Resident Evil Outbreak

Stephen had followed the two children into the shop and watched as the boy began to blockade the door, he headed into the kitchen area to check things out, on his way past he turned on the coffee machine, he took a quick search around the kitchen and then made himself a latte.

he had holstered his M9 by now and had strode through to the sitting area with his latte, "the coffee machine is on if you want one kid" Stephen announced to the boy, it was obvious the young girl didn't want one due to her response as they entered the store. Stephen sat down and pulled his knife from it's sheath and stabbed it into the table by it's blade, he glanced around at the boy and smirked "Just in case" he muttered with a smile

Michael along with two other officers closed the gates, and soon enough dozens of arms of the undead on the the other side tried to grab the police officers, who kept shooting at them.

Michael told for a few officers to stay near the main entrance door and to keep shooting at the zombies because he wasn´t sure if the gate was going to hold them.

"Quick, we need to activate the shutter system of the RPD, that will stop them from getting inside from the windows!"

Michael quickly ran inside the RPD to activate the electronic shutter system.

Stephen grabbed the ear piece for the radio from his pocket and slid it into his ear, he changed the channel to the RCPD's channel "is anyone still alive over there or have the undead hoards slaughtered you?" he questioned as he stood up and walked towards the open curtains to survey the surrounding area.

after his quick check, Stephen walked over and grabbed his knife, slotting it into it's sheath he grabbed his coffee and took a sip of it, "that is some gooooood coffee" he announced the the two kids.

OOC: A short one, just to keep it going

Her breathing was ragged, but Hild was good. Fred was gone, lying on his back, strugglign to gasp for air. He was just not trained for such extreme and close fighting. He was just a beat officer. Hild had wanted to look for kumi, but if she was the one covering them from the second floor, she still had a job to do shooting zombies. Only one left to look for was the officer that seemed to be in charge.

Heya. Shit seemed to have hit the fan eh? What now? We're pretty much stuck here and our own chopper seems to have disappeared. There is the Umbrella guys, but I don't expect much to be honest.

Stephen looked at the kids and thought back to his Umerella traininghis mind raced back to his instructor ~when a bio weapon has been released, don't stay with anyone who could slow you down, it will get you killed~ Stephen shook his head and looked at the two children "I Can't leave them" he thought to himself Morally it was wrong, but he wanted to survive, he had to survive.

Striding back into the room, away from the windows, he looked at the two children once again and took a large mouthful of his coffee. "I'm going to check the perimiter" he informed them, he then exited out of the side door out into the mall. as he shut it he ran his hand across his face "Don't look back" he announced as he pulled his handgun and tourch from his holster and belt.

he then proceeded further into the mall. . .

(OOC: Sorry for the Late post. I love how you just ran away Dark Valefor :P)

"I'm going to check the perimiter"

Josh awoke in the night as he heard the sound of the man's voice. he then heard footsteps but couldn't make them out much longer. He rubbed his eyes, once, then twice, then found that he and Melissa were the only two in the coffe place. "Wha? Where did he go?"

Melissa lay nearby sleeping soundly. Josh examined her face, it was soft and pale. She was a child, helpless and somewhat useless. Josh would save her. He stood and looked out at the dark mall. It was eriee at nighttime. He glanced over through the glass and as soon as he did that a zombie's undead face ran smack into the glass of the store. "Ah!" Josh gasped as he stumbled back.

"What's happening?" Melissa asked as she groggily awoke from her slumber.

Undead zombies had surrounded them. Josh began to think to himself. Meditation was good thinking. He had to think up a tactical soultion for escape. A crowd of zombies were beginning to form around the coffee shop. Josh thought about his parents, the way out of the city...Just then in a flash he grabbed a chair from the coffee shop. "EEEEK!" went the little girl named Melissa, frightened out of her mind.

Josh tossed the chair towards a window on the side and the glass shattered. "Come on!" Josh shouted at her as he grabbed the little girl's hand and jumped through the window while pulling Melissa through also.

Josh then ran through the mall, the crowd of the undead followed him. "Wait! Use this!" Melissa cried as she carried his backpack and handed Josh his shotgun.

Josh took it and kept running towards the food court. He wanted to shoot the crowd down, but he didn't have enough ammo. They would have to run for now. "Get behind the counter!" Josh commanded as he and the girls jumped behind a nearby food place at the food court.

They ducked down low, just hoping they wouldn't get caught.

Stephen headed through the mall, away from the food court, he entered a sports gear shop and began 'browsing' for something he could use. he holstered his handgun but kept his torch in hand he grabbed a baseball bat and swung it a couple of times, "it would work as a weapon" he muttered then he heard a groan and footsteps behind him, he spun around and welted the Zombie in the head, causing the wooden bat to snap. Stephen looked at the remains of the broken bat and dropped it, "Oopse" he then noticed the zombie was still moving "Fuck sake" he muttered as he stomped on the Zombies head causing brain to spew everywhere, including his clothes "can't a guy catch a break!!" Stephen shouted as he headed out of the sports store and towards the closest male clothes store.

he was browsing and found a white sleeveless T-shirt and a pair of black jeans he got changed quickly and looked at his new attire in a mirror "dude, you look like a civilian, for the first time in years" he muttered as he spun around and headed out of the shop and began looking around.
