Oh yeah, that reminds me.

I've come up with a name for the capital city of Skylerk. I've decided on Zyklon, and I've talked with Ringo about it already. Do you think this should the name of the capital city?
 
Does have a steam punk ring to it, but personally, doest quite seem "capitol city" for me.
 
Sounds good to me.

Also... the right mood is always important when RPing! It helps a lot. So does music...

Though, it's bad to get too into it. I currently have a character who switches from hero and defender of the weak to pyschotic, bloodthirsty, sadistic maniac killer, depending on my mood.

I'm tempted to do that with Shadow here.... but then I would have to edit his personality.

EDIT: also, I'm waiting on shadow now...

Though what I should do, since I'm merely awaiting Squee to return.... and nothing else really.

Oh well. If you really want me to post, I could always just have those gang members I beat up come back so I can kick their ass again to pass the time.

I think Zyklon is fine for a name too.

I'mma have my post up in a little bit, it should've been sooner but I had a nightmare day from hell today and I only just sat down to work on finishing it up :ffs:

EDIT: Also, I'll be mentioning my character picking up a few extra guns to take along, but I haven't decided any specifics about them yet so for now I'll just describe them ambiguously until I can figure it out :hmmm:

Im just trying to see how i could squeeze into your little venture...

I had in mind that id get Squee to make me the gun and since he is going with you guys, id tag along since itll take him a bit to make it.

Hows that sound Sqyee and Gamingway?

Now THIS is a Steampunk ship to its truest core! XD, though not slick enough for my liking. Could be the Skylerkian navy though.

Cool airship design :D Very military-looking :hmmm: And yeah, I meant just regular guns XD And that plan sounds good to me also :)
 
Looks like a true by the book Steampunk Battleship design, considering the number of weapons it can use for a full broadside.

I also saw various other ship designs, including a possible Light Cruiser and Aircraft Carrier design. :hmmm:
 
Sounds fine to me, any idea what kind of gun you have in mind? Rapid fire? Power? Or pretty explosions?
 
I actually really liked that picture. This is what i had in mind when i made Kaufman and Kuugen, my RP characters. I had imagined them ship jumping when they close in for full broadsides.

For the gun, im thinking rapid overwhelming fire whilst having relatively decent accuracy, like a assault rifle of sort. I have an image i want so ill post here later after i gather the details and pics.
 
Yea. Good design, but to me, it looked a bit imbalanced, the head, but its good.


Alright. For the first gun Cuclainn would commission, i would like a assault rifle firing ballistic rounds.

The shape i want is this. With a short scope as seen in this, and a C clip. Spruce it up so that its even more steampunk.

Hey Tipsy, i love the Idea for the Skylerkian Fleet, as they look as though they could both function as ocean ships instead of their primary use as Airships, if needs be. and there are more than just one ship there, so you can see what their other ships would look like

Personality: He is a free spirit that likes to understand the workings of nature. He could be perfectly happy living in the forests, but he chooses not to because he is also fond of his own community. The way he speaks is also rather odd even to elves. If someone approached him and asked to go on a walk, he would look at them and say, "HA! Not never. If you travel with me, there be no foot walkin', just wind flyin'!" And if he had to bring bad news to someone, "The tides of fate bring a sorry bad story!" If someone were to stray from their believed destiny to help someone else, and it was too late, he would say something like, "Sorry lad, past late to help now, You're path most needs you." Also hunting without cause he would say, "You and this animal got no wrong quarrel." You get the point by now.

History: He was always nice as a boy, but he always wandered off into the woods. His parents worried about him because sometimes he would disappear for hours at a time, but he came back perfectly fine every time. While he was in the woods, he would watch the wildlife, and he went deeper inside the woods every time he went in there, but not once did he get lost.

When he was old enough to get a job, he still made sure he had enough exploration time. Even when he moved out, he began spending more time in the forests. He would sometimes catch wildlife just to set it free, but now he has a way with wildlife so that he can understand them and make the animal a non-hostile animal, and possibly even make it friendly. He has never allowed himself to be bound and limited by the powers of time

Weapons: He uses a shockingly large scythe, but despite it's size, it is almost weightless. He can swing this around with ease, but it is a very powerful weapon

Skills: He has perfected the ability to fly using the wind, but in team with this, he also has perfected the art of moving any air at his will to create wind, so he is never on short supply of wind in any climate. However, all his other magic arts are highly limited. The best he could do with his fire is make a campfire, and for water he would probably only be able to water the average flower garden. His earth magic is almost non-existent as well

he can lasso very well, having experienced it in the forests with vines.


I kinda half-assed the history, but if you want more, it'll have to wait til tomorrow then...
