Resident Evil Outbreak

Stephen strode throught the halls ofthe apartment building, as he checked every room, he checked out of the window to see if the ground level was clear, Sadly the Zombies had taken most of the City. "Shit" Stephen muttered under his breath, he headed up the stairs to the fifth floor, and kicked open a door.

A Zombie burst from behind the door and following a loud gunshot and a flash of light, the Zombie hit the floor dead. Stephen smirked "Pathetic walking god damn creature" he muttered before heading to the main room, he looked around, opening cabinates and draws, looking for anything he could use, sadly there was nothing he could use.

OOC: Tipsynaruto sorry if i wasn't clear but i'm already in the frontline as well. So i can be the officer you tapped. Kumi is a girl right? And Hild is a man or a girl?

Michael was already focused on front when someone touched him, he looked behind to meet officer Kumi, she seemed a bit overwhelmed by the situation but still she kept a tight grip on her weapon. Michael himself understood her feeling, he felt like he was about to face his own mortality and that gave him chills. But he had to say something to her.

"Officers Hild and Kumi, glad to have you joining us we need every good shooter on the force avaiable. Besides those handguns to you have any other weapons? We need all heavy firepower in front."

OOC: Both girls. Kumi is a RPD officer and Hild is STARS. Kumi holds a SIG 550 rifle while Hild has a M90 shotgun.

"Officers Hild and Kumi, glad to have you joining us we need every good shooter on the force avaiable. Besides those handguns to you have any other weapons? We need all heavy firepower in front."

Heavy firepower would be me. I'm packing a M90 shotgun, so ill go up close. Kumi here, i think will do much better being mid ranged and picking them off early with her rifle.

Hild could feel the tension in Kumi. In her spare time, she had searched up her junior's background and found out that she was of a little princess background. Herself, on the other hand was from the slums. Tough situations were not knew for her, but it would be best to let Kumi slowly adjust to the recent events and conditions.

In any case, any words on extraction or help? We got some more guys inside to take care of any that might sneak in at the back, but i dont like the idea of being cornered on the helipad if no-one is coming to help.

OOC: SOrry for the OOC Post but I'm still struggling to interpret that last post you made with me in it Tipsy. (Yeah, I'm a bit slow these past couple of days....)

OOC: Ok got that.

As usual Hild kept her usual "badass" attitute, but that might just be what they needed to encourage the other police officers.

Hild:"In any case, any words on extraction or help? We got some more guys inside to take care of any that might sneak in at the back, but i dont like the idea of being cornered on the helipad if no-one is coming to help."

Michael was exitant to respond at first, but there was no use in avoiding it any longer...

"According to officer Rita...the helicopter responsible for the extraction of the civilians departed more than an hour ago and as not yet returned. So far the heliport is safe,as long as we can keep these monsters at bay there should be no problem. Also reports say that all the major exit points of the city have been blocked by US military. And on top of it all we spotted a few helicopters dropping a lot of soldiers in different parts of the city, they were not standard military as they had an Umbrella corporation logo on them, however they were heavily armed and as far as we know they will help us contain the situation."

He stopped talking to breath, and grabbed a megaphone so that every officer could hear him.

"You hear that guys? We can still win this thing. With the aid of the military and that Umbrella corps unit we can still safe the city. Now liste up closely, don't panic as soon as you spot the undead in the horizon, instead await for them to get close enough to open fire, myself and my teammate Hild will give the firing order. As for our snipers as soon as you spot them fire at them and try to hit them in the head, it seems to be their weak spot. The barricades that we have set up will slow them down a bit, so take that opportunity to lock on your targets and give them everything you got. If they get too close...start backing up slowly, remember our objective is to hold our ground until the military comes. Good luck guys i'm counting on all of you!"

He gave the megaphone to another officer, hopefully his little speech and boosted their moral. They are all scared including Michael, but at least they had some confidence in themselfes, the most important thing was to never give up the will to fight and live.

He then turned his attentions on officer Kumi.

"I remember reading your report file, you're a good shooter, no matter how bad the situation i'm counting on you too. Remember myself and every other officer in the RPD have your back, just like i know that you got mine. Let's survive this thing together."

For a moment he was going to give her the thumbs up, but that would have been a little too much, what was important was that she could calm herself down a bit.

As the moans grew loader...the police force was finally ready to meet it's fate.

Stephen exited the Flat and headed to the roof, looking around from this vantage point he glanced down, he could see the Umberella Unit in the distance, they were heading for the mall aswell "ah shit, just my luck" Stephen muttered to himself as he walked to the roof's edge, he looked at the building next to it, and there was a two metre gap, he took a couple of Steps back and holstered his weapon. "here we go" he muttered as he sprinted to the edge and leapt, aiming for the building.

as he landed, he rolled forward, unholstering his weapon as he rolled, as his feet met the floor once again, he stopped his roll and pointed his beretta forward, he could see no Zombies, but there was an umberella Sniper crossing the rooftops so he could snipe down at the beasts ahead of his team, Stephen holstered his gun and snuck up behind the Umberella soldier, pulling his knife from it's sheath, Sneaking up behind the soldier Stephen slashed his throat, blood spraying out of the jugular vein.

Stephen sheathed his knife once again and took the man's handgun ammo, it would fit in his gun as they had the same weapon, he then took the man's radio, and realised it was linked onto the channel that the survivors at the police station were using, the Umberella agent's were listening in on the situation.

"are they here to help?" Stephen questioned quietly as he set up the radio, clipping it to the back of his jeans and sliding the earpiece into his ear. he pushed the button and began talking to whoever had an earpiece in the police station "this Is Stephen Hownam, a survivor in the city, i am heading to the shopping mall, if you have anyone to spare, i could use a bit of support searching for survivors, one of the umberella Squads are already on route but i don't trust them as far as i can throw them" Stephen informed them before heading into the building he was currently on and heading for the ground floor.

OOC: Hold on a second...why would you kill an Umbrella Mercenary? They're good guys not bad guys. They were there to rescue civilians only a few of them known as the supervisors, like Nicholai, were there to actually collect data of the bio weapons activity. I don't think you should have killed them at all, most of the were good guys who died to protect civilians.

OOC: Sorry for the long wait, I got confused and thankfully Tipsy got me out of it.

DJ followed the officers to the barricades, where they conversed about the situation, what heat they're packing and the plan. DJ paid attention to some of it, but would rather look out for the zombies looking to kill them. He was scared yes, but he wasn't going to back down yet.

Hearing the moans of the zombies, he decided to wait until they get close enough to be brought down by DJ's UMP-45 SMG.

Josh ran for his life northwards towards the hospital where his parents worked. He had snuck out of the police station. There was no way the survivors there would survive if they stayed in the same spot. Josh hustled up the street, the shotguin he had taken ready to aim and fire. He had packed enough ammo he thought his bag could carry and had ran for it. Thinking in his mind. "The success rate is lower the more people are involved. Since there is one person, I shall survive..."

The sky began to darken and Josh's vision was getting difficult. Though he had passed many undead corpses, he had not wasted his ammo on them, since there was no way they could catch him. He spotted an empty convenience store across from the gas station and began to jog towards it. Josh tried the door, but it wouldn't budge. He climbed in through a broken window. The shop was quiet and the flurescent lightas on the ceiling flickered on and off.

Josh scampered through the isles stuffing a flashlight and ducttape in his backpack. He found snacks and began to stock some of them in his already bulging bag. it would be hard to lug all of this to the hospital, but he knew he could do it. Suddenly, A shuffle cam from his right. He stood down quietly not saying a word and began to edge his way back to the broken shops window. As he did this he heard a maon and three adults stood before him, all undead. "Gah!" Josh gasped at the rotten smell of the corpses moving slowly toward him.

He aimed the shotgun and shot. The blast sent his arms jerking upwards. He had never shot a gun before, but he would do what he had to do in order to survive. POW! He shot one right in the head. POW! POW! He had gotten two more in the chest. "Thats the end of that." he said, out of breath, his heart pounding.

Josh began to get out his medical kit. He neede another sho to keep his heart at bay. "The end of what?" asked a little girl from behind him.

OOC: My character doesn't know that they are good guys, and also he has 'issues' with Umberella, as he was shot 3 times by a higher up in the corporation, and he killed the guy to take his ammo. After al he did only kill one of them.

Eron awoke amidst a mound of rubble and bloody body parts. Her head aching from what appeared to be a blow from a blunt weapon and noticed a small amount of blood collecting on her shirt, quickly releasing she was wounded Eron ripped the shirt around the wound and treated it with a bandage she had in her pouch of medical equipment.

As she finished treating her wounds she found her radio ear piece lying beside her, "Anybody out there? Baby are you still alive?" Eron spoke calmly as she surveyed her surroundings.

She had no memory of ever leaving the RCPD building and she recognised her surroundings of that of her home town.

She finally decided that it was time for her too tell any of the other about her split personality and if the other side of her had injured anyone she was truly sorry and wished to find and repay it to them somehow if they where alive still.

Deciding that it was safer on the move Eron made her way over to a 4x4 sat several hundred meters away from her at the side of the road, she drew her pistols and cautiously approached the open door.

As she got closer the smell of rotting flesh was fresh in the air as the devoured remains of the man who had once been the owner of the vehicle.

"Come in anyone in my unit, OVER!" The signal began to crackle so she ended the transmission.

OOC: Yeah we have waited long enough...

Finally they began to see a large mass of people coming up Ennerdale street, but something was wrong, they were more then 1,000 thousand, had the undead rate increased so much? Michael was shocked he could not even count their number, but they had at least doubled in number.

Police officer:"Wuahhh...they're coming fire fire!!!!"

And so it began...Michael did not even gave a signal, the panic from one single officer was enough for all others to open fire, there was no turning back now. He quickly pointed his sub-machine gun and tried pointing at the nearest undead and opened fire.

The barricades wouldn't stop them, there were too many of them. The snipers were doing a great job hitting the undead in the head.

Police officer:"Come and get me!"

Police officer 2:"They're everywhere!!!!"

Select Police force member:"Don't give up!!!"

One by one the undead falled, pieces of rotten flesh and blood filled the ground, but some of them kept crawling towards the police force, how could they be so resistant? Michael wondered this as he changed his machine gun magazine and kept firing. He had alredy taken out twelve undead by his count, but they kept coming.

Was there no end to it?

OOC: XD 1000 thousand? as in 100000000? That, is alot.

Hild stood at the froefront of the line, even a bit further. She was S.T.A.R.S and she was hard to the core. Her pride will not allow her to scurry from an enemy while there are civilians in need. In fact, should a civilian die before she does, then she fails in her duty. Pumping her shotgun, Hild shot the shell in between two zombie's head. Each had half of its face ripped off by the pellet.

C'mon, you freaks!

Fred and George have left their post from the front door of the Station and joined in on the front line and began pouring ammo into the monsters.

Steady! Ammo. Watch your ammo!

It was beginning to become tiring, almsot like one of the endless zombie games she had played recently. Fight till you die. By now, with no time to reload her shotgun, Hild had let it drop and hang on its sling while she wielded a TMP. A clack followed by a curse froze Hild's blood. George had his MP5 jammed and fromt eh corner of her eyes, she saw him tugging at the cocking lever, trying to unjam the thing when a zombie lunged at his legs. With ease, George butted the thing in the back before curb stomping its head in. With a cheery grin, he unjammed the gun and nodded at Hild before another three zombies jumped him. Hild took one out while George fended off the other, but ti was too late. The zombie bit deep into George's neck. With swift efficiency, Hild put threee bullets into the zombie's head and three into George, splattering his brain. Better to kill him than to turn him into a living corpse. Salvaging his body for ammo, Hild continued to fight the losing battle.

Kumi sat on the mid lines, on top of a truck. With her SIG rifle, she carefully popped zombie's head from afar. It wasn't too hard, as most were slow and her gun was good. However, her stomach became more and more squeamish as she saw the wave of zombies approach the front line. An empty chamber meant that Kumi had to reload. Taking her eyes off her scope for a second, by the time Kumi looked back in, George wason the ground and Hild had put a burst into his head. A cold shiver went straight down Kumi's back and her trigger finger slackened its pressure. She was going into shock, but with enough will power, she slammed her head on the metal roof, hard. It cleared her head a bit and Kumi brought her scope back to her eye. Now was not the time to break. She would be ashamed to face Hild if she did.

OOC: I was thinking more between 2,000 to 3,000. Since Racoon City as over 100,000 citizens.

They were getting closer and closer, one of the police officers was caught and killed, Michael witnessed George being shot by Kumi, she had made a cold heart decision perhaps there was something they could do to help him besides killing him, and for a second Michael wondered if she would do the same thing to him if he got bitten.

There was no time to think about it, as some of the undead were only a few feet away from the front line, Michael then spotted one of the police cars pouring gasoline to the floor, this was a golden chance. He screamed as loud as he could.

"Anybody got a lighter!? Hurry!!!!"

It was hard to hear his own voice between all the fire shots, but luckily form him officer Sanchez who was standing close by heard him and threw him her lighter, thank god she smoked.

"(Please god make this work!)"

Michael prayed to himself as he ignited the lighter and threw it towards the floor wet with gasoline, and just as the lighter landed a sea of flames began to rise, engulfing all of the unsuspecting undead who stood near it. At least two hundred of them had been caught in the fire and were now burning into ashes, the smell of burned flesh filled the air. But to all of the police officers amazement, someone of the undead kept walking towards them even though they were burning.

Michael once again held his sub-machine gun up and kept firing, trying to hit them in the head, overall all the police officers were giving their best to block the path of the undead, but there was just no end to it...

Eron had driven for hours and hours until she was woken fully up by a lorry spinning out of control, horn blaring trying to warn any others in the way.

Eron slammed on the brakes and spun 180 degrees and stopped looking out the window she saw the truck driver being devoured by a zombie who had obviously been his truck mate as they both wore the same jacket and cap.

Eron also noticed the fact she was a short drive from the edge of Raccoon City and decided to head into the city and scan the streets for survivors.

On her way into the city she wound down her window to try and rid the cabin of the 4x4 of the stench of the dead, as she did so she heard the distinct sound of several sub-machine guns firing along with the odd sig rifle shots and headed in their general direction.

As she rounded the corner of the street she saw the mob of zombies all hoarding towards a wall of flame, beyond which must be the source of the gun fire.

Eron knew the number of zombies and the number of individual guns he heard meant they where out gunned as, she knew from past experiences that even human mobs will keep surging forward when their allies fall, and it was no different with the zombies now as the odd one here and there fell another three where there to take its place in the onslaught.

Deciding she could do with the company she wound up the window drew her pistols ready, and flattened the accelerator to the floor, kicking it into gear the truck lurched forwards as the tires bit the road and the sound of crunching and squelching filled Eron's ears as she drove flat out through the mob towards the flames.

Flattening the zombies as she went she managed to make it through the flames and park up just before she saw the survivors. She kicked out the sun roof and began to run across the backs of the hoard as she made her way to the others.

Holding her arms in the air and yelling "I'm with you guys, Im Eron King S.T.A.R.S Bravo Team here to help and if any of you have any spare grenades or a few rounds shoot out the tank on the truck as I had gathered some more spare tanks of fuel for the road. It should take some of the bastards out."

Eron kicked the head of the last zombie at the front of the ever tightening wall as she leapt over and landing with her pistols held round and behind her, she began firing blindly at the enclosing zombies.

OOC: I know.:busta: i was being an idiot. Btw, Hild is the one on the front line and the STARS. Kumi is the one on the truck sniping. the one that shot George was Hild.

The flames went up uncomfortably close to Hild and Fred. As much as the heat was a bit worrisome, they continued dilligently in their determination in gunning down the advancing hoard. Hild saw Eron from Bravo pop out of the truck which crashed through the zombies and was running for the barricade. They needed as many officers, especially STARS, in order to survive. With only her pistols, Eron was going to need more cover. Jumping onto the hood of an abandoned car, which now acted as a barricade, Hild ordered the beat officer to let loose on any zombies behind Eron while herself laid waste to those he missed.

C'mon. Bloody hell. Get over here!

Besides the fact that three was better than two, George's MP 5 was here. The barricade could do with another automatic gun in its defences.

Josh walked slowly down the street with his shotgun at the ready. The little girl he had met in the convenience store followed shyly behind. Her name was Melinda and she was about ten years old. Josh had convinced her to follw him, he couldn't just let her die. "So where are we going?" she asked as she carried Josh's backpack.

"We're getting out of here." whispered Josh as he signaled for her to keep it quiet.

A low moan came from far away and shots could be heard in the darkening sky. "I told them to get out while they could..." Josh whispered as he and Melinda watched out for undead corpses in the streets.

"It's gettig dark." said the little girl. "Can we go somewhere to stay for the night?"

"Well it would be a good idea..." mumbled Josh. "Lets go to the mall up ahead."

The two approached the mall cautiously and prepared to enter. "Remember to stay close to me." warned Josh.

Melinda was carrying the equipment, even his medicine. He would have to protect them both with the limited ammo he had left...

As Stephen booted the ground floor door nearly off it's hinges he pointed his gun out of the doorway, checking for any Zombies, there were non thankfully, but he did notice a police cruiser in the alleyway he had exited into. "Great" he muttered as he walked over to it, he broke the drivers side window and reached in, pulling the shotgun from the center columb and cocking it. "lets lock and load" he muttered as he slung the shotgun over his houlder and un-holstered his M9 once again.

he jogged out onto the Street that lead to the Mall and noticed that there was a young boy and younger girl up the Street, the boy held a shotgun and the girl carried a bag. Stephen ran towards them, and pulled out a flashlight, he pointed the light and barrel at the young boy "Drop the gun!" he announced clearly, hitting the button on the side of the laser sight, turning it on, the little red dot appeared on the Boy's back "Have you been Bitten?" Stephen added just as firmly.

"Drop the gun!"

Josh turned slowly to see a man pointing a gun at him. "Do I look I've been bitten?" he said in a frustrated tone. "How do I know you haven't been infected?"

Josh did not drop his shotgun. He knew that if the man pulled the trigger he would have to lunge to the right and shoot back. "Get close to the door." Josh whispered to the little girl.

She obeyed and shuffled closely to the door of the mall. "We are only trying to escape!" said Josh in a clam tone. "I haven't been bitten as far as I know of. We're trying to escape."
