He's also not 16 in elven years. That's his appearance age wise using a human scale. The number next to it is the elven age. Something close to a century. I don't have it in front of me. And trust me, he has a lot of growing room.

It makes perfect sense. If we were to take out all factors other than his ability to use the Insanity Jack program then given his mental capabilities, he could run it about 3.5 days. Now then, lets add the need for his body to rest, maybe he needs to use another ability at the same time, loads of other factors, maybe he hasn't slept well the last few nights and is a bit fatigued. That is as high as it goes. This is the stamina section; I'm telling you his mental stamina in its rawest form. Now if what you want is for me to tell you how long he can maintain with all these factors included, then all you need to do is say so.

Alright, alright... We'll allow it, just keep in mind to be logical and not get carried away by a battle post.

Yet another reason I made Vy the way he is. Look at our group make up. We have loads more mages than melee. Vy was meant to be a harasser, someone who can take care of himself while at the same time assisting the group.

The makeup of the party is actually gonna be part of the humor, even though you're right. It's fine if your character wants to fill multiple niches. Just make sure you aren't budding in the battles of others if they don't ask your character to help them.

By turning the Mind Jack into a seconds only thing you eliminates the utility it provides outside of battle and turn his fights into a MMORPG based on precision of timing, something we do not have the luxury of in a forum RP. No doubt I'm talking to someone who knows this but that's what it is.

And really? No weaknesses? Maybe I'm an idiot for blatently saying this but the only thing he has going for him physically is his speed. Get him into a grappling match and he is fucked.

Well that's just missing the point. A large number of people don't want people knowing the sort of wierd sexual things that they're into and as such those are hidden deep in their mind. For Vy to be able to pull those out he has to have access to them. So the thing is, either he has access to the deeper recesses of the mind, or Porn is surface thoughts and everyone wears their fetishes like a badge of honour.

Now if you want, I can put a limit on how deep he can go into people's minds and we can compromise that way.

That limit is perfectly ok with me. He should respect his party members, at the very least. With enemies, I'll be happy to let you know what kinda resistances they have so he can prod as deeply as he can.

And yes, porn is both a surface, and deeper thought; the surface stuff is what you admit that you like, that you KNOW you like and consciously fantasize about. The deeper stuff is things you didn't think turned you on but they do--say like, tentacles, cutting off your partner's head in the middle of smex or cows...

But uh, yeah. Compromise is good, and we're ok.

To which Raz would suggest that it's getting late for them both and perhaps they should go to bed. She would graciously offer her own home as a place to stay for the night if the elf does not already have accommodations in the city elsewhere, but warns her that the pillows in the guest bedroom leave much to be wanting.

To which Tali would probably accept the offer as it would mean she wouldn't have to pay for an inn. She wouldn't worry about the pillows much, because she's slept in much, much, locations before. However, she would be somewhat paranoid about others seeing her sleep.

I took a nap and I feel alot better and I want to apologize for how that last post came off sounding. I kinda get like that over human stupidity. You would think after half a year people would realize you don't stand in stuff...

No worries, I understand that. I get pissed over human stupidity myself. I've grown quite a lot of patience to deal with it.

And yes, I write yaoi. And while i may be insane.... its not about yaoi, it about everything in general.

:B I'm cool with that. I don't mind yaoi; some of it is interesting. As a warning though, because I've been over-exposed to bad yaoi and bad fan behavior WAY TOO MUCH over the last years, I may (and I stress MAY) tend to exhibit a reaction to it that isn't entirely nice. Just remember, if I get a bit hissy, it's usually not because of the yaoi, just human stupidity and I'm trying to keep from exploding...

Appearance:　

• Hair: Silky-smooth, Cerden has silver hair that flows down to his mid-back, and sometimes is tied in three ponytails that overlap each other. Sort of like how the style Samurai’s use.
• Eyes: Some say that Cerden’s eyes are light blue, but the official term would be a silver shade with a blue hint. They have a oval shape. Usually when people stare into his eyes, they get the feel that Cerden is laid back, and is a really “chill” person.
• Skin Tone: Though he is indeed part elf, Cerden has a complexion that resembles more on his human side, and that is a creamy mocha chocolate color. And with his age, he does have some light wrinkles, but mainly he has rugged features.
• Height: Again here is where his human side dominates his Elf side in body features. Cerden has a height of six feet and five inches.
• Weight: 114 kg(252lbs)
• Build: Muscular, but not bulky. Cerden is able to pull strength out of his ass, but his muscles aren’t at a stage where they would slow him down or otherwise. If one were to look at him, they’d say he’s one mighty fit man, and very fit at that.
• Attire: Cerden’s choosing of clothes isn’t anything that stands out much. He wears black pants made out of cotton that are held up in place with belt made of smooth leather(the kind that most belts are made out of). He also wears a trench coat that appears to be made out some kind of leather-like substance. It covers his torso area, and most of his pants(though some parts are seen) by a series of belts that are tied around his waist, left shoulder, and both arms. He also wears a matching pair of gloves that seem to blend in with his jacket.
• Accessories: Aside from the usual rations that are needed for a traveling warrior such as one like Cerden, he doesn’t really carry any unneeded baggage. If anything, he carries a detailed map of Angria. Is that it? Yup, definitely it.

Personality:　To characterize Cerden under just one trait would not only be an insult to him, but everybody who knows him. Get to know him, and you will find that Cerden is one idiotic, dumbass who does the most awkward things in the most inappropriate situations. His attitude in conversation is a combination of lazy, sarcastic, a weebit disrespectful at times, and if a hot girl is the person in conversation, he will not hesitate to throw in major perviness. Yes, that is how he rolls.

If I were to go into depth about what he lives and such things, I would say that Cardel enjoys sleeping, eating, and of course loves LOVES LOVES to drink ale. Cerden has expressed that he dislikes it when people boast about what they accomplished. Like, if they are proud of what they did, then don’t be excessively proud of it. No need to annoy everybody about nothing that interests them.

First Impression:A First impression, huh? Well, first looking at Cerden, you’ll think “Now that’s one lazy son of a bitch!” and you would be right to assume that, but he is also one guy you do not want to piss off. Pick at the wrong pimple, and he’ll pop at ya like a fat kid on a balloon. In normal translations, he’ll beat you up in a heartbeat..well not a heartbeat, but you catch my drift. Oh, and you’ll also think that he might be a bit of a drunk. So, there’s that too.

Statistics:　
Strength:To put in a few words, Cerden’s strength is above average. His above average build enables him to have above average strength, and everything that follows under it. He can lift a little over than he weighs himself, and to include that, he also can deal a good amount of damage with his dual large daggers. Now, I won’t stretch it out, and say that his strength is monstrous, cause it’s not. Though, with that said, he does pretty well for himself.

Vitality:Ah, the wonders of defense. Carden isn’t meant for defense, sadly. He mainly likes to keep his opponents at bay, and try to avoid getting hit because of the fact that he doesn’t exactly wear sturdy armor, he doesn’t exactly have the most high of defnse, but hey! He gets by. So, it’s all good, right?

Speed:He’s quick, but not outrageously quick. Fast on his feat given his build, Carden can sway to the left and right when in battle. Side-stepping is like walking for him - easily done with ease. Now of course, he has his limits. If he outdoes himself in sidestepping, he will have to take a break every now and again. This is exactly the reason why Carden paces himself when in battle. And about that “running at top speed with build-up”, well.. he can run fast, not sure how fast, but let the wind do the talking, eh.

Stamina:Being in fit has its advantages. He can run non-stop for at least three minutes..this is at top speed, by the way. He can be at peek performance in battle for a nonstop five minutes. Now, that might sound a wee-bit unnatural, but hey! Cardel is an unnatural guy, afterall. And about how much he can take a beating, why not take a few whacks, and find out yourself. Kay’?

Reflexes:Yeah, so Cerden would have great reflexes if he weren’t so damn lazy. His habits of being lazy lower his own psyche to actually know when to exactly block or other such things such as that. This is exactly why Cerden has average reflexes, and doesn’t really stand out in that department. Yeah, I know. LAME!

Fighting Style:A little bit of both worlds. Utilizing his athleticism to the fullest. By combining speed, strength, precise aim, and average reflexes, Cerden can perform high air assaults, flips, and other gymnastic things. His style of fighting is very unpredictable, and when in battle with him, you will always have to keep guard because you never know when he’ll strike or where for that matter. Yup, he is definitely the whole package, battle-wise.

Weapons:

Twin Heart: A weapon that originally was a short sword that had one half of the sword shorter than the other, now it serves as a dual-wielding weapon for Cerden. It’s forged from titanium metal, and has a silver coat base. Both short, short swords are identical in design - hilt, blade, side hook, and two circles cut at the bottom of the hilt, and at the start of the hand guard. These two weapons spur out a very, very faint mist aura each time they are swung, thrusted, or anything of the sort. When put away, Cerden puts them in the very same sheath.

Mount:Gary the Gryphon- See Companion/Mound Bio.

Abilities:Cerden has a far range of physical abilities, but his magical abilities are at a limit due to limited mount of training of the art of magic. However, he does use what little magic powers he has to good use, if that works at all.

Perfect Aim and Accuracy: Given his body, and what he’s learned over the course of his life, Cerden ranks pretty high when it comes to how good his aim and accuracy is. He can pinpoint where exactly to strike an opponent, and he can do it at a spot that can cause instant death, or otherwise in slow days, de-weapon his opponents. Now this doesn’t make his a master, but still pretty skilled at this area.

Enhanced Strength: Training his body in very dangerous situations and environments at times, Cerden has trained his body(more so his muscles) to grant him twice the strength that any normal man would have in those given situations. However, given that Cerden has a part of him that is not human, he has been granted a slight edge over those normal humans, and thus the enhanced strength comes into play.

Enhanced Speed: Just like what happens with his strength, Cerden also has enhanced speed. It’s not as fast as he would like it to be, but it still presents itself above average, and for Cerden that is quite okay for him. He is able to use it to his advantage, and if he were to get into some kind of trouble, then the speed would come into handy for when he would need to flee from an opposing opponent or something worse, but you know.

Enhanced Endurance: The amount of running that he has done, and the amount of strain all of that training from running, and strength building has aided to Cerden’s overall endurance. Without the help of armor, Cerden can withstand a good amount of damage before it starts taking its toll on him, and only then does he become slightly weakened over time. He has been frequently asked if he’s ever pushed to his limits or tried to, and he merely just shrugs the question off, hinting that he has time and time again, and he’s overcame those fatigue moments.

Healing: Not really a master at healing, but Cerden has showed a basic talent to be able to heal his injuries. Though it takes longer for him to heal the major injuries(broken bone, torn muscle, etc..), he does have a talent for healing nonetheless. It usually takes him longer to fully heal someone because of his lack of training in the art of healing. And usually this would be considered a magic ability, but because it does not hone on his magical essence, and more so on his will to endure the time it takes to heal, Cerden has classified his healing as an ability instead. It currently takes him three minutes to heal a major injury, and a minute and a half to heal a minor one(cuts, scrapes, etc..).

Glass Manipulation/Hyalokinesis: As the only special ability that Cerden knows of, he can mentally control, and manipulate all forms of glass. Cerden can create glass from basic silica, which is the found in basic geological mineral sources like sand. He has also been seen to be able to repair glass or even recolor it to which ever color he desires. Another thing that Cerden is able to do, but sometimes that requires a little bit more time to do is to increase the glass density of the material he’s creating, make it resistant to extreme temperatures, and the thing that takes the most time(at a rational level) is shape it into blunt objects or even if concentrating long enough, revert the glass back into its sand form and vise-versa with sand.

In other instances, Cerden has been rumored to bond glass with certain metals(those that are applicable). Some others who possess this same ability(Cerden in this matter) can replicate and/or generate basic silica.
The limits of what Cerden can do with Hyalokinesis is not limited to how much he can do, but how long he can use this power/ability continuously. As strong and trained as Cerden is, his limits are six minutes continuously. Now that might sound a weebit unrealistic, but Cerden has trained constantly to improve the length of how long he can go without stopping, and so far, six minutes is his limit.

Glass Armor: Using his glass manipulation, Cerden can create a sturdy, and very durable(and wearable) armor that is clear in appearance, but definitely shows that’s there by having the whole thing made out of a special kind of glass that does not harm, but protect Cerden from damage. This armor lasts for five minutes, and then requires a three minute time period before usage can continue.
　


Magic:Not really a master of magic, but nor is he a beginner. Cerden has a decent knowledge of magic, and he can utilize it in a way that isn’t too strong, but isn’t considered a push-over amount , either. There are no specific spells that Cerden knows, but from what others have seen, he knows a great deal of Earth magic that mainly includes using geological minerals as main source of the spells. There have also been instances that Cerden could cause small tremors. Though, that is a very slight fib. But hey, who knows.

Other Skills:

Hand-to-Hand Combat Expert: Very skilled in the art of butt-whooping, Cerden really can unleash a can of whoop ass with all of his fury. Like the name suggests, he is quite skilled in hand-to-hand combat, and this can range from multiple different things, but mainly it refers to brawling with your fists, not really sure what else it could refer to.

Wilderness Expert: Now when you hear a term like that, it pretty much is self-explanatory. Having had grown up in the woods area, Cerden knows his way around, and knows which plants not to eat, and so on and so forth. He knows which paths to take, and which can lead you to a very unfortunate death. So many things I can explain, but what fun is in that. Cerden knows a lot about nature, let’s just put it at that.

Skilled in Air-like maneuvers: With his build to aid him, Cerden is quite skilled in flips, spins, and all while doing it in mid-air. He can make you dizzy with his quickness, and really make you wonder if he’s had a bit too much to drink. And just when you think he’s limited to mid-air tricks, he’ll surprise you with his gymnastic background..well not really, but he knows how to do those tight bendy moves.

Avid Drinker: You knew this was coming. As a lover of alcohol, Cerden can hold his own when it comes to this adult beverage. He can handle a lot, and by a lot, I do mean a lot. If you think I am kidding, then go on and ask him, he’ll show you that he can handle at least two full jugs of Ale, and not be affected like it would to most people, but then again, not like he can be damaged anymore than he already is.

Intelligence: Yeah, despite his lazy nature, Cerden is really keen on what goes on around him, and how to use it to his advantage. And this is also just as clear in and out of battle. He knows what to say, what the right thing is to say, and he can say in a way that most wouldn’t understand it. Also he can read motions, and that gives him an extra edge in battle.

Weapon Smith: Another cool thing about Cerden is that he knows his weapons. He knows how to use them correctly. He knows how to weild them correctly, and most of all, he knows how to block with them correctly. Cerden is so skilled with them that he has adjusted to the different lengths, weight, and mass of the many weapon types he has worked with.

Chef: You know how every man should know how to cook for the sake of surviving in the outside world? Well, it just so happens that Cerden knows how to cook, and cook pretty well at that. He knows how to cook many different types of food, and knows what ingredients to use for the right recipes. However, Cerden personally prefers to cook fish. It’s easy to cook, and really easy to find.


History:Cerden has always been an average guy ever since he was a little kid. He had average parents, less-than average siblings, and his childhood was average too. Nothing really spectacular happened when he was a kid. If anything, Cerden displayed excellent athleticism growing up, and even showed great potential for being a great warrior someday. Oh, and also had a decent knowing about magic. So, sure he went under the tutelage of this one guy who saw all the potential in the world, but that one little thing that kept Cerden from achieving it was his laziness.

Since he displayed the potential, Cerden had went under the teachings of this old man who was a big hardass, and always was really strict with Cerden. It wasn’t until he reached the fifth year of being under this old man’s teaching where he showed glimpses of talent for the manipulation of glass where one day while over at the hut of this old man, he got into a bit of a rage fit where he raised his hands high in the air, and very small, and dull shards of glass came up at that command. And having being a glass manipulator himself, the old man decided to not only train Cerden how to control his anger, but also how to harness his power over glass.

Over the years, Cerden went from a cocky, and short-tempered teenage boy, to a less-short-tempered boy, and confident in his abilities. And it was over these ten years, Cerden was able to come into a level of his power that he would be able to use it at any given moment, and even he has been practicing to form weapons from it. And in doing so, Cerden has gained other lesser abilities.

It wasn’t until he reached his mid-twenties that Cerden had decided to go on a self-finding journey, and just see if he could pick a thing or two while he roamed the world. He talked to his master, and while his master did not approve of him going off in such short time, he understood why he had too, and in that Cerden’s then master gave him three things to help him: twin swords that Cerden had admired for quite sometime, a map of the world, and a Gryphon Egg that a year from the time he left would hatch into what he rides nowadays.

So there it was. At the age of twenty-six, Cerden left his home in Esk, and he journeyed the world where he would embark on rigorous adventures, and also would train himself to be the best assassin that there was. A fitting role for him, methinks. And his trusty comanion: Gary the Gryphon, there are no horizons that Cerden can’t reach.

Name: Gary the Gryphon
Age: Gary is twelve years old. He is a teenager in Gryphon years

Appearance(Click): Gary stands about nine to ten feet tall when on his back legs, but when on all fours, he stands about five feet tall. His fur colors are a combination of royal blue, silver, and black. His tail is the only exception, which is a mixture of light blue, and silver, with black going along the side. Gary’s wings can spread a good ten feet when fully stretched. His pointy ears are black on the outside, and the inner-parts are sliver. Oh, and he has crimson-red eyes. So, that’s Gary. Isn’t he cute?

Personality: Gary is quite shy, and when approached, he likes to pretend he’s not shy, and when you least expect it, he’ll quickly turn around and fart in the face of the person who approached them. You get to know Gary, and you’ll love Gary. Gary really is a sweet Gryphon, he just has a bit of a phobia to strangers. You understand, right?

First Impression: Okay, let’s be honest: when you first see a semi-huge Gryphon, you’re going to be scared shitless, and probably shit your pants. And that’s understandable, of course. He’s huge, and probably will bite your head off, but really get to know Gary. If you learn to like him, he’ll learn to not bite your head off at first glance. He’s a sweetie. So like him I say.

Statistics: Well what can I say, Gary is a Gryphon, so he’s fast, and strong. A mixture of a lion and a bird, so of course he’ll be keen of his surrounds, and indeed he’s smart. Not really meant for battle, but he sure can hold his own when in battle, so there’s that to take into account. Just know that he’s exceptional in tracking skills.

History: Not much to say: Cerden has had Gary since birth. He helped hatch him, and ever since Gary has been eternally faithful to him. Oh, and Gary LOVES fish. He’ll lick you for some fish. He loves Catfish for some reason. Yeah, Cerden is confused there too. Hehe.

*wipes away sweat* That's a relief. I was kind of worried that his abilities would consider him over-powered, but now that I think of it, it's nothing compared to Vy's abilities XD. And yes, I wanted him to be a combination of weird, awkward, and completely inapproiate to little kids(in a good way, not that pedo-bear way :C).
