RPG Inferno Suggestions Thread

Thats werid cause it's either desert of souls 1 or 5 and the mobs drop them like crazy. I got like 8 of them and saw the 9,999 weilding skill and was like wtf. I'm not gonna be able to use that any time soon.

yea, i have collected a couple Keyblades from drops and found it a bit strange aswell.

Also i think a good addition to the RPG would be to unlock the attribute points, this would be a good addition for players who have reached the end of the opened areas and grow bored, and if they were able to change their stats then they would be able to swap between warrier, mage and assasin to see how it feels to go another way, without being forced to get reset and level up all over again.

Mmm-hm. Or they could remove almost all their points, equip weaker equipment, and readjust the stats as you go along, beating the areas over again without the pain of leveling up for many hours, especially when the RPG is lagging... :wacky:

Indeed that is also another view of it.
but either way, i would love to see the unlocked stats, as i myself have made a couple mistakes (like raising Eva instead of Def) and would like to change them whilst keeping the character i have's level and gear and stuff

We will grant the option of altering stats later on by unlocking them.

OKay then, it wont be to much later on will it? I'm kinda hoping to solve my lack of def problem sooner rather than have to live with it for longer

Patience is a virtue, as Damon would say. :monster: My extra 100 MP for the time being isn't bad anyways, I can work on spells a bit more to get my Arcane up for if I feel like being a Mage for a while whenever the stats are unlocked.

Just depends on how things are going in the RPG for me at the time, I'd want a good amount of Arcane before I change to being a Mage for a while.

It is like a Final Fantasy Tactics game, you could freely change from being a Knight (Warrior), to Black/White Mage. I guess that would be like a Red Mage, using both offensive spells and defensive/healing spells as well. :P

Please forgive my double post, but I want this idea to get noticed, it won't if there hasn't any post in it for nearly a week... >_>

I just thought of a new item (equipment) category to have for the Arms area, and hope you guys like it: Materia!

You could have Materia like HP Plus or MP Plus that would increase HP or MP by a certain amount. I guess you can't give equipment modifiers that increase a stat by a certain percentage (HP +10% for example), huh? >.>

And could be Materia like MP Turbo, which would lower MP some, but give a nice boost to MAG, so what spells are casted, are strong.

There could maybe even be Gil Up or EXP Up Materia, eh? Or is that going a bit overkill? >.>

Speaking of new items, can an attackable item group be made for Feet? (Attack Boots, maybe?)

I was actually considering that option in an attempt to create a "Monk" like class. However, I was not sure whether or not it would be fine to venture into such boundaries seeing it would give a possibility to attack three times in a row (Boots, and each hand wearing a glove)

What about Materia? It could just be attached to arms, like Kadaj does in Advent Children (remember?). :wacky:

Just think of the possibilities. :monster:

Edit: Okay, guys, you seriously have to lower the miss rate of those -kaja spells, I just learned them, and guess what? Tarukaja was successful 1 out of 10 times...I counted every miss, it missed 9 out of 10 times, that's ninty friggin' percent! >_<

I'd say you all just went a little over board with the spell miss chances, stat boosting spells traditionally would never miss, or CURE spells for that matter. -__-

But if you want those stat boosting spells to have some miss chance, fine, but could you lower it from that 60% that acts like 90%? >_>'

Maybe like 30-40%, then it is 20-30% miss rate when mastered (max level should be 6, if it isn't already).

I was wondering if Pets could be made available in the next set of area's opened, as personally i am at level 39, [nearing level 40] and by this level in the past two RPG's you could have a pet already, so i was wondering if we could get pets soon.

Well, they've taken the things the RPG lacks into account with the next areas, just keep that in mind and look forward to the next areas.

Oh yeah, and guinea pig Axel has a pet while no one else besides RPG Directors do/could have a pet. Frustrated as hell about it. -__-

I didn't make those spells. You should ask Damon since he most likely is to help you on Spells and Enchantments.

And the purpose of the Pet is? Yes let me guess. Allow players to use that pet to cover their weaknesses whilst the player can now focus on the commonly abused stats: STR, SPD, and DEX. Pets will be available, but they will have other roles rather than just being a simple Mage/Healer clone.

Yes, we are adding stuff one step at a time.

Only STAFF has been considered to serve as "Beta Testers", and this time Axel was chosen due to her knowledge and reliability. So there's no need to be "frustrated" about the matter. Even I, as a Director, do not have "pets" simply because I do not like them. Lastly, this decision was agreed by most of the Directors and it will help us to have a better opinion of how the difficulty in the areas can be balanced.

Even though Damon does have a pet to test things out himself, I guess he's pretty busy just with working on modifying the areas and monsters just so, so I can see where despite having a pet, having someone else help him out with testing would save time and trouble, just that at this point, no one can really consider challenging Axel's RPG Character to a PvP battle... >_<

Not to mention being a level I can't keep up with against these weaker monsters, but that's okay, staff member perks gonna get the best of me in this RPG I guess. :gasp:

Not "always" :wacky:
Who knows :smartass:

FFS, you'll get the same levels when the next area is opened. :ffs:

And people had plenty of chance to challenge me to a PvP before I become a tester, they just never took the chance to, so why they would suddenly want to now is beyond me.

Juli, is there anyway to make a monk type class WITHOUT having three attacks in a row? I think a monk class would be quite cool.
