Bio: Growing up, Fratley was the son of Burmecian General Plitor, a gneral renown for his tactics, his fair judgements and his kind yet disciplined heart. Fratley always strived to follow in his father's footsteps.
When Fratley became old enough, he enlisted into the Burmecian military academy. While some chastized him at first because he was the general's son, he quickly proved himself far more skilled than the rest of the cadets. He earned their respect afterwards.
A year later, a new group of cadets were enetered into the academy. Among them was a lone female Burmecian. Over the period of a month, he saw her chastized by everyone, including the instructors. She showed a great deal of potential, but her instructors would always fault her for something, making sure that she was never good enough in order to try and crush her spirits and make her quit.
One night, three cadets decided to try and have their way with the young female cadet. While she managed to knock one of them out, the other two ganged up on her and knocked her down. But before they could do anything further, Fratley stepped in. He helped the female beat down her attackers. When the fight was over, she introduced herself to him as Freya Crescent
Fratley decided to support Freya, and after academy hours, he would take her with him to train. In time, not even the academy headmaster could deny her skill, and when the headmaster tried to oust her, Fratley's father stepped in and dismissed the headmaster from his post for sexual harrassment and replaced him.
Fratley and Freya graduated at the top of their respective classes. They were paired together on every mission they underwent and suceeded flawlessly each and every time. And during those long years together, they fell in love. On Freya's 19th birthday, Fratley took her to Cleyra and at the balcony overlooking the sandstorm and proposed to her.
But fate had other things in store. One year later, reports had started to come in from the various spies about the unusual growth of Alexandria and Lindblum's military forces. Worried that he might not be strong enough to protect his country, and desiring to find out what was going on, Fratley decided he needed to go out into the world and train. This time, alone. The king needed someone to protect Prince Puck, and Fratley could entrust the task to no one else than Freya. Feya begged him to stay, but he promised, several times, that he would return.
Fratley traveled the world, learning much about the various peoples of the world and learning new fighting styles along the way. But his journey was about to come to an abrupt end. When he reached Alexandria, he overheard Kuja, Brahne and General Beatrix go over plans to annihilate Burmecia and Cleyra. Kuja sensed Fratley's presence and sent Beatrix after him.
Out on the rooftop of the castle, Beatrix confronted Fratley, and an intense battle ensued. Both were evenly matched as far as skill, speed and strength. At the battle's climax, Fratley's lance sliced Beatrix's right eye, but Beatrix retaliated with her most powerful attack: Shock. The attack sent Fratley plummetting into the river below. The electricity of Beatrix's attack coupled with the impact with the water from a height of fifty feet, followed then by the lack of oxygen to his brain from the water wiped away his memories.
When Fratley came to, he was inside of an abandoned church, being looked over by two moogles, Prince Puck and Doctor Tot. He found that he could recall nothing, not even his own name. For him, it was if he was just born into the world, knowing how to do all of the basic functions of life, his body remembering all of his training and morals, yet his past was a complete blank.
Fratley followed Prince Puck as the young prince tried everything he could to reawaken Fratley's memories. Eventually, they cam e across Burmecia, one day after it had been destroyed. While Fratley could not remember his homeland, the sight of all of the dead Burmecians brought rager and sorrow into his heart. Seeing an airship heading for Cleyra, Fratley and Puck made tracks for Cleyra.
When they arrived, Fratley found a group of mixed races being assaulted by a group of Black Mages. With speed and skill, he quickly dispatched the mages, allowing the group to get safely inside the temple.
Inside, his past would catch up with him as he was confronted by Freya. She professed so much to him, and yet, as hard as he tried to recall, he could remember nothing, answering to her that this was their first time meeting. Puck came in and explained everything to the distraught Freya. Yet the sight of her crying caused a great pain in his heart, causing him to leave the area abruptly.
It took a while after the destruction of the Cleyra settlement, but after listening to Puck's stories about his past, Fratley decided that while he couldn't remember his past, he would try to reclaim it. He listened to all of Puck's stories about Freya, about how he helped her. Puck told him every possible thing he could about the female Burmecian Knight and his past connection with her. These tales painted for him a picture of the kind of person she was. While he couldn't remember her, he felt in his heart that she was exactly the kind of woman he could fall in love with.
Fratley remained at Freya's side during the reconstruction of Burmecia, seeing her personality, her dedication, her strength. In return, she helped him when he needed aid, and then the tables had flipped. Back in his past, he helped her, and now she was helping him. He fell in love with her once more, and while Freya felt it would never truly be the same, she returned his feelings and married.
Fratley has recently begun to slowly recover his memory after long years of magical and alchemic therapy. There is still a large gap in his memory, but he has at least remembered the day he promised he would return, as well as the event that robbed him of all he held dear. He has not forgiven Beatrix for everything she did to him, to Burmecia or to CLeyra, but for him, her living with the blood on her hands is punishment enough. He is the proud father of three boys and two girls, and is the father-in-law to King Puck.

I'll put up Freya's in a bit, unless someone else wants to play as her. I won't be using them often, but they'll be used as they are needed.
