Rebecca Black; The worst song of all time?

Once again, our american news channels are astonished with the retards of youtube. But you gotta love that anonymity, it can really turn some people into the biggest assholes you've ever seen.

I really have to ask though; what the fuck is "this video has gone viral" supposed to mean?

In moments like this I really can understand why the "Big Man upstairs" would want to press the "KA-BOOM" button. Seriously, people like Justin Beiber and Rebecca Black making it to the top with virtually no effort are the reason why most adults from the baby boomer generation believe that the next generations are going from bad to worse.

Look at most of the teenagers these days for crying out loud. :ffs:

Gotta love insta-memes!

I actually like this song for the same reason I like horrible JRPG dubs:it screws up so bad,you can't help but love it.

I wish nothing but the best for Rebecca.

Aaaannndddd......You don't know what viral means,L?:confused:It's just when a video reaches a threshold where enough people have seen it that friends sharing it with friends who then share it with their friends cause it to get millions of hits quickly.

y'know if you watch that video when she sings part national anthem, she's actually not that bad. But the music video itself and the sheer felocity of the auto-tune... ruined her.

I saw this a while ago and it wasn't my thing at all.

The beat was catchy but the lyrics were so average. No effort put in at all.

Though she really doesn't deserve the psycho hate mail she's been getting like, 'Go cut yourself and die etc etc.'

She might not have the best song out there but those comments are totally unnecessary.

You guy's make it out to be the worst thing out there. 8(

Honestly, it's not that bad, unless everybody for got about Chocolate Rain. I actually like this song, but with that said, it's not really worth listening to all day. This would be fun to listen to when plotting her demise. :wacky:

You take that back, Chocolate Rain is a motherfucking MASTERPIECE.

But yeah, this song was pretty fucking awful. Sad what kids these days are listening to. :ffs:

This song represents the death of music: it has no redeeming quality. I love the video, though. It's so depressing! Just look at the painfully fake smiles on their faces.

It'd be perfect for a violent brainwashing session.

Hooooly testicle tuesday! I think I've listened to cats trying to kill each other that had more musical talent! I've been in choir and drama club most of my school life, and I've never heard anyone so horrible! I'd rather listen to Eminem than this, and I hate rap >.<

i love this for how shit it is. i'm willing to bet that they knew long before the song was released what kind of reaction they'd get from it, but went ahead anyway, much like with films like mega shark vs giant octopus and birdemic.

I put this on.... got to the first chours.... stuck epic music in for two hours to clear my ears from this rubbish..... it like the worst song ever XD

But i don't agree with people slagging her off like that XD

I don't want to be mean....but I have to say it! Dang, this is terrible! >.<

What I think is the worse part, is her attempt at mouthing her lyrics...

A friend of mine told me about this video last week and I decided to watch it.
It's not good, but I don't think it's as bad as the hype made it out to be. And I don't think she deserves all the hate she's been getting over one song either.

I just read the comments people left for her...just horrible. They made her cry and she's just a kid. >.>

She had to pick Friday or an adult themed song. She said she wasn't read for the other song, so she had to pick Friday. Well now I say "go her" for not falling to pressure and singing a song 10-15 years older than herself.

Apparently, she's already writing up a follow-up to Friday.

She's now famous for all the wrong reasons. If this is what a 13-year-old spurts out, I truly don't believe kids should be in the industry at that age. I'm a believer in being older and having experienced life a bit more to write a truly good song. Look at Adele, she's a brilliant songwriter and came into the industry at 19. A much better age if you ask me.

If Rebecca Black had been older and came with a more mature song, then perhaps she wouldn't have been getting this backlash. But oh well, she's going to end up being half liked for the tweens and half hated for those who have heard this crap over and over before.

hm... I wonder what people would have said about Aaron Carter back then.

did youtube even exist when the backstreet boys were popular

edit: no, youtube was founded in 2005. That's pretty funny, I couldn't imagine an internet without youtube.

rebecca black didn't write it, she just performed it.

Yeah, that's also true. I don't blame anyone for not watching the interview all at once... I watched it all in pieces myself, but the video does say that the producers were looking for some talent to try an auto-tuner with.

Or something like that

For the first few seconds I actually thought the video was a joke, something by college humor or some shit. Tbh it doesn't sound incredibly different from other pop songs out there, the lyrics are just exceptionally stupid.

The funny thing is I'm sure one day even she will probably look back and laugh at how bad it is.

How dare you. That was an excellent film. :mokken:

Saturday? :wacky:

I wonder if she'll actually put out a full on CD, or if she'll be a one hit wonder with this song. :hmmm:
