So I decided to make a thread on this cause I have not seen one. It will have 8 additonal characters plus the whole cast of SFIV. New ultra combos super combos etc etc. New modes. I am absolutely goin to get this game! The additional characters revealed so far are T-Hawk, Dee Jay, Juri(mmmmm yummy) Colin, Adon and cody from Street fihter alpha. 2 more characters to get revealed! Street Fighter is a good series, and from the preview, this game doesn't dissapoint.

Love to see Dee Jay come back, he pretty much the only character I can somewhat relate to. (since my parents are from the Caribbean)
 
Make that 10 new characters! their are only 4 unannounced characters left! Rumors(rumors that come from the same source that has been right about every other SSFIV rumor) say that the new characters are going to be Dudley, Makoto, Ibuki, and a new character by the name of Hakan. Hakan is supposed to be an "oil obssessed" (racist capcom?) middle easterner. I cannot wait for this game to come out!
 
damnit I want the game now,the recent trailers are so awesome.More anime scenes,new moves,new ultras,and new characters! it should be out late April in North America.

The most very recent trailer is about Juri in anime,its awesome.
 
So, besides the new characters what else is this game providing? I don't want to get the game (AGAIN) and have nothing new but characters.

Also, I think for those who already have the game you should just be able to download the extra stuff from the PSN. =/. Agreed?
 
I still don't have my PS3, but I'm getting it in March for FFXIII and GoWIII, and definitely have this on my waiting list. I'll be working during the weekends for $100/day, so each month I'll have $800 game money until the summer, where I'll most likely make more.

Anyways, can't wait for this game, looks awesome! I've always liked Street Fighter, I remember when my family would travel down to Mexico and there would be little shops where they'd have Capcom vs SNK. Of course, I liked SNK more, but most of the Street Fighter characters were there =p
 
:hmmm:... I don't think I have Street Fighter for PS3 but, I do remember playing the game on my dads arcade machine :awesome: Street Fighter was a good game and the vids don't make it seem any less awesome so i'll check into it =)

anyways,the snk vs capcom thing sounds very cool,I wish there was a place like that near my house.I like snk also,I like the character robert garcia,and goro daimon,even mr.big but he only appears in remakes.

About ssf4,I wish theres people here that will get it on 360 so I could play with you guys.
 
Im really interested in the character Han Juri. She is like my new favorite street fighter character even if she is new. So yeah im gonna get this game to have some awesome fights and ill try to keep a positive win ratio this time around. Im gonna practise with Juri alot. She is a awesome sexy sort of assasin xD. Also new characters will be revealed soon. I cant wait.

try to learn some combos,i know its a pain in the ass cuz its hard to,but thats how you win,maybe juri has easy combos.

Thats exciting to know but now some rumoured characters are so predictable to be in the game,such as Ibuki.
 
/revives. I just got this game yesterday and its pretty epic. Im loving Ibuki and Juri. Dudley is pretty sick too. Hes kinda weaker then in the old games though. But this has completely new storys which is awesome. Even for the regular characters! Also Juri I hate her english voice. Im defor gonna put japanese for all the jap/chinese/korean characters as it sounds better then english. New ultra combos are great and they are selectable! Online is also pretty cool. Great game! But the only glaw is all the characters are already there xD
 
I have yet to play it. I really want to though. They changed the game quite a bit and added quite a few new characters all for only 40$. Considering how much they changed I would have payed full price for it.

I heard they changed the online lobby system to where you can host a lobby with multiple people now. Please tell me that's true.
 
it's kind of a waste of money because all it has is the old characters from the series...all they had to do was make an expansion pack 4 street fighter 4 for all the characters
 
its not a waste of money at all,the storyline for everyone is different,the online system is different and it improved a lot,you could do team battle with friends. Im enjoying the game so far,im on for the achievements and playing online with people,my characters are bison,t.hawk,and hakan.
 
This is the one game and the only game I ever play with any semblance of consistency. Does anyone still play it? Have thoughts on the game now that it has been out for this long and or thoughts on AE?
 
I still play my copy occasionally which is the PS3 version. Usually it's if I am playing with someone though. I enjoyed it though. It was a nice overall upgrade over SFIV unlike some of Capcom's previous experiences with "upgrading" the SF games. I haven't really payed attention to the arcade version so I can't say anything about it.

Yeah that's true, I basically live on the game, so yeah you can host multiple non-ranked matches with up 8 people if i remember, but I would recommend more than 4 to reduce lag.

And whoever said it was a waste of money is talking crap, because it's worth every penny of it! Though it is more technical than others but the artwork and concept art looks amazing, charecters such as Cammy, E.Honda and Yuri. Though I main Adon xD
 
I haven't played this is so much ages... I do generally suck at it everytime I play. I use Ibuki and Juri/Dudley most. I used to be good with them but now that I havent played for a really long time.. I just suck xD. I do enjoy Street Fighter sometimes though. The main problem I have with this now is Oni Akuma and Evil Ryu in the new arcade version. What useless characters. The 3ds Version should be alright. Ill probably give it a try. Street fighter on ds xD.. That should be fun.
 
I'll probably check it out as well...when I eventually buy a 3DS that is. For now I'll stick with the console version. I don't think I can handle seeing Balrog 3D punching me in the face yet. / Joking

Who is Oni Akuma supposed to be anyway storyline wise? I know Shin Akuma is just Akuma going all out at 100%. Is he just another name for Shin Akuma?
 
Balrog is probably the cheapest charecter in Street Fighter 4.

Oni Akuma? /is confused.
Never heard of an Oni Akuma, I only know of Shin Akuma, it might just be another name for it I think
