There must be some Supernatural fans out there! Ive recently got into the first series and I love it! Its funny and so damn scary at the same time. Ive also read that a third series has been in production since May this year, so squee!!!

For those who have no idea, Supernatural follows the journey of Sam and Dean Wincester who are in search for their father who hunts demons. 22 years ago something occured in the family and their father set off in order to discover what was behind the event. Sam and Dean encounter demons, ghosts, spirits as they track down their dad and some answers.

Anyone else a fan here?
 
I love Supernatural. It's actually one of the only shows that I keep up with. I've always been fascinated by myths, ghost stories and the like so the show is perfect for me.

I've seen both seasons. There's a third season starting in September. If you haven't seen the second season yet, the dvd comes out September 11.

There are 22 episodes in the first, not sure about the second. And as I mentioned theres a 3rd in production.

And fav episode? Havent got one yet, all of them really as Dean is hot! And yeah Im finding it fasincating learning all American old folklore.
 
Dean is definitely hot. :D

And yeah, the folklore is fascinating. I had never even heard of a Strega or a Rakshasa before watching the show.

I have a few favorites that I like to watch over and over again: Something Wicked (ep about the Strega), Bloody Mary, Provenace (ep about the painting) and Scarecrow.

I can't wait until the second season dvd comes out.
 
For those interested, series 2 is now out on DVD, heaven. And also series 3 has been made and lanuched in the US. Hopefully the UK will get its grubby mitts on it next year!!!
 
I hope so. Season 3 wasn't as good as 1 or 2 but it's only half over. There have been some really cool eps though. I particularly liked the fairy tale episode and the one that brought Gordon back.
 
The final epsiode of series 1 made me jump lol. Im gald that I had series 2 on stand by as I couldnt wait with that cliff hanger. And the first episode of series 2 left me so upset!

supernatural is amazing XD although i havnt managed to watch for a while :( been too busy with other stuff, and the fact i can never find it on tv anymore *sob*
 
Thought I had made a thread on this. Rofl, how random. But yeah I love Supernatural. Its such an awesome, comical, scary, sexy show. I recently purchased series 3, so Im abit behind with others at the moment lol. Dean is just fitness.
 
I can't really afford to buy them on DVD (I have 2 cars and a truck to support LQTM), but I do have season one

Besides the hottness that is Dean, I really love the storyline of the show. The whole demons vs. angels thing they've incorporated this season is pretty cool. It sucks that we have to wait until January 15th for a new episode though D=
 
I couldn't get into it. My friend lent me the first series. I watched 13 episodes, and the more I watched, the more I got bored. There's not enough characters, and the story took ages to progress. I just wasn't hooked.
 
I watched during the summer of 2008,I don't know which season they were showing but I was watching it everyday along with my sister.At first it didn't interest because I thought it was stupid,but after watching an episode or two I began enjoying it.Not that big of a fan though.
 
I bought the first 3 seasons on DVD a couple of weeks ago, and went through them pretty fast. It's a fairly enjoyable show, and I love the humour and the classic rock references and music throughout the show (though the music seem to be less prevalent in season 2 and 3. My only complaint would be that the season 2 finale was rather anti-climatic, and that they seem to be getting more and more lazy with the spooks/demons/monsters as the show progresses. In season 1 we got a new adversary in every episode. In season 2 and 3 we get mostly ghosts, or demons if it's a story arch episode. It wouldn't be so bad if they were a bit more creative with the demons instead of just giving us "hot possessed chick with black eyes" of the week every time. It's still a decent enough show, but I do wish they'd get a little more creative again.
