(SU/D) SFR: La Guerre de Cent Ans: Redux

Yeah, I double posted, sue me.

Well, now that Ravness has returned, we can continue from where we left off on La Guerre. Thank you.

This is great news! ^^ I should get up a post when I'm back at my place. ^^
Also can I scrap my character for another? Never hasnt been working out here so much ><

Alright, the Royal Emmerian Army will wait on Raveness' next post. TIpsy should be seeing their Erusean counterparts soon.

I hope everyone is looking forward to our first battle here. :D

i really have to ask, was your character David holding back against Mtiette or was that about somethng else? Im kinda confused about that second paragraph

David was somewhat holding back, since he's a Pheonician. Yet he prefers to fight on the ground like a Human instead of taking to aerial combat, as per his job class: Dragon Knight.

Don't kill David just yet, he still has some importance in a future chapter.

DW, im not that nooby of a Rper to kill off a character that another player has control of.

True, but that said, you can kill the guy I just introduced though. He is of some importance, but only in that he dies in this battle. :P

Go with after a few blows, he's a human, but he's about 50, so I doubt he'll last more than a few rounds.

(Made an original character for this RP to replace Never. I kinda like him as he's a bit mischievous.)

Name: Wylfred Rose

Age: 24

Race: Pheonician

Gender: Male

Faction: Mercenary

Appearance:
AngelGuy.jpg

Wylfred has crimson wings that portrude from his back. His hair is an amber color that's shoulder length with a tinge of blonde. His eyes are a lighter golder yellow color. His soft facial and body structure is the same as in the pic, his face always serious and girlish, rarely seen otherwise. He wears a thin armour that almost resembles a woman's when he wears it in battle. He prefers wearing this armor in battle because of it's strong yet lightweight characteristic. He doesn't wear a helmet in battle and posses an array of daggers which are tucked unseen within his armor. When in public Wylfred tends to wear a white buttoned up collared shirt and black dress pants with a nice pair of black dress shoes. He likes to look somewhat formal in public, but keeps his white shirt untucked and opened at the top.

Personality: Wylfred has a difficult personality to figure out. He is cunning and somewhat snotty in his treatment of lower classed people(he of a nobel family). He only looks out for his own personal gain but does not let this fact show when interacting with others. He often finds himself leading people on and becoming their friends in order for him to get closer to what he wants. Once he achieves his goal however he does not simply abandon his newfound friendships as he likes to keep connections with people. Wyl has a bad attitude when things do not go his way. His temper and his patience draining causes his to become much more brutal in his speech and actions. Wylfred is all around respectful to most who encounter him. He respects women over all creatures and will often offer to hold the door for them or to listen to them and their wisdom. Wylfred will not do much more without payment in return though. He loves to stir up drama between crowds and watch it unfold. This is actually Wyl's favorite hobby if he is bored. This also holds true on the battle field. As a soldier Wyl often tricks his enemies into thinking that he is a woman due to his armor and his female like face. It makes him chuckle a bit every time he's mistaken for a boyish woman as he thinks it is a bit comical.

Job/Class: Assassin

Weapons:

Twin daggers - Wylfred uses twin curved daggers as primary weapons. He is able to use them in close combat very skillfully.

Jagged dagger - Wylfred uses this dagger as a last resort. He often uses this weapon to either quickly kill a target or to use if his curved daggers are not effective. This is his emergency weapon.

Throwing Daggers - Wylfred uses throwing daggers for long ranged attacks. He uses them for almost every occasions such as tying a string to one to use as climbing rope or hunting for food.

Abilities:

Wylfred has the ability to fight in a ballet style when it comes to close ranged combat. His fighting moves are elegant and fluid and he can perform them so well that it often gets him mistaken as a woman in battle. His odd fighting style allows him enough grace to dodge most slow and brutal attacks.

Another ability of Wylfred's is Earth magic. He can use various earth spells below to crush his enemies in battle:

Earthquake: violently shakes the earth beneath an enemy within a ten meter wide circle.

Pitfall: Creates a pit within the earth by separating rock and dirt from underneath an enemy, thus trapping them within the ground.

Stone: Wylfred casts a spell that effects his enemies: The closer he is to death, the harder, heavier, and stone like his enemies become. If he dies off completely this spell cannot be undone and his enemies will be stoned for as long as they live unless cured with a curse remover.

Story:
Wylfred was orphaned as a child by his poor Pheonician parents as a baby. He was found on the doorstep of Emmerian nobels as a child and was taken in to become a part of the family. Growing up Wylfred had a childhood of pure work ethic. His parent's encouraged him to get into every physical activity they could and to read every book within their personal library. Wyl grew up on these hard core values and grew to love his life of pleasure. It wasn't until he turned 17 that he joined the Emmerian military after his older foster brother. With a few disagreements within the family, an incident occurred involving his father's accidental murder of his mother. With this tragedy Wyfred's father tried to keep this a secret from outsiders, abusing Wylfred's younger sister as a mark to keep silent.

Once his older brother had found out about their father, he tried to kill him for the sake of his mother. Wylfred on the other hand was not for the killing of his father and protested, leaving a void between him and his brother. His father was killed eventually by his older brother out of "justice". Wylfred not liking this justice had decided to confront his brother but ultimately ended up in an argument that left both boys angry at each other. Months later Wyl's brother went off to a battle but had never been seen again, the assumption being he died in battle. After the news Wyl left his family household and his country to go explore the world in search of his brother and to find new lands.

At the age of 20 Wylfred had become a well known traveler of the lands, being hired to do jobs and other various works. He had found a man of whom he loved in a small fishing town by the seaside. He had befriended the man and helped take care of the man as a kind and loving gesture. Once he had finally made his move to confess his feelings to the man, he found that the man did not love him back in the same fashion. This one moment of heartbreak had broken Wylfred's hope for happiness and from then on he had become angrier and more heartless as time went on.

After travelling Wylfred returned home but did not find his sister. He still found that he possessed rights to the Rose family fortune however and used his share of the wealth as currency to travel the lands in search of something greater. It wasn't until he turned 21 did Wyl begin to become a deceptive person. He had begun to fall into a mischievous state, a mindset that has been growing within him ever since. With the many false identities he has created, Wylfred finds it hard to remember what he originally behaved like.

I can't wait to begin Rping as him. ^^ I would have added history but I'm still trying to think up a good one for him lol. It's time for me to get back into this RP with a fresh start ^_^

I can sorta imagine a three way aerial fight between Mtiette, chloe and Wylfred. Maybe Kevin can write one too and we'll have a four way... providing we all dont have any pact between players.

It might be a four way, considering one of the NPC's I have is the Pheonician Pretender to the Khesedi Throne, David of Bruis, who will be in it for the RP's early chapters...

I smell an epic battle! D= I think this would be very cool! ^^ Maybe an epic battle for the factions we represent etc. Love this idea!

I love the idea too, and I'm gonna consider implementing it in an upcoming chapter. It will probably not be the next chapter, but it'll be either the chapter after the next one, or the chapter after that...

Now let me ponder... :hmmm:

Urgh! Any serious battle ought to be good. I'm seriously running low on inspiration in her random killing spree. A massive battle would be a nice character development.

That, and can I come up with another character for this role play? Getting someone more powerful, and in the upper echelons should help. We're missing out on people on the other faction too, right?

Yeah, we're lacking dedicated people on the Erusean faction of the conflict, which was the whole reason why I have focus on their side for the time being.
