But spells such as berserk and haste are automatically deactivated upon death, why does it work differently with regen?
 
Interesting question. It is probably a bug in the system with healing spells.
 
Because for the spell to end, a a turn must pass, that's why the spell icons remain during the first turn of death. Since Regen automatically heals the character, the one turn requirement for the spell to disappear is not met, therefore the spell does not expires.
 
I have been battling in the RPG and I have noticed that whenever the server is busy and it becomes 'unbusy' that all of my spell effects are gone apart from regen. Know what's up with that?
 
It's probably the same deal as the problem mentioned earlier, what with Regen sticking around no matter what the circumstances. xD
 
Exactly, it could be that since the other spells are not turn healing spells, when the server gets busy, the other spells that are not turn-based healing disappear since they assume your character is dead...

id love for that to be fixed so that when the person dies, itll disappear because in some battles that i go against other members, they last for hours because of it...
 
Hmm, maybe if you make the effects similar to that of fira or blizzaga maybe that will fix it? Since the above spells disappear once the target is dead can't that effect be put into regen?
 
Now because the spell heals the character, not allowing a turn to pass for the spell to expire. The other spells do not expire immediately, they just expire after the turn passes when as soon as they are killed.
 
But when a spell effect, such as berserk disappears it does so in mid turn (in the case of a dual wield attack) yet with regen the effect remains active after death whereas attack spells do not. They fade the second hp hits 0.
 
Not really, as is keeps the target alive, preventing death, and it can revive the target multiple times until the effect wears off. I don't know how you could do that anyway, with spell effects and all.
 
Ah alright, so will this remain 'unfixable' for the time being, or is this an inevitable part of its programming?

I'm not sure if this is a problem but it is pretty weird so I'm posting it.

I'm an assassin training in the caves aganist night elves, kobold assassins and shades and every time I increse my speed so it doubles theres there speed increases so I can't get in two hits. Its bloody anoying.
