of hers. A few amethysts found their way into her pocket.

"That passage has been seriously fucked up by some infernal powers, Ryan. I think the Asshole had been trying to open a gate of some sort. It's like hell down there, at least half of it. But we killed the demon guarding it down there."
She shrugged. "If you don't mind disturbing scenery and a lifetime of therapy, then yeah, the passage is fine."

It had been a fortuitous journey. Cerden didn’t expect to go through this much fun just by coming to Morris. He originally was carrying out a delivery that a traveling merchant was too fucking lazy to do himself. From that has been fun moment after fun moments. It consisted of running into the little pipsqueak Pom, then to meeting the deranged, yet polite Duke..you know, before he went all banana coo-coo. Then from there it went to hell. However, Cerden met a few friends along the way, and if he were to be honest, he is quite fond of them. He formed a weird friendship with Ryan and from that stemmed a form of respect towards each other.

“who knew..” Cerden spoke softly as the group continued to the treasury that would give them all the gold, coins, and anything they needed. However, Cerden only wanted the one thing that he knew the Duke had. Not revealed to anyone, Cerden’s most treasured item was taken from him ten years ago. He had been secretly looking for it, but then when he took the Ruby from the merchant he knew that what it was. However, Cerden couldn’t tell for sure until he actually delivered it to the Duke and when he heard the cries it sounded out, he knew it. It’s weird, though. A jewel giving out cries. It’s an inanimate object, but that one item is the one thing that his parents left for him, and one night it got stolen. So, Cerden finally could reclaim it, and that’s all there was to it.

Cerden became lost in thought for a few moments, but when everyone gave out a loud and rather amazed gasp, he came back into reality and came running. What he saw was a bunch of shiny items. He saw piles and piles of gold coins. While he was amazed at the sight, his eyes were looking for the ruby. He knew that as bad as the Duke was, he still was a Duke. So in that sense, he knew that the superficial dumbass had to have put the ruby somewhere among this room. Cerden also knew that the ruby stood out because it gave out a very faint energy signal that only Cerden can sense. By sneaking away from the group just for a brief second, Cerden found himself at the farthest upper-right corner of the room, and there it was in all of its red glory the ruby that Cerden was looking for.

“THERE IT IS!!!” Cerden unknowingly shouted. Sure enough the whole group heard him, but in that moment, he didn’t really care. This was venerable moment for Cerden, a state that he hardly and rarely finds himself in. He knew what exactly he had to do. This ruby was the missing piece from his Twin Heart. It didn’t add anything particularly significant to his twin swords, but just a sense of completion emotionally. Whatever Cerden was going through before this moment was not meaningless because now, as the others unknowingly witness, this old man is happy once again.

Just in time, Cerden overhears what Ty suggested, and just in time, he came into agreement with the furball. It was a great idea. Instead of stuffing their pockets with as much as gold coins, and jewels, this would serve as the groups own little bank of sorts and whenever they would run low on cash or whatnot, they would use this Door of Wind to get them a little something something.

“you know, I like that idea. “ Cerden said inputting his opinion on the matter.

Now, after that was more-or-less settled, the now topic of discussion was to find a safe and undetectable way to get out of this god-forsaken castle. The idea was to dig some kind of upward hole or something like that and just get the fuck out of here. Cerden didn’t have any objections of how they get out the castle, as long as there isn’t any chance of resistance, he is A-okay with the idea.

Seth was grateful of the assistance, he didn't say anything, not yet at least, but he was pulled from the ceiling and the blood mage dropped him in a pool of the water that he had under control a minute ago.
He didn’t' quite get the context of what was funny in the others' words, he vaguely remembered that in his human life he would have something to say of the matter, but he could not remember what it was, if it was funny or insulting, if it was for laughs or comeback. So he just left it.

As he came in contact with the water, everything seemed better; the energy surged in him instantly but though it was not quite the same as the ocean it would have to do. The puddle formed a strange blob-creature form as more of the water in the room started gathering around him, siphoning water from the cracks in the walls and floor, pulling some out of the attire of the others and in general just pulling his water back. As it reached the needed 80liters a flash of dim blue light revealed itself, it was barely enough to even light up the walls but it was clearly there. Seth now stood in human form again, no one still knew where the textiles came from or the water skin over his shoulder but it was there now.

Following the lot further down the stairs, Seth had not said anything in a while which might be just well enough, after all what would he say?
The lot around him seemed rather interested in this treasury, Seth on the other hand had no interest in mortal needs like this; for the first he never ate or drank anything so it was not that he actually needed money, he had no use of magical trinkets as he could not use magic (his powers are natural, not magical). All in all, whatever was in that room, even if it was the distilled water of the water god himself, Seth had no interest of it. So as one would expect he just stood there, it was somewhat creepy though; a pale weird man just standing and looking at a bunch of people raiding a treasury. But he said nothing and was basically waiting for the lot to be done. He had no problem waiting as the flow of time did not affect him as one would think; one could say that he was a tad more patient than the other person.

Ryan looked thoughtful about the other passage. He eyed everybody. "Well, we could go through the passage but I'm a bit worried we're all a bit pooped after this mess..."

"I'm not. I could take point," Aaron said a little sheepishly.

Ryan smirked. "Well yeah, that'd be nice, since you kept out of the last one. Alright, I guess it's decided, we'll take that passage, pop out at the library and get the hell out of dodge. I'll cave in the passage behind us to close this up and pray to Thor they don't dig through. Alright, pack up as much gold as you need for the time being and let's get outta here," he said with a shrug and followed his own advice. He took enough gold to sustain himself without weighing himself down and prepared his guitar, tuning it a little and playing a couple of test notes.

"How're you going to tear the wall down?" Aaron asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Music, kid," Ryan shrugged. "I'm a bard. I can make music do all kinds of crazy things. I know bards who can build walls with music, charming stones. I learned the opposite," he chuckled, patting his guitar. "And my baby girl here has more than enough oomph to do it."

((OOC: COME ON guys, let's get this show on the road! There are funny scenes I want to happen! Drunk Tali, playing darts, at Raz's favorite bar! WILL HAPPEN and it ain't going to happen just by sitting here! *cracks whip*))

Just then, a deep, unmistakable voice boomed down the hallway.

"HOLY FUCK! WHAT IN THE EVERLOVING BRIMSTONE SHIT IS THIS? RAZ, WHERE ARE YOU? I KNOW YOU'RE HANDIWORK WHEN I SEE IT!"

Raz grinned. "Hey, Cid followed us after all!" She jogged down the hallway, her pockets jangling slightly. "Let's move it guys, let Ty set up whatever his little scheme was!" she called over her shoulder.

She left the small tunnel and entered the throne room again, blinking against the harsh light. There, enormous claymore slung over his shoulder, still wearing the chef's jacket that was too small by about two feet in all directions, was Cid. Another remnant of the same super soldier program that had produced Raz and had helped them find the secret, demon-guarded tunnel earlier. This time, however, an ample amount of blood covered his sword, but his chef's jacket was remarkably spotless.

"Cid, you hygienic freak, you still wear a coat to keep the blood off your clothes?" Raz said, grinning.

The big man huffed, his own red-black eyes narrowing as he took in the savage image she created. "Better than having to spend hours getting blood off my clothes and smelling like a slaughterhouse for days."

Raz smirked. Considering the lacy, almost pretty looking arterial spurts that were drying on her face, this expression looked quite demonic. "You never know how to have fun, Cid!" The smile dropped as she suddenly turned serious. "So, any news?"

Tali filled her bag with what must have been twenty five pounds worth of gold. For most people, this wouldn’t have been a problem at all, and in fact, they would have filled their bags with more. Tali, on the other hand, was very tiny. Therefore, she was struggling with the measly twenty five pounds. While the tiny bag was enchanted and could carry that much, it was still a little embarrassing to appear is if she couldn’t lift a relatively tiny bag.

Once she closed her bag she looked around to see what everyone else was doing. Seth appeared to be fine, much to her annoyance. Ty had suggested collapsing all of the entryways to the vault so they could always come back later. It was a very good idea as far as Tali was concerned. From the sounds of things, Ryan was wanting to use the tunnel that Tali and Raz and the rest of the company took to get out. As much as she didn’t want to, Tali would do whatever it took to make sure she didn’t lose all of her newfound fortune.

Not wanting to get too involved, Tali simply stood there. She placed her small back around her hip (which made her want to topple over) and waited for everyone else. It was clear from the expression on her face that she was tired. After all of the fire spells, blowing things up, and shooting lightning, she really wanted to get to bed at some point. The last thing on her mind at that moment was fighting anything else.

Even if they did, the most she could do is fire one last bolt of lightning and then she really would be out of options… As she was pondering that, Cid came down the stairs and yelled at Raz for a bit. If things continued this way, she was going to go to sleep on the floor. As she waited there, she went from standing to sitting; she really wanted to get off her feet for a bit. Using her staff to help her down, she sat crosslegged on the floor. Once there, she placed her wooden staff next to her and yawned for a bit.

Aaron heard the young bard mention he could cause a cave-in to seal the entrance to the room full of loot and responded.

"Well I'm glad that we won't have to worry about anyone stealing that money..."Aaron Said with a sarcastic tone to his voice,He figured that the money should have gone back to the people since it was theirs to begin with. But he shrugged his shoulders and started to head to the throne room.

"I'll wait in the throne room...When you all are done filling your pockets with his blood money.."He spoke aloud.

Aaron grabbed a small handful of gold just enough to keep him fed and have a soft bed to sleep in for a few weeks and walked back to the throne room, where he saw Raz and the Chef from earlier.

"I think I'll just let 'em talk...Didn't end well for me last time..."He spoke to himself as he rested on a pillar waiting on the others to come out.He wasn't sure if anyone would be crazy enough to take the group on after killing their "Duke"..But if there was they'd probably be the weak foot soldiers from earlier..

((OOC:Hope this is fine for a come back post if I need to change anything tell me x.x I'm kinda half awake atm x.x))

How many pounds must it be? Twenty? Perhaps even double that. How much it was, Cerden knew it would be quite enough to last him quite a bit on the road. He could possibly buy a hut of some kind in the countryside or maybe a nice house in one of the bigger cities. All Cerden really cared about was the ruby he now had back into his possession, and that’s all that mattered.

Soon everybody was all filled with their intake of gold and other shiny items. It seemed they were heading back the way they came, and proceeding back to the throne room, Cerden noticed a rather large, bulky man carrying a claymore, and who seemed to know Raz talking rather loudly. He looked like Raz in a way, and attire fit his masculine build, but what was up with that Chef’s jacket? Was he a warrior who liked to cook? Whatever the fuck was up with that, Cerden didn’t judge as he is friend’s with a blood-sucking(to put into terms) half-fiend, so there’s no room for him to judge a book by its cover.

Now that everybody was out scattered in the throne room, Cerden found himself being pounced by his very friendly, loyal, and very large Gryphon companion, Gary.

Gary released a loving call that usually is meant to express love or missing of one’s companion. Even though it was an hour of the most, Gary sure did miss Cerden. Yeah, the two of them are THAT close. They’ve been buddies since Gary’s hatching ten years ago and they continue to grow closer.

After ‘playing’ with Gary for a good three or four minutes, Gary had became pooped and decided to take a little power nap. From that, Cerden looked around, and took a look back on the carnage that occurred here. At the time - which wasn’t long ago - it was brutal, and the dumb purple idiot was quite a doofus if one were to really think about it.

“I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING!” Cerden shouted as something in the throne room reminded him of someone, “Where on earth did Aiden disappear too?” Cerden said as the missing paladin has been absent for a considerably amount of time. Considering he probably fled away when he had the chance as the guy didn’t really have any reason to fight to the death, but instead he probably found a way to get out.

For the next thirty seconds was complete silence…And now I become the big purple doofus…”Lovely..”

(( For ease's sake I'll assume everyone's gotten out of the treasury now ^^ And don't worry, Jon at the very least will post soon, because I'll stab him. ))

"I think he ran away when the Duke turned up," Ryan said with a shrug to Cerden after he came up from the stairway to the treasury. "Might as well though, I doubt a paladin would be okay with this little...hm, endeavor."

He took note of the guy Raz was talking to and then counted heads to make sure nobody was left in the treasury. Everyone was there, fortunately.

"Alright people, cover your ears, this is gonna be loud," he said casually, strumming his guitar a little bit.

He went right up to the stairway and after a few quick strums he suddenly burst into a very loud chord that developed into a lengthy solo. It was so loud and reverberating that it caused a little tremor through the building. Stone and wood groaned and creaked in the stairway before large chunks started tumbling down and caving in on the stairs. Ryan kept playing and after a few more deafening chords the ceiling of the stairway crashed down upon the staircase, taking it out and filling the space with rubble. A cloud of dust and minute debris flew out of the opening and Ryan backed off, coughing and wheezing.

"Whew!" he blurted and laughed. "Now that was a solo Arat Bearhugger would be proud of!" he chuckled. He busied himself with closing the hidden stone door that he'd opened earlier, completely concealing the passage. "There, hang another tapestry on the wall and it's our little honeypot."

He dusted himself off and approached Raz and the big chef guy. "So what's the scoop, have they started tearing the city apart yet? I bet the Valentian guard from the north border will come marching in to restore order soon enough."

OOC: While Phoebe has yet to threaten to stab me (I haven't given her the chance), I feel the need to post now D: Actually, I felt it several days ago, but...well, I'll get into that in the Discussion Thread.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tysorai, having said his piece, followed Ryan up the steps. He knew what Ryan was going to do well ahead of time, so he walked out of the treasury and made straight for the exit. He stopped at the frame, leaning against it while he waited for the inevitable boom.

Tysorai heard Cerden's shouted question, and echoed Ryan. "I don't remember any paladin...Whoever he was, he must have upped and ran with his tail twixt his legs."

When Ryan shouted his warning, Tysorai gripped pawfuls of his sleeves and stuffed them into his ears. The reverberating sounds of the instruments and the cave-in were still well-heard, but deadened to a bearable level. When the rubble stopped falling, Ty stared blindly at the emerging Ryan and said, "Do you have any idea how horrible that sounded? No wonder the cave fell in." Without waiting for a retort, Tysorai sniffed the trail ahead. "There's no guards...yet. If we want to get out of here without a fight, I suggest we leave now. Besides, didn't you say something earlier about a lich or a graveyard or summat?"

(( Here we go, posting for Dragon Mage and myself all at once! ^_^ ))

Cid rubbed his jaw thoughtfully. "Not much going. There's some rioting and whatnot around the castle but the city is quiet." He grinned suddenly and gave Raz a sly look. "You've lost your touch Razzy. I remember that one time when you single-handedly put a city in riot for a week by--"

"Hey, hey, that was special circumstances!" Raz hastily cut him off. "Besides, I was trying to cause an uproar. It just.... worked better than I thought." Despite her nonchalant tone, she was grinning from the memory. It had been a truly fun fight, getting out of that particular pickle. "Anyways, we--"

At that moment, a loud strum and crack, followed by a minute or two of rumbling cut her off. She watched over her shoulder as the passage collapsed. Raz raised a thin eyebrow as Ryan dusted his hands off. "Not bad," she said. "What other walls can you shake down with that?"

Smirking, she turned back to Cid. "We're going out through that tunnel you showed us in the kitchen. You coming?"

"Of course,"
he said. "Always wanted to see what was down there."
Raz shook her head, expression grim. "You're gonna wish you never found out."

She jogged to the hidden entrance behind the portrait and gently opened the door. Taking a step back, she indicated the dark stairs with a polite flourish of her hand. "Ladies first, Ryan, Cid."

((And now my own))

Ryan cackled a little evily at Raz's question. "Probably anything I wanted if I hit the right vibe, hehehe..."

He slung his guitar over his shoulder again with the same smug grin and smacked both Raz and Cid's backs before they started for the kitchen. "Awesome, let's blow this hell-hole. I'm going to rob one last thing from this goddamn place, and that's a side of smoked bacon because I am starving."

Then he perked up again. "Come one people, let's go see the ghoulies! Let's see who makes it through without puking!"

OOC : Awesome post… I know…
But lack of posting and lack of anything that Seth would actually care about has made this one as interesting as it is. Due to the speedy introduction of the next arc, I will speed up Seth's actual personality gain to match. Expect him to actually care about shit and come with his own comebacks! ^^
-------------------------------

Seth just tagged along, though he felt that he was beginning to change slightly. Not enough for anyone to notice but he felt the need to chuckle, perhaps even answer a snarky sentence with one of his own. It was weird but sort of felt right; he didn't know what was going on to be honest.

Then it happened, Ryan played some strange music on his instrument, where the other ones with solid bodies only had to worry about hearing the sound, Seth had to focus harder than usual to just keep his body from falling apart; after all sound in water does things to it. Though this was not that much per se, it was enough for Seth to feel it quite well; being somewhat unprepared was the reasoning behind the extra focus needed.

As the entrance was sealed, the only thing Seth could think of was his own change at the moment, to anyone around he just looked deep in thought not really paying attention to what others were saying.

Tali wasn’t amused as once again she had to get up and walk. It wasn’t so much the act of walking that bothered her, it was the fact that she was tired combined with the fact that she couldn’t seem to get a break in at all. In just a day, she had blown people up, electrocuted demons and zombies, and then completely drained herself with another lightning spell at a demon with multiple nipples. Of course she was tired, and just as she plopped herself onto the ground, she was right back on her feet.

Luckily for everyone around her, she was also too tired to complain. As they walked out, Ryan started playing something on his guitar and the tunnel collapsed to the ground. Tali didn’t mind that so much just as long as she could get back in. However, judging from the weight of the bag that she filled with gold, that wouldn’t be a problem for quite some time. She walked behind Ryan and Raz, both of which she found interesting. If trouble broke out, she found those two to be the most reliable people there.

Everyone else seemed just about useless. Save for maybe the man that healed her. At least he could do that… As she walked behind a chipper Ryan, she couldn’t help but be mentally judgmental all over again.

Aaron Sohm

Aaron waited on the bard to strum his instrument to cause the wall the crumble leaning on the pillar closest to the doorway. As the Bard played the wall crumbled and was sealed off.Dust blew out into the room from the collapsing wall blowing past Aaron's face.

Aaron Kicked off the Pillar and Spoke to the bard."Well it got the job done, didn't expect that much damage from you but guess your just full of surprises.."He spoke jokingly.

He noticed that everyone was heading to the Exit that lead to that underground Hell,He had forgotten that he was to take point. He ran over to the Exit and spoke loudly."You guy's wanted me to take point this time right?"He asked the group making sure before they entered the dark flesh covered tunnels.
