Playstation Shin Megami Tensei

That's Persona, which is an SMT spin-off. xD

You only have half of Persona 2, BTW. :P Unless you have the Japanese 'Innocent Sin'.

I dont know if I have Innocent Sin. A special disk came with the game, got some anime trailer on it.

I heard about it and I really want to play it! A lot of people recommended it to me ;)

I'm saving up for it right now! Hopefully I'll get the box set with the soundtrack and mini art book :)

All copies come with the soundtrack and art book. You might hear it's a first print bonus, and while that's true there's only the first print and atlus has said they're not doing a second print.

I never played persona 2, but I do have the first one. I've played digital devil story 1&2, both excellent games.

Good news! I may be getting Persona 3 within the week! There's a copy really cheap at the local game store. ^^

DAMMIT! I want a UK release for this. But cause the characters have to shoot themselves in order to summon or something, it can be seen as BAD! Pain in the arse.

xD What people need to realize is that the evokers aren't guns... They just LOOK like guns. ^^ You can sorta tell they aren't guns... their barrels are too small, it seems... Compared to normal pistols.

Started playing persona 3 a couple days ago, i'm already 13 hours in, it's a really addicting game.

I'm a Yuko fan at this point.

Oh, you'll be a Yuko fan, until you realize you can date the lovely Mitsuru. <3

But, yeah. Persona 3 is incredibly addicting. I'm 56 hours into it right now, and I still have like, 3 months to go.

And the people at the ESCB (think thats their name, ones who license games) arent going to bother with little details like that. If it looks like a gun and the kids shoot themseleves, thats a no-no over here. It annoying as it looks stunning.

They need to STFU then... Persona 3 is gaming art. ^^ Plus, easy way to keep kiddies from getting it? High rating. Then, it's the parent's fault a kid gets their hands on it and decides to shoot themselves.

To be honest, telling them to stfu is pretty childish. If they decide the game isnt suitable for release here. then they wont release it. Plus Persona games were never released here as maybe the developers thought they wouldnt be popular. RPGs arent high market in Europe, its mainly racing and action games that make it over here.

I love you! Thats fab news! Its about time, seen the trailer a good while ago and wondered if we would get it! Super! Problem is, knowing my luck my copy of Lost Odssey wil show up day before and I wontknow which to play! Hope places like Game get it. I checked on their site awhile ago for future PS2 releases and I didnt see P3.

However, Ive just checked now, 10 days left!!

Site says its £25! Sold to me! But it says you get an art book when you preorder and buy from them. So I have to do thatin order to get the book? Others have said in this thread they got it regardless.

I've had experiences with GAME telling me that you generally need to pre-order it with the website in order to get the gifts like artbooks, which is a bugger if you don't have a card. The Samurai Warriors 2 artbook and Disgaea 2 Collectible were only available with online purchase.

Whats annoying is I want to trade some games in for it really. So I'd have to go down there to the store. 'll ask tommorrow if theyd get any in store.

Here, all copies come with the art book. Maybe over in Europe they decided to be arseholes and not give it to you.

Well really, I don't care if telling them to 'STFU' is childish. Deciding to censor/ban every damn thing is even MORE childish. :P Persona 3 is as much of a game as it is a beautiful piece of artwork. And you don't censor artwork, or else, that David statue would've had pants on it by now. xD

You'll go far in life then.

No, the game has to be ordered online in orde to get th artwork which does take the piss as you need a debit card (cash card or whatever you Americans call it), and storecard which costs £3 to set up!!! You cant exchange games online either of course and thats what I wanted to do. So looks like no artbook for me then.

Even if you don't get the artbook, you're not missing that much. I mean, it's nice to have and has some interesting stuff in it (mainly comments from the art director), but it doesn't have that much to it. The "Soundtrack" is really just a sampler, so you'll no doubt be wanting to get a hold of the full soundtrack either way. As long as you have the game you have everything you need.
