Tattoos

I don't have any and up until the past few years I'd never really had any desire to. Then all of the sudden I started to like the idea of getting a whole sleeve done on one of my arms. I have no idea why - it just clicked in my head. I probably won't do it though - I wear short sleves to work 6-7 months out of the year and work in a pretty clean-cut atmosphere.

I absolutely LOVE tattoos on girls if they're done well. Generally, I think they're the best from the neck down to the lower back - I don't really like them on the front or lower half of the body unless she's going all-out body ink, Suicide Girl style or something. I really dig little ones on the back of the neck.
 
No i don't have any, there were numerous times i thought about getting one though. But i decided not to because of how they'll look on me later on, that and they are difficult to take off. I haven't kept up with if its gotten easier to remove them so i don't really know about the process or how its changed.

Back of my Neck = Love heart
Left Wrist = Smiley face and Danny written underneath
My Back = my name in japanese (This.)

I don't want one and I don't like them, they are so permanent, when I was little I didn't even want a fake tattoo on my body because I thought it was ugly xD I do love to watch Miami Ink and La Ink programs, it's just fascinating how people got to the idea to get one.
 
I want another one, though, this means I now want 2 more, ive one ive had the idea for for ages, i know EXACTLY what I want, Im just struggling with where to stick the fucker, its only a small one, so I was thinking somewhere a tad more obscure like behind the ear or summat

I want one up my side as well, well, not directly on the side, abit more forward like, on the stomach and going round abit...kinda like in an L shap :8F: THIS MAKES SENSE IN MY HEAD :rage:

I just need to decide what I want......

it took me 2 years to settle on the wings on my back, so this could be WIP for a while :8F:
 
I used to want a tattoo. I used to use the temporary ones all the time and I thought it was so badass. I really wanted my arm heavily tattooed like you see on some guys.

But I quickly came to realise that I don't think they look good at all. Well... actually I don't like the generic tattoos people get like butterflies and dragons and stuff like that. I do like the few that have some meaning or are original in their design. I also like Yakuza tattoos.

I would never get one because it's too much of a commitment. I would get bored of it and want to take it off eventually. I don't know which company says it but: 'love the skin you're in'. :hmmm:
 
I've had temporary tattoos that you get on holiday, such as a Tweety Pie one I had just below my left shoulder. But I'd never want one you'd have for life because I might not like them suddenly one day.
 
I have another one that I want desperately on the back of my neck but I need to get my guitar finished off with the flowers and vines around it. I want it too look more complete then just having a guitar on my back.

I really want to get Steve and me a matching tattoo for our anniversary this year. Something to do with soul mates. Have a bit to think about before we get that though. Don't want to just get anything tacky.
 
A temporary ink tattoo is fine but I doubt I would be able to get a real one. Not only can you not change your mind and get rid of it afterwards but I am too much of a chicken to get one. Not to mention the whole skin issue later as well. To those who do have tattoos, more power to you. I wouldn't recommend going overboard with them though.
 
I have one on my back and one on my leg. The one of my back is a Nisan Cross (taken from Xenogears), the other is a Dying tree.

Ive already posted before on this thread saying what tattoos i have so i wont say again.
But ive decided to get another one, ive been thinking about it for a while but just couldnt be arsed going to the place to see them about it.
Im drawing my idea out atm so i think i might head down 2moro and get the bloke to draw it better and see if i get an appointment for some time in the next few months.
I wont say what it is now but il post up a pic when i get it done :ryan:

I'm not really a fan of the REALLY big ones.

Like when they cover your entire back, or something. Especially for girls. I know a few girls who are really pretty girls and then they go and cover up their beautiful skin with this wallpaper of ink.

I am only going to get one more big one and it's to complete the big one I have. Though it's not THAT big.

From then on I only want little ones here and there. They can be quite attractive when done properly. =)

@Shu: I love the one on your back! It looks freakin' sweet. Nice positioning of it.
The one on your leg is hard to make out, but I reckon that tattoos on the legs for guys always look good.

@Kira: Yours is so cute. I would be afraid to get any on my arms though for the simple reason that every job I've ever gone for always asks that you not have any visible tattoos. =/ Otherwise I'd have one on both of my wrists right now. XD

I've decided Im getting my dolphin covered up, Im sick of seeing it on every bastard picture, but I want summat that goes from about half way up my upper arm and onto my shoulder, maybe summat pretty.. and pink..and foral... I hate deciding, it took me 2 years just to decide on my back tattoo. At least have decided now though.. Ive been umming and ahing for so long over whether I wanna get it covered up or not
 
Im booking my first next week. Im getting the Muse logo on my right wrist. My mates are chuffed Im getting 1, but theres always 1 who is like "Its a band tat, NO!!!!" Ive been a fan for 10 years and want it there for the gig. I know people, including my ex, who have band tattoos and are happy.
 
I would love to have an ornate design somewhere along the small of my back. So far, I've only been having hennas done whenever I can. I'm thinking of getting one for my next birthday, but my concern is the needle. I'm a little scared of needles. :wacky:

I've also seen a lot of tattoos-gone-wrong, so I'll need more time to think the whole process through. D:
