[Real RP!] - Have Party, Will Travel

OOC: please don't take this as a personal thing, Exocræt, this is just Seth being as he is ^^;
------------

Seth was somewhat happy, he was taken by force by the Duke some time ago and over the course of this long time he had tried to force Seth to submit. He could not be certain how long that was ago, though Seth himself never sleeps and would be able to judge time based on day-to-night change, but the duke was far from stable and slept at irregular times; he might have been awake for 4 days straight and slept for one, then slept every night for the next week. It was virtually impossible to base on this, being in a windowless dungeon sort of messes up that idea.

However he was given freedom by the group he now fought beside, it also seemed as if his actions were helping, he felt strangely at least with this idea in mind; his actions are again actually doing something. As said warriors were taking advantage of the lack of breathing the demon was now in, Seth did as the BloodBender stated, as the Duke's mouth were opened, Seth forced down the blood-red water though the newly found opening a filling his stomach beyond the overflow point. Odds were that the demon now had cramps akin to throwing up, but the water was going no where.

A female elf shouted a command to Seth, one that made little sense. She wanted him to keep the duke wet, so she could electrocute him. Well her words had logic in them but Seth was already encasing every part of the duke, beside his arms and legs, in water. For all purposes the duke was underwater.
"Are you also blind?" Seth asked as if he honestly thought she was blind; as he had started to understand that the wolf-man was. "I am already keeping him more or less under water, so as long as you keep your electricity away from me; feel free to attack him." Seth's words took base in the assumption that she was blind; hence the explanation.
During the whole ordeal, he kept an emotionless face, as if he had the same expression doing this as randomly watering some plants on a 'bleh-day'.

Normally Seth would be able to absorb energy put into his water, Lightning and electrical attuned attacks were the exception. Though if he did not have this 'infernal sickness' he would most likely be able to direct some of the lightning in his water, his current state was even unknown to him; would he be able to control the water as the current of the skies were coursing though it? Or would he lose control temporarily? This was both a valid combat movement as well as a perfect method for the elemental to learn this about himself.
"I also recommend waiting until your companions have moved out of the water; or they will suffer the same fate as the demon." he followed up his explanation on the same 'she is blind' basis.

Aaron Sohm

Aaron just sits back and watches the others fight the Duke,He's surprised that ugly bastard can still stand after taking so much damage,as everyone fights he just stabs his sword into the ground and sits down resting,he remembers that he had some food left over from his trip to the mine.

"Sheesh wonder how much more of this he can take...I don't really feel like getting mixed up in that free for all with all the magic going about.."He spoke to himself whilst pulling a Rice ball from his satchel,he begins to eat it watching the fight."Nothing tastes better than a Rice ball in the middle of a bloody battlefield."He said jokingly sitting and eating the ball of rice.

((OOC:just keeping my character alive with a little comedy =P))

There were many thoughts swimming around Cerden’s mind through out the three or four minutes that everything was happening. With Ryan, Ty, Raz, and the water-mage dude all throwing in their attacks at full-force to the Demon Duke…who was now manless. He just kept on thinking on what he could do in a logical sense. Because, let’s face it! With the duke trapped in a water prison-like sphere, and the only way to get in there without being drowned or something is to get the fluid permission from the water mage.

He thought about the idea of using his glass at a long-range kind of attack, but how would they penetrate the water to a point where it wouldn’t be slowed down or worse. This troubled Cerden.

Maybe I can increase my strength and accuracy to get the job done, but then that means I might hit Ryan or Raz by accident.

Cerden was now in a deep train of thought playing out what he could do, but the only thing that made sense was to form a very sharp, and sturdy layer of glass over Twin Heart and then using his luck to get a heart-strike. However, to do that, Cerden would first need distractions, and a good amount of time to get in, get out, and get the job done.

“Hey, Waterman! I have a plan, but it will involve you to giving me a large enough opening.” He said not wasting time gathering around the sand on the ground as Cerden kneeled down and dug his hands into the soil of the ground.

A faint brown glow could’ve been seen if one was to be watching Cerden’s every move. From that, he pulled out Twin Heart, and the gathered sand had already been poured onto Twin Heart, which created a very sharp and sturdy layer of glass around Cerden’s Twin Heart.

“NOW!” he shouted as increased speed was evident when Cerden ran at full speed and almost coming up to the sphere prison that the duke was in. Hopefully the watermage would do what Cerden asked, and all could run smoothly.

OOC: short post is short, but hopefully this can kick-start the flow again ^^

Seth was confused, not a lot just enough to notice it himself. Here he had enchased the Duke in water, enough to restrict his movements at least slightly, but the main thing was that he was currently trying to breathe in water; something even his changed physique would not allow him to do.
Seth had already explained that he would open up the water sphere where it was needed for incoming attacks, yet this human were requesting that he opened the sphere of water as he were to attack… So he was asking Seth to do what Seth already stated he would be doing?
Strange humans, having the need to command something to be done even after it is stated that it will happen regardless.

However, as Seth stood there in thought, trying to figure out this man’s brain pattern, the word ‘now’ shouted out pulled Seth back into focus and he noted that the man who gave the order were now charging the demon with a sword seemingly covered in glass.
But… Why would he even need and opening for a glass sword? A sword in any case would not be hindered by common water; it would be like stabbing the ocean. But, as stated, Seth opened a hole in the sphere of water as the man got close enough for it to be needed, starting with an opening just larger than the width of the blade and increasing the size as it seemed necessary.

(( OOC: I LIVE! ...and I have DM's permission. ^^ ))

Ryan perked up and out of his infernal stab-happy mood when Tali mentioned electricity. He was still sore from her frying the rabbit and really, really didn't want a second helping.

Raz's hit had gone all the way into the bastard's heart and the Duke, though submerged and definitely slowly drowning, thrashed about, still bound by both his wires and the water guy's bubble. And now Cerden was coming in, swords blazing--so to speak.

"Gah! Cerden--wait! We're about to get electrocuted here! Abort! Abort, you old goat!" Ryan blurted. waving his arms around.

His sense of devilish rage took a boot to the face from the prospect of being zapped and he managed to tide his aggression over in favor of saving his ass.

"Come on Razzie, we're gettin' off this bronco before that crazy bear-cavalry elf plays Thor with our asses...!" he said with a wince and detached his armor from the wires holding the duke captive. He allowed the ends of the two wires to dig into the demon's flesh, reaching into his chest and causing him more pain, reflected in his thrashing and roaring, and with two smaller tentacles grabbed Raz around the waist.

Ryan jumped off the Duke, taking Raz along, judging by her expression that she was a little too...excited to make that decision for herself. He hit the ground smoothly and backed away, holding Raz barely off the ground and about to put her down.

Raz grinned with savage glee as dark hearts-blood welled up from around her sword. She finally made it past the ribs and Thirst drank deeply from the Duke's heart. The cocktail of bloodlust and revenge was intoxicating.

Abruptly, she was rudely yanked away from the glorious moment in the most literal sense of the word. Strange tentacle things appeared out of nowhere and plucked her off the Duke. She snarled in rage as Thirst was torn from her grasp, landing on the floor, and distance grew between her and the Duke.

"fucksonofabitch I'm gonna kill you!" she snarled.

Her feet touched the floor. With blinding speed honed from a lifetime of hard life and hard training, she spun around and grabbed the person that had torn her away by their shirt. Every fiber of her being screamed for bloodshed. She didn't even notice as she lifted the person off the ground. The super-soldier program and training regimen aimed to make the strongest, toughest warriors humanity could offer, and Raz was a shining example of its success.

She slammed her assailant on the ground, feeling a twisted pleasure as the wind wooshed expelled from their lungs in a pained grunt. Kneeling over the attacker, she jerked them up by the shirt and raised her fist to crush their face to a bloody pulp.

Something suddenly switched off, a little snick! right behind her eyes and her vision cleared as the bloodlust drained away. Before her, looking dazed and winded, was Ryan. For a stunned instant, she could only stare in surprise, realizing she'd been a hairsbreadth away from pounding his face in. She gently lowered him to the floor so he could catch his breath.

"Hey, you okay?" Her throat felt rough, like she'd been screaming. "Don't scare me like that."

Ryan thought they were in the clear, ready to witness some electric fireworks, when he felt himself being grabbed and lifted clean off the ground, metal tentacles, remaining armor and all.

Now, the last time someone had swept him up like that, it was a tone-deaf, impossibly rude and annoying orc that had tried to break him in two or something, before Ryan took his head off. This time though, he was dealing with a rampant merc lady who apparently didn't know when to stop. Having previous experience of being thrown like a ragdoll, Ryan took a quick breath, exhaled as much as he could as he went flying and braced for impact.

He hit hard, with a soft crunch as his already battered ribs took another blow and he nearly bounced on the floor, skidding a foot or so along and coming to a stop with a pained groan.

"Sonofabitch..." he grumbled, gritting his fangs.

And then he felt himself yanked up again by the tattered shirt he'd ganked off a guard a couple hours earlier and stared back at Raz as she prepared to deck him until his face was paste--another thing he'd been through time and time again in the past.

But then...she stopped. She suddenly seemed to snap out of it, much to his relief and realized what she was doing. She let go of him.

"Hey, you okay?"

Ryan pulled himself up to his elbow and rubbed the back of his head. "I'll live. I've taken harder beatings," he said casually and sprang to his feet. "Scared you? Heh, don't wanna see you terrified, then."

He flexed his neck and heard a loud crack from the back of his neck and smirked. "Heh, now I know what it'd be like to be married to you, Razzie," he chuckled. "Maybe if I get high enough on infernal powers I'll pay ya back one," he added wickedly.

Cerden knew exactly what he wanted to do. He would rush in, increase his overall speed, and use the water as an extension of himself to move himself around. He would increase his agility to dodge any blows the Duke would throw at him, and accuracy would increase as well to insure that Cerden himself would launch perfect aim with his attacks. All of this would’ve gone perfectly as planned if it wasn’t from the very smart warning from Ryan.

When Ryan said that the magic elf near that strange creature was going to launch an all-out lighting spell, that stopped Cerden in his tracks — literally. When he did stop, Cerden knew that the electricity would no doubt have some backlashes on the ground, and the last thing he needs is to feel the wrath of some bitchy elf chick due the water being all over the place.

So knowing this, Cerden called over Gary, and as he came running over, Cerden gave the signal to Gary to take flight, and from that Cerden jumped off his right foot, and in the process from jumping to landing on the back of Gary, Cerden twisted his body by flipping several times, and from this he landed perfectly on Gary’s back. The transition from ground to mount was done perfectly.

Now all Cerden had to do was just play the waiting game, and hope that that elf chick can deliver.“Sure hope we can get out of here soon, I’m hungry.” he muttered to himself rubbing his stomach.

Tali wasn’t very amused when Waterboy, the name she had given him, decided to call her blind. The nerve of him! She was somewhat interested to be meeting another Mage… but all of that interest had just flown right out of the proverbial window. As of that moment, she instantly hated him. Then to further strengthen her hate, he gave her a “recommendation”. She was half tempted to shoot him with electricity rather than the Duke.

“Antolle ulua sulrim!” She yelled. Tali didn’t much care if he could speak her language or not. She glanced to the side and watched Aaron making himself useless as he started eating a ball of rice. With a sigh she promptly put her palm to her face in frustration. However, on a lighter note, that meant that he was out of the way when she was ready to shoot her lightning spell. However, Cerden didn’t seem to keen on doing nothing.

He jumped into the fray as Tali started concentrating harder on her spell. With as much punch as it was going to have, it was going to take everything out of her. She was definitely going to have to rest after she was done. She placed her palms together and a large orb of electricity started forming. It looked somewhat small, but the stream of lightning that would flow from it would be more than enough to put down an overgrown six nippled monstrosity.

After a few moments, she was done. Upon looking up she saw that the Duke was still encased in water, the moronic Mage was still holding him in it, and everyone else had promptly gotten away, or was in the process of getting away, from the Duke. “Well, he is in for a rather shocking experience.” She grinned at her own pun. Without waiting for anything else, she let the lightning fly from the orb in front of her. The crack of it ripped through the room. The sound of it made Tali’s bones shiver.

As the fired at the Duke she could feel every last scrap of energy leaving her body. She really hoped it would kill it… because she was done for the time being. The blue glow of the lightning started to vanish as Tali leaned over, fell off of her Berhu and hit the ground more tired than she had ever been in her life. “T-tanya awra…” Berhu came over and licked her face, but she was too tired to care.

Raz gave Ryan a smirk, privately relieved she hadn't done any serious damage to him. For a moment, she was going to kill him without any hesitation. At first glance he didn't seem to be any worse for wear from her rough handling, but then he'd been pretty tattered looking when they first met. In that short time, she'd grown immense respect for him. The dude had guts, give-em-hell attitude and a knew dirty songs. That made him one of the best people she knew.

"Heh, now I know what it'd be like to be married to you, Razzie. Maybe if I get high enough on infernal powers I'll pay ya back one."

"If you do, I'd deserve it," she said, grinning. At least he didn't hold a grudge -- she thanked the stars for that.

Suddenly, her eyes went wide and her hand flew to her belt, grasping at empty air. "Where's my sword?" she demanded. Just as her eyes lit upon the blade, blood-covered and glowing menacingly, on the ground a short distance away, Tali zapped the Duke.

A thundering boom made Raz's heart shudder for a second and a brilliant flash of blue-white light blinded her for a moment. The next thing she smelled was scorched flesh. Blinking spots from her vision, Raz saw Tali slump over and fall off Berhu. "Tali!" Raz dashed over to the slightly-built mage and knelt beside her. "Hey, you okay?" She carefully helped Tali up to a sitting position. With her elbow she very cautiously poked Berhu in the cheek, who was still sloppily licking his mistress' face. She didn't know how the bear would react to others touching him so she didn't put much force behind her push. "Get away," she said mildly, ready to jump aside if he took offense and made a swipe at her.

Berhu was suddenly pushed away by someone, but Tali couldn’t be bothered to look up. Her face was somewhat wet from Berhu licking her. Normally, she would have been furious, but as of that moment, Berhu could have started eating her clothes and she wouldn’t have cared. The next thing she knew someone was beside her. “Hey, you okay?” From the sound of her voice it was Raz, the tall woman that Tali wanted to study. She couldn’t remember why at that particular moment, but she was sure once she was up and ready to go she would remember in a heartbeat.

“I will be in a few minutes. I-I just need to rest a bit. It appears I have… o-overexerted myself… just a bit.” Tali said. Her voice was weak as she spoke. With that, Raz pushed Berhu away so that he couldn’t reach Tali’s face anymore. Berhu stepped back a bit with a somewhat worried look on his face. “Did I kill it? And keep Waterboy away from me, I do not trust him as far as I can throw him.” After falling off Berhu like that she was sure he would have something to say about it.

She tried to get up, but her arms wouldn’t lift her. After two attempts she just decided to stay on the ground. Besides, the floor was nice and cold.

Lightning flashed across the room and temporarily blinded Aaron he rubbed his eye's in annoyance."Damn that was bright as hell!!"He yelled out still seeing white. He sighed and reached for another rice ball only to grab air."Damn no more rice balls..."He stood up and slapped his hand's together to get rid of the crumbs.

"So is that guy dead now..?He yelled out once again hoping that this monster didn't strike them while they were still recovering from that flash of lightning. His vision slowly returns to him seeing the room.

((OOC:short post))

Having the tendency to overhear things from a distance away, Cerden couldn’t help himself when Raz was over by the now exhausted Tali who just unleashed a bombshell of a spell on Demon Duke. She looked quite pathetic. Panting every few seconds, and sweat dripping down from her every millisecond. He knew he could help her with his healing, and he was probably the only one aside Aaron who was at full strength, and had very minimal fatigue.

“Gary take me down near that elf chick.” Cerden said as Gary lowered the both of them a few yards away from Tali and Raz.

Carefully getting off of Gary, Cerden started to walk over to Tali who was barely able to sit— let alone stand up. Cerden had a few nice bones in his body, and the least he could do is heal the elf to a point where she didn’t look too pathetic. Besides, Cerden had a soft spot for chicks who can hold their own.As soon as Cerden(and Gary) were walking their way over to Tali, they noticed that she fell off of her pet thing.

By the time Cerden had reached a two-three feet distance from him and Tali(and Raz), Twin Heart was safely placed in its sheath.

He kneeled down with a more-or-less considerate expression, and Cerden spoke, “hey there hot stuff. You look like a mess. Let my awesome powers make you feel better. Just don‘t kill me afterwards.”

Placing both hands out, a green glow emitted from Cerden’s hands, and a soft ringing sound was heard as his magical powers were now doing their job on restoring some strength to Tali. Cerden’s only wish is that she doesn’t clock him a good one after he’s done.

(( OOC: I was raking my head to find a good way to write this scene out, and to allow Red Fox the finishing blow [don't ask for details, suffice to say we had a deal :drag:and he actually asked. Y'all can get other finishers, just ask and you'll receive ^^]. But I think I've got it! ))

The trapped Duke was hit hard. The lightning power that hit him was amplified in effect by the water and the metal wires still wrapped around him and carving into his body. Any protection the infernal powers embedded in his hide were all but nullified from the combination. The water made the electricity hurt more, and the wires created a direct, wonderful path straight into him.

The demon tensed suddenly, looking as stiff as a board and then was wracked by spasms. He grunted and then screeched in agony, his head alone jerking from side to side erratically, while the room was filled with the smell of charred flesh and the distinct aroma of an infernal creature. The lightning arced here and there, jumping along the massive body and opening sores and causing burns all over it.

Eventually the body relaxed and then toppled over sideways with a resounding thud in the middle of the trashed throne room. He let a croak of a sigh and didn't move.

Ryan gave it a few moments before approaching, during which he followed Raz all the way to Tali. His admiration for the elf had veritably skyrocketed since first meeting her. He helped Raz pull the bear away and gave it a playful but firm scruff on the neck.

"Lady, when we get outta this dump, I'm writing you a sonnet. Or a power ballad, whatever you prefer," he chuckled at Tali, glancing back at the seemingly motionless body of the demon. "Right, stay put everyone, and keep your shit at ready. I'll see if he's really dead. Demons and their spawn love playing possum..."

He moved over to the body of the duke, picking up Raz's sword on the way with the intent of returning it to her. The moment he got close enough, he could tell the bastard wasn't dead yet. Dying, yes, but not fast enough.

"Son of a satyr..." he muttered.

He moved over to the head, where he immediately could see that the duke was breathing, albeit barely, and blood was flowing out his mouth with every strained breath that sounded like his lungs were full of blood.

"You...bastard..." muttered the duke.

"You just don't wanna quit, do you?" Ryan sighed.

"I...nearly had it..." the duke went on. "I nearly had...all the power I could want...if only I'd realized...what you were hiding..."

"That's what you get when you pick on bards. Next time, don't use a battery that can think and plot revenge for all that goddamn probing. If you wanted to get off, you should've hired yourself a submissive or something."

"Wait...! I have to know...! Where...where did you get your power?!" the duke wheezed. "You're not...the spawn of just any...hack demon...you can't be!"

Ryan rolled his eyes. "Got it at the supermarket, if you must know," he scoffed. "It's not your business anyway. Just shut up and die. I've got a treasury to loot for my shit, people to pay for being awesome, and a mount to catch out of this bunghole of a country. To say nothing that somewhere out there, is a massive piece of roast and a big stein of ale with my name on them."

Saying so he kicked the duke in the face, with enough force to fracture the jaw and prevent him from making any further comprehensible statements. On one part he may just have been frustrated but on another level...he may well have shut the duke up to keep him from asking any more uncomfortable questions.

"Hey, anybody want to finish him off? I'm sorta short on blood supply now," Ryan called, putting his hand on his waist, while most of his blood armor liquefied and oozed back into the wounds he had on his arms and chest. Other than those scratches and some bruises, he appeared to be in relatively good condition. He winced when he breathed, and looked like he needed a bath and a change of clothes, but he seemed alright.

Seth were a tad surprised regarding this crowd, here they have a decent strengthened mage that has sold his whole being to the demonic forces to obtain power; his body was changed, his mind was changed, his very being was that of a demon with control over his mind. Though no one batted an eye when fighting the creature, they kept attacking as if they had some reasons beyond payment, did they all have a vendetta against the man? Or was this the bonds of friendship? Seth was not sure but it worked nicely.

As the mutated demon fell to its side, looking rather dead, Seth took the water that was used on it towards himself, filtering out any inconveniences from it on the way; ending up with basically purified water as it reached his body.
Encasing himself in this for a minute allowed him to heal himself slightly, this was not enough to properly heal him but it allowed him to surround himself, or rather recreate, his body with properly purified water; which helped something incredible. Though it did not bring him to complete healthy levels it made it better and took out the mental cloud that he had received from the dark energy. Perhaps he should ask that bloodbender for help? He seemed to react to the energy in the room differently; almost as if he could draw it to himself and use it…

Suddenly Seth’s train of thought crashed into the mountain that is reality, the Duke spoke? He asked the bloodbender, which were apparently part demon himself, where he got his powers. A snarky answer later punctuated with a kick the man stated something that made the water around Seth boil…
He asked if anyone would like to give the ending blow.

Seth suddenly forgot his own status, his slightly infected status, and walked out of the crowd around him towards the downed Duke. Even the demonic mind lying on the floor in front of the water elemental had a sign of fear in his eyes.
Seth crouched down. “I warned you about this; as soon as you lost me to water your fate was sealed. Like the water endlessly pounding against mountain walls it was only a matter of time until I got what I needed.”
Seth got to his feet; the water that he had used to strangle the one in front of him now flowed around on the rock floor, strangely keeping itself as a puddle around Seth instead of just dividing itself in corners and dips.

Suddenly, the water around Seth froze in a heartbeat. Seth drew the energy from the water molecules effectively slowing them down until they froze. A nifty trick that can supply Seth with almost unending amounts of energy; if someone enters energy into water it boils, if someone draws energy from water it freezes. With those laws of physics having a pool of water somewhere above freezing temperature gave Seth a steady flow of energy to work with. The reason for him drawing this instantly was that in his weakened state he would not be able to perform his planned move unless he took the external energy that he did.

Seth extended his right open hand towards the duke’s head, and with the same emotionless face that he had during the whole encounter, he closed the hand into a fist in a single swift motion. At the exact time that the hand was closed the duke’s head made a strange sound, almost as if someone took a handful of rotten meat and squished it between one’s hands. The duke’s right eye had its pupil fully dilate after a second (the pupil got to its full ‘big size’ as if in darkness) whereas the left one remained the size it was before. Both eyes lost its shine and received a blank thousand-mile stare as he started bleeding ever so slightly from his ears, eyes and nose. And the final act that the duke did in this realm was that his body completely stopping all forms of activity with one last long exhale as if the weight of his body were doing the work.

Seth stood there for a few seconds before the water around his bare feet thawed as he turned around and walked on the slippery surface as if it was flat rock floor, not even having a hint towards that he had problems walking on it.
As he turned, his face had the same blank face but if one looked one could see that he was in thought.

His reason for being here had just ended, he was again free. He were not about to be sold to a jewelry store and no one were chasing him for his abilities. This was followed by the realization that he had nothing else to do at the present time… Perhaps he should just return to the ocean and lie there for a few decades before surfacing and taking a look at what had changed.
He would naturally prefer to go with the group, after all he did like friends and whatever things this might draw with it, but he was like the water that made him up. Without anything to redirect its path it will just flow back to the ocean where it belongs. But for now he waited, he planned to follow the group outside at least, as he were not sure of which way to walk as his entry to this dungeon was in a box without any peeking holes.

Ryan barely had time to take a big step away from the body of the duke as the water mage crushed his skull like a melon, spattering brain matter and blood all over the place. Following that, the body of the monstrous beast started to slowly shrivel like a prune, leaving a strange sooty stain on the floor in its wake. With the Duke finally dead, the air suddenly felt lighter, like the infernal energies were lifting.

"That works," he said casually, looking a bit taken aback from the squeamish site.

He handed the sword back to Raz, then approached the water mage curiously. He was concerned about Ty, but his curiosity was getting the better of him. "Thanks for the assist," he said, pacing around the guy like he was inspecting him, as strange as that looked.

Then he stopped right in front of the water mage and suddenly gently poked him in the cheek with his finger. It felt like very firm jello with a layer of skin (or something like it) on top and he grinned like a kid who found treats. He poked him in the same place gently one more time, and chuckled.

"Are you some kind of elemental? I've never seen one behaving like you before," he said. "I noticed that quite a lot of the infernal powers are getting stuck in you. Probably because you're all magic. I can help with that."

Ryan looked at the rest of the group with a wide grin. "Do excuse me, I'll only be a moment."

Then he suddenly seized the water elemental by the back of the head with one hand and pressed their lips together in a deep kiss, tongues and all. Kissing the elemental felt strange, very watery and cool. But at the same time, he was absorbing loose infernal energy mingled with the elemental's magic.

Nearly a minute later, Ryan let go of him, looked him up and down and patted the elemental's shoulder. "You should be fine now. Give it a few more minutes and the rest will go away by itself."

Then he grinned at the others again as he sauntered over to Ty, who seemed to still be out of it. "If anyone else is feeling queazy or like you're about to puke out a demon, I can help you clear it out. Or you can just wait it out, it'll be gone in a bit, hehehe..."

He hunkered down over the werewolf and patted his fuzzy cheeks and rubbed his lupine ears. "Ty? Ty, you sleepin', pupperz? Come on timber wolf, up and at 'em; we got some shit to reclaim and a treasury to loot before we bail outta this shithole."

Raz smirked at Ryan's comment about a power ballad. "I can help him make it," she added, while giving Tali some water to sip from a small canteen she always kept with her. "Here, drink a little. Just some water." Raz held the smaller mage up so she could drink.

She didn't have to add that she was already keeping an eye on the mysterious water mage. Magic was fine in her book and she bore no grudge against those that used it. But magic like that.... well, that got her hackles up, no question. So far, they'd all had a common enemy. Once the Duke was dead, that tune could easily change.

She watched as Ryan picked up her sword and smirked again as he kicked the Duke's face in. It was lovely to see that paranoid bastard finally get some back. She stayed put, however, when Ryan had offered to let someone else finish the Duke off. There was no need for her to do it. He knew who'd killed him, and that was what mattered. She didn't care how he spent his last breath.

And when the Duke's head was crushed like a melon, Raz smiled tenderly, an expression reserved only for lovers and for the heads of enemies as they imploded.

"Thanks,"
she said, accepting her sword from Ryan. Turning back to Tali, she asked, "Do you need help getting out of here, or do you think you can stay on Berhu?"

From the corner of her eye, she caught Ryan.... kissing.... the strange water mage. Well. That was... odd. She snorted quietly when Ryan offered to 'take care' of any infernal residue on anyone. She quietly thanked the stars that she felt perfectly fine. Ryan was a good sort and all, but she didn't relish the thought of such.... intimacy.... with him at all. Even if in a decidedly unromantic manner.

Tali flinched somewhat when Cerden walked up to her. She wasn’t quite used to people coming to her aid when she needed it, and she certainly wasn’t used to people who were practically strangers doing it. She barely knew Raz and she knew Cerden even less. While she did appreciate any help given to her at that time, she was still put off a little by the fact that she hardly knew any of them. “Hey there hot stuff. You look like a mess. Let my awesome powers make you feel better. Just don’t kill me afterwards.” Tali managed a small snicker. With the way she was feeling, she couldn’t kill a rat with her powers.

A green glow started emitting from his hands. As it went on, Tali felt a little better. At least she felt as if she could sit upright on her own. “Thank you… I suppose.” She said. Tali wasn’t ever good at expressing gratitude. It was then that she noticed Ryan nearby as well. “Lady, when we get outta this dump, I’m writing you a sonnet. Or a power ballad, whatever you prefer.” Tali was fine with either, but before she could answer Ryan had walked back towards the Duke… or what used to be the Duke. “I can help him make it,” Raz had said.

“That would be fine. I could always use a song based off of my greatness.” It was then that Raz lifted up a canteen to her lips. Raz lifted her up to a position she could drink in. “Here, drink a little. Just some water.” Tali did just that and drank a little bit. From there, she focused back on the Duke and Ryan.

She could somewhat hear it speaking, which meant that she hadn’t killed it… but she had hurt it, very, very, badly. Close enough for her. Tali would have loved to take him up on the offer to finish him off, but she doubted she could hobble over there and manage to give him the equivalent to a cigarette burn. It was Waterboy that eventually came and finished him off. Tali would have preferred it to be anyone else. She felt as if her assist kill just became tainted.

Ryan asked him a few questions, but Tali was hardly listening anymore. Instead she was focused on Raz. “Do you need help getting out of here, or do you think you can stay on Berhu?” Tali wiggled around until she was sitting upright. “I think I can stay on Berhu, I will just make sure to wrap his saddle straps around my wrists so I will not fall.” She replied. From there, she stood up. It took a little bit, and it hurt, but due to Cerdan’s healing, she could at least manage that.

She limped over to where Berhu was now standing and she climbed on him. Just as she said she would, she wrapped the straps around her wrists. “Please go slow, Berhu. I do not want to fall again.” She sighed and put her face in his fur. Even with the healing, she was still exhausted.

Looking at this odd group, as well as the other creatures in said room, Seth could not help to wonder what brought these together. Was it really only friendship? It had been a while since he had any to speak of, so he had started to forget the meanings and feelings behind the word. Or was it just money or other valuables, a shared cause perhaps? Things like this often united people even if they would normally rip each other’s throats out.
The black haired man, the bloodbender, came up to Seth and poked him a few times on his cheek. Seth did not really act on it, just standing there with a blank face waiting for the man to be done, indeed that Seth might feel odd but this is due to his watery build; he would indeed feel like something soft with skin on top of it, someone once compared Seth’s ‘muscles’ as feeling like human female breasts; smooth, covered in skin and strangely soft. The man seemed strangely happy with himself as he was poking the elemental; it was odd; it reminded Seth about the image of an interested and happy kid. Strange man…
Then he spoke, asking about Seth’s being in general, it seemed as he had already guessed what he was but in any case Seth was not one not to answer one that asked nicely.
“Yes, you can compare me to what the humans would call a ‘Water Elemental’, though I’m not exactly one the differences are few.” His answer might have a dry tone to it, but it was true.
Seth were not a pure water elemental, he was human once… long ago… he were not bound to the water or watery areas, he could even live in a desert. But most other comparisons would draw the similarities and odds were that if he was to be compared by someone that knew the water elementals; he would be classified as a different branch of the same species.

The man also mentioned the infernal powers that resided within Seth’s heart, but he ignored it for now as it should pass in not long. Being about to walk, or suggest that they leave, something sort of blocked him and had its own idea of what to do.
This bloodbender started to kiss Seth, a strange feeling indeed. Strangely passionate he were as well, though as one that knew Seth would have known, not that many know of him at all, he did not have a specific sexuality nor was this a negative thing for him as he felt the energy flow from his gem though the water ending up exiting Seth’s mouth into the bloodbender’s body. Seth was right in the start; there were something odd about this one, he might be part demon or something akin to that.

A rough minute later the man stopped, the same lack of interest showed on Seth’s face but he did feel better, and as the tentackly’ man stated Seth would feel even better given a few minutes to let the ‘body’ react on the leaving of energy. Not really seeming phased by this himself the man then proceeded to walk over to the lykan that initially gave Seth water.
As strange as it sounded, for some reason Seth looked around in the room, and he saw the other people in a different light. This half-breed they seemed to be following; he just kissed Seth for the sole reason of helping the elemental getting rid of the irregular energy that was corrupting his body, he did not seem to want anything in return, nor was this a romantic interest.
The others were helping each other as well, the female with strange eyes (Raz) were helping the elven lightning mage with some water to drink; whereas this were a good thing for most life forms Seth could not help to feel strange… Wait… he were feeling things? That was a first in quite some time. Though it did not stop there; the one with the strange eyes seemed to have an odd look when looking at Seth, it was like she did not quite know what to think about him, suspicious of sorts, that or her odd eyes just had a strange effect when looking on someone. Though this was not really anything compared to the elven mage; when she looked at Seth there was an aura of annoyance? Hate? Love? Seth could not remember the differences in looks anymore but he knew there were a meaning behind the ones he received, if not only from the odd eyed one, but the elven girl.

Deciding to ignore it for now he stood where he was now, just turning around to face the bloodbender and the Lykan, after all it was the were-wolf that gave him the water for him to break free in the first place, and the bloodbender that had removed the infernal energies so he planned to thank them both.

While the duke was busy dying, Cerden was taking it upon himself to do the right thing, and give a little healing love to the elf responsible for saving everyone’s hides. Even though he didn’t really do much himself, Cerden knew it was the right thing to give her some energy so that she could move at free will..or in the very least, be able to sit on her own free will. As he continued to rejuvenate her energy, she gave him an expression of gratitude. Now, this is coming from the girl who appeared to have a personality of a cold-hearted bitch. But, it seems Cerden was wrong about that.

Cerden smiled slightly. He stood away from Tali as it appeared that the Female mercenary, Raz had it under control. When he did that, he noticed the finishing blow being dealt to the duke who just before getting his head smashed in by the water mage spoke some words. Whatever these words were, they weren’t really important…at least not relevant to Cerden.

Standing up, Cerden began to brush off the dirt that got on his clothes, but then he stopped any and all movement with his hands when he saw Ryan land a big one on the Water mage. Cerden’s mouth dropped. He knew that Ryan was a weird one, but he never knew he rolled for the team of the big sticks. Either this was a payback to the mage for the water prison the duke was in or Ryan thought of the mage as more than a friend. Whatever the case is, Cerden was determined to get an answer.

Before he could go yelling at Ryan, Cerden saw him go running over to the warewolf dude. It wouldn’t be polite for him to do over there, but when was Cerden ever respective to others?

So, Cerden ran in a fast job over to where Ryan was(which was near the unconscious Ty).. Cerden kneeled down on the opposite side of ty to where Ryan was. Cerden released a sigh, and spoke, “sooo, you wanna explain that juicy kiss you gave to the water dude?”
