~+Tales of FFF+~The Role Play

FFGuy: Zeria, anger will not vanquish this monster, most likely he will use it against you, no battle is won by rage, be at peace with your mind and the battle is yours, but succumb to your rage and you will be lost forever

FFGuy crouches down trying to send his aura to Zeria

Now a sinister smile crosses Lord Samaels face as he looked at both of the fighters.

"FFGuy I would love to stay and tear your miserable heart from you chest but I have will not expose Zeria to you gruesome demise."

Lord Samael then begins to back up towards the wall. With one last smile he jumps into the shadow and disappears right into it.

As he disappears he begins to talk. "Zeria......I will be back for you. When you have discovered the truth I will be back."

Then the shadow grows silent.

From the lifeless body of Loki beams of light shot out into the air. They incepted each other in the air until they formed a orb of holy energy.
Once the orb of energy formed into a perfect orb it floated to Julius's balcony.

Then it went through the doors into the room...

FFGuy: and now that evil entity has one.... is everyone alright, anyone hurt? more importantly though, how are you Zeria, you know he will be back, but what did he mean by the 'truth'?

FFGuy remained close as if awaiting an attack but sheathed his swords and remained silent

FFGuy: don't say that! come with me, lets get you some rest, you need some time to think anyway, if you need someone to talk to though, I am always here for you.

FFGuy gestured with his hand to lead Zeria to her quarters

The bounty hunter's body had finally stopped dancing. Although she had given a deep curtsy in response to Lord Julius' bow, there wasn't a smile on her face. At least, not as sweet as a smile as there was just a few minutes ago. It was rather weak.

"What's wrong Shenorai?"
"...n-nothing, Julius...I'm fine," Shenorai managed to reply.

Her violet eyes finally had the courage to gaze up into the eyes of the castle's young lord. There was something amiss, though. Instead of the happiness that she had seen in him earlier, there was a mix of emotions. A sea of sorrow and rage were entwined within each other, crashing against the cold stone that had formed within his soul. It was a look that she had seen in a few people, yet never in Julius. Was he-?

"Well I leave you now Lady Eterna. There are some issues that I must attend to."

Shenorai returned his bow with a shallow curtsy and watched as he turned away. The ghost within her had drifted away, returning her body's control back to the girl. Once Julius caught sight of another woman, she saw his fist clench. What was going on? Wait...was that...Zeria? But what could he have against her?

"So she is with him.....she is with HIM.....argh..."

Who was that with her, anyway? Before she could step forward, the music had returned and another dancing couple cut between them, blocking her way and making her walk backwards just to avoid being bumped into.
Another couple crossed her path...and another...somehow, Shen had ended up right in the middle of the dance floor.

"Julius?!"

The bounty hunter's calls for the young lord went unheard and unanswered, for the music overpowered her voice. Though one thing was for sure...she had to get off the dance floor. Shenorai sighed in vain, and slipped into the crowd.

When she emerged again, she ended up at the snack bar. However, she wasn't too hungry. For the moment, though, Shenorai sat down at one of the nearby tables. For the sake of her artificial wings, she sat near the edge of the seat, her hands folded in her lap and her violet eyes staring at nothing in particular.

"...was...was it something I did?" Shenorai whispered to her ghost.
I don't know, Shen...I don't know...

FFGuy: lets go.....

FFGuy rounds a few corners and when FFGuy and Zeria are outside her room he turns to face her

FFGuy: I too seek forgiveness, I too plunged into my own darkness, I had thoughts of slaying you.... could you possibly forgive me....?

FFGuy lowers his head slightly, saddened and with a look of both seriousness and great misery, almost as if he had made the most grave of errors

... The orb of energy started to take on the form of a human. He was wearing simple clothing. Just a tunic, pants and shoes.

He walked over to Julius and asked, "Whats wrong Julius?" His voice seemed to come from everywhere in the room at once.

"But of course, my friend. You were clouded by thoughts that a dear friend had betrayed you. It's natural. I may have done the same if you'd given up"

She all of a sudden felt really dizzy and fell to the floor.

"I'm so...tired. And my mind is racing..."

FFGuy: Zeria!

it was too late, she had passed out, quite understandable fron all she had gone through, FFGuy crouched down and picked her up and carried her into her room and laid her in her bed.

FFGuy rest easy....my love.....

FFGuy then walked out before anyone saw and closed the door behind him.

"I gotta go." Danny told Isabelle. He had lost track of time and had been dancing for over half an hour. He had to find the man he seeked.

"Oh if you must." Isabelle sighed

"Excuse me. Sir! Where is your lord Julius?" Danny asked a servent

"I believe he is in his chambers my lord. Do you wish me to call him?

"No. Just give me directions to his room"

"I'm afraid I can't do that sir. Please tell me what you wish to speak with him about and I'll see him." Danny sighed

"Fine tell him... An old frend wants to see him. Tell him the name Renet."

After he heard Zeria move again he walked off happily and flew through the roof, watching over the night for the mysterious man, also paying extra observation over Zeria's room.

FFGuy: rest easy knowing an angel watches over you this night

FFGuy wished he had a cure, this menacing body prevented him expressing his true feelings.... his love

It was a quick conversation, having been rudely interrupted by another party seeking a dance. Even if it stood against manners, Vegnya let it go, pretending that she was not present while Zeria lost herself on the dance floor. Just like her sister, the SeeD fell victim to the scandalous activities that the music enchanted them into.

Alone once again, the white mage sought company elsewhere. This gave her the time to ponder Zeria's untold plight. Even if she was stubborn about it, the problem was quite clear. Detected by her female intuition, jealousy was heavily suspected. Vegnya scoffed inwardly while downing her second glass of wine.

The music ended quite soon, or rather, Julius concluded his dance with the expert lady bounty hunter. He abandoned his partner, retreating into the confines of his private quarters. Shy as always, Vegnya figured, taking it upon herself to comfort the puzzled Lady Shenorai.

Now for a drinking partner.

"M'lady," Vegnya offered a full glass of red wine to bounty hunter, picked up from the tables on her way. "Shall we? It will drown your worries."

Shenorai seemed to snap out of whatever daydream her mind was residing in.

"P-pardon?" she stammered, looking up at the beauty who offered her the glass. The silver mask and lovely blond hair certainly gave away the woman's identity. In her hand was a stemmed glass of crimson liquid, just begging for the bounty hunter to have a taste.

"...sorry, Vegnya," she apologized, waving her hand a bit at the wine. "I don't drink."
Come on, Shen...it's a masque! Vegnya can't be any older than you are, yet she's enjoying some wine.
...but I'm not Vegnya, Leondra.

Shenorai could see the reflection of the armored ghost in the woman's mask, though said nothing of it. Instead, the hand she was waving was now swept towards the seats.

"...you may join me, if you wish. No one else is sitting here."

Zeria's sleep was anything but peaceful. It was all nightmares of the most horrible events in her life. Julius' cold stare, everyone hating her, almost losing people she cared about, running away from her abusive home as a child....everything hurt. She tossed and turned, moaning "no" over and over. She was afraid of everything...

FFGuy could detect the tension Zeria was facing, it was almost as if they were linked by invisible ties, almost fated to be together.

FFGuy: rest easy, be at peace for no demons shall hurt you this night..... i will make sure of it

With this being said FFGuy glided back to the ballroom to see if anything was going on, nothing of deepening concern, just two women drinking in one corner and some others that were attending to their own business.

Vegnya shrugged, using the devil-may-gesture to hide her delight. Intoxication was not the plan for tonight, but as long as sweet-tasting wine remained on the menu, the mage would gladly accommodate it.

"Thank you," she sat and crossed her legs promptly. "Mmm, you're a wonderful dancer," Vegnya said through a sip. "You should have seen the jealousy on this one girl. She wouldn't say it, but I think she could have stabbed you in the back if she had the chance." An uncharacteristic laugh was stifled by the mage, muffled from the mask. "Truly, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

The nightmare ended and Zeria lie still. Now she was remembering all of the good times she'd had with everyone. Especially when Julius had been around. She remembered fighting alongside him and working to defend their honor. And she kept picturing his smiling face. As she slept, a single tear rolled down her cheek...
