I dont know what the trigger is, but this has happened to me a few times now. When a spell is cast (happened with fira and blizzara so far) it doesn't say that the spell has missed, but it also doesn't do anything. Just says i cast the spell.
 
I've noticed a slight problem with the knight statue trigger (or whichever one gives you the tainted sword and the training sword/shield) when I was playing about with them in my attempts to get to the warrior tunnels I ended up getting them again. Normally it just replaces the current weapon of that type I have (or at least in past RPGs) but instead I have recieved another set, is this meant to happen?
 
Well I reached Hashashins training Ground I don't know if it's the last place an assassin could reach because I can't travel further, but I haven't seen any monster in it, and it's Hashashins Training Ground :gasp: so is there anything wrong or it should be like this?

I'd like to add also that in Tunnel of Famine 4 you can't encounter Neo Shadow, only Neo Shadow 2 and Shadow Knight

That's because you can no longer stack spells. For instance, if you cast Fira, then Blizzara, it will nullify Fira along with Blizzara. It was introduced to balance the classes, even though the miss chance is a little high. :/
 
Jules: Yes since those items aren't that strong. Just consider them as a shop where you can get an item for 0 gil.

Kei: It does appears, although rarely.

Gabranth: I'll check the miss percentage settings later. So....are you happy with the new spell? :wacky: I am...although I am not a mage....>__>
 
Hmm, at the moment Fira is stronger and more useful. Btw, what's the max level for Flare?
 
Gab, the miss percentages will not be changed. As for Flare, I should check that out.
 
I never said anything about changing it....just it seems to miss more than 20% of the time, regardless of what the chance is listed as; currently 21% at Lv5.
 
Flare is ok, it is a one turn spell that can only reach a Max DMG of 150 (regardless of your MAG, so even if you have a Mag of 300 it will only do a max dmg of 150 :wacky:), so it will never possibly kill anyone (PVP) in one hit. Also there's the risk of missing.
 
For future reference concerning the NPCs at each of the entrances. There's only one correct combination of answers that will lead you inside the tunnels, so if you hit it wrong and get to a convo that does nothing, triggers a battle, or gives/take items, then you obviously have to start all over again and try a different combination.
 
I have fought with the boss in Assassin area ToF4-Sashshashin at LV32 and he was just a piece of cake to that level. It did not cause me even a little trouble, just a lil bit more time to fill off his HP.
I just suggest to make the bosses a little bit tougher then we'll enjoy the game (but not impossible)


One question:
I have three Osminium Ores but I don't remember if I have got any of them.
Does anyone know where can I get them?

I have checked All the monsters in all the areas I have access to, but none of them have Osminium Ore as dropping ore nor item
 
That's odd... I managed to get them in a battle with minotaurs and harpys, why not check your battle log things?
 
Its because Osminium components were removed due to the Orbs; which were overpowered. However, since they weren't deleted, they remained in our inventories.
 
Only the orbs were removed for now because someone ( ahem) would whore them to make weapon for sale :monster: And having a weapon with 150 str isn't fair at the moment.

Wait, so what happened tot he Ores? It says that can be found in a dim lighted places, which means that ToF4 for me. Is that possible that I've obtained them by beating the boss?
 
If that is so... How come I keep getting ores? (I've already made a weapon and stuff) when I battle in W3 I get them fairly frequently.
