I'm going to have to drop out of this RP. I'm really restricting the amount of RP's I am in because of stress at home and at work. Sorry guys :(

I've been having some severe Internet issues in the last couple of days. In fact they're still there and I'm working on getting them fixed. I can't give an ETC but I'm doing everything in my power to fix it.

Sorry about this, but I'm going to have to pull out of the RP as well. I've got a lot on my plate at the moment and I'm about to go back to college. Add that with the amount of RPs I'm in, and the fact that I'll be starting up my RP in the near future, I'll be overloading myself.

I hate to have to do it, but life is a box of chocolates; sometimes a few of those chocolates are giblits of shit.

Do what you have to with Tali. I think I'll recycle her for other RPs in the future. Good luck, everyone.

It's hard to write up a good post when you're sitting in 104f degree heat (that's around 43c degrees)... and you have no AC because the motor in that bitch blew out. :sad3:

I am so happy, Raz is so happy, everything is rainbows over here. :yay: If you can't make posts due to the heat, would you like me or Feebs to take over and just 'assume' that Tali is following the group? It'll be a few days before I think we get to any serious action, since we need others to post as well. It'll save you from having to check all the time and make lengthy posts and just post when necessary if that's an acceptable solution for you?

Oh yes, that'll help. Feel free to Godmod her a bit if you need to. I really wish I could post but this heat is kicking my ass. One swears that I've lost 5 pounds just sweating all fucking day. :hmph:

But truth be told, I haven't been happy with my post quality in this particular RP as of late. So, when I do get to posting again, expect my posts to be much better than before. :ryan:

Lol, I've done that a couple of times myself. I've become a master at quickly editing so it doesn't show up with that message at the bottom that says, "this post was last edited....." :wacky:

I always manage to forget ONE detail or line somewhere. Drives me crazy.

Appearance: Aedan stands at 5'9, which is decent for a half elf. He has short ears and takes more after his human side with his slim build. He has light blue eyes and long brown hair that is kept loose unless he is required to look formal, then he puts it in a ponytail. The armor suit he wears was made specifically for him upon being promoted to Protector in the Order of the Radiant Heart. The armor is splint mail armor, but is slightly more durable than normal splint mail, and is slightly lighter, making movement easier and quicker. On the front of the armor is the symbol of a large blue dragon. The helmet he wears was made from Dragonsbone. It has short spikes on the top of it, and has been used to kill people before, as evidence of the small dried blood spots. He wears his armor at all times, just in case something happens and he gets attacked, removing the helmet only to eat and sleep.

Personality: Aedan is a quiet one who prefers to let his actions do his talking. He is not one to say what he is thinking unless he is specifically asked it, and generally will tell only his closest friends something if he needs to get it off his chest. He dislikes that people act differently around him, and sometimes will try to stay away from people just so that he doesn't see the changes they make around him. The people in the order are the people that he trusts, and he has a habit of making it known by his facial expression the general idea of what is on his mind.

First Impression: Upon seeing the armor, people start to react differently. The "good" people will stop doing whatever they are doing and bow, realizing that he is an important person and commands respect. The "bad" people will more often look for something to do, in an attempt to get Aedan to do something about it.

Statistics: STR- For his size, Aedan is fairly strong. He has been known to lift about as much as himself, which isn't that much when you take the armor off. He can use most weapons, though the heavier ones give him some trouble, and he can put a hole in an average wall.
VIT- He takes more from his elven side in terms of his magic and physical defense, making him take more damage from well placed blows, but slightly less than average damage from magic. The armor he wears helps reduce the damage, though not by much.
SPD- With the armor upgrades, he can move slightly faster than normal, though he gets tired slightly quicker as a result. His attacks are about average speed, and at full speed, he can go about 11 MPH.
STA- Aedan was a hard worker before he got accepted into the order. He has a decent tolerance for pain, although he makes it known when he is hurting. With the armor on, he can only run full out for about 25 seconds before he gets tired, and when he is tired, his abilities drop, and his casting time increases by 4 seconds.
REF- He is about average with his reaction speed, and has been slowly going down over the years. He tries to see weverything that's there, and often times gets distracted by the "abnormal" things.

Fighting Style: Aedan prefers not to fight if he can get away with it. He attempts to use his diplomatic side to resolve any issues, but if that doesn't work, he will use his weapon. When he fights, he is cautious and looks out for his teammates, in case they need help. He has never been one to fight dirty, and is quick to call a draw or a loss if he knows the fight can't be won, in an attempt to keep as many people alive as possible.

Weapon: Aedan uses a Longsword that he calls the Wardens Keep. It looks like a standard issue longsword, but on the handle is the symbol of a miniature blue dragon placed on the pommel. The whole sword weighs around 18 lbs. The handle is covered with red leather, which gives better grip. The blade is 31 inches long, 3 inches wide, and .7 inches thick, with a long, sharp point. He was given this weapon upon being accepted into the order, and has been repaired twice, as evidence of the repair marks on the blade.

Abilities: none

Magic: As a Paladin, Aedan knows the basic heal and restoration spells, along with a standard slow poison spell, and a spell that detects any evil in a 15'radius of himself. Each spell drains up to 15% of his stamina, and each spell can only be cast once without the proper rest he needs. If concentration is lost at all during the casting of the spells, then the spell fails, and is lost until he has rested and re-learned.
Heal - When casting the healing spell, Aedan will hold his left hand over the small area where the wound is, and mutter the phrase "The griffon flies at dawn", after which a small red light appears and mends the area, making the wound bearable for the battle, until more advanced healing can be done.
Restoration - To cast the restoration spell, Aedan slams the blade of his sword into the ground, and kneels next to it, concentrating with all his might. He puts his hands in the shape of a diamond in front of his face, and faces toward the injured party member. He then mutters the words "The owl remains hidden, while the fox chases the prey". This spell is designed to restore a small portion of any blood lost, unless the person is already dead.
Slow Poison - As he sees the affected member, Aedan puts his right hand on the person's forehead, and says "Demons in the wake". The poison is readily removed, but some signs of fatigue will still remain for the person affected.
Detect Evil - Aedan holds his sword up, pointing it to the sky, and calls out "Into the light, I command thee". As he finishes the call, he swings the sword down and around him, causing an invisible circle to go around him, spanning 15'. The spell will cause any evil person in the area to appear with a slight red glow, that only the paladin can see. The spell only lasts for a few seconds, but it is long enough for the paladin.
The healing and slow poison takes 4 seconds to cast, while the restoration takes 15 seconds, and the detect evil takes 7 seconds. To recharge his spells, he must sleep for 7.5-8 hours uninterrupted, or else all spells will not be learned properly, or at all.

History: Aedan was born from an odd family. His mother was an elven tavern girl, while his father was a farmer. He was never one to pick fights because of his odd heritage. At the age of 35, he unknowingly assisted some members from the Order of the Radiant Heart, and after months of training, he was accepted into the order. He had to work his way to the top, while fighting criticism for his race, but he was prepared to do what he had to in order to be fully a part of the group. At the age of 61, he was promoted to the rank of Protector, and was given his new armor set. He has had his position for years, being asked to take on some of the harder challenges, and succeeding, while losing few men. He has had some difficulty undertaking some challenges, but as his own little saying goes, "When I fail, I come back again to succeed."

I plan on expanding a bunch on the history when I get in a little bit. If anything needs changed/added/etc, just let me know.
