FF Music the best ff song like ever

It's kinda hard to choose the best EVER, but I would choose The Dreadful Fight from FFIV, when they battle Zeromus. The Dissidia version that is. The original is very good but the Dissidia version is just awesome.

Other choices for the very best IMO would be either Liberi Fatali or To Zanarkand.
 
I have a few Final Fantasy songs that I absolutely love and couldn't ever really choose between to be honest.

Final Fantasy X - To Zanarkand
Final Fantasy X-2 - Eternity ~Memory of the Light and Waves~
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within - The Dream Within

All are beautiful pieces and the first few I think of when I think of Final Fantasy music. =)

Aerith Theme...by far. Such an extremely emotional piece and every time I think of FF music this comes into my head. My favourite version of it is the FFVII Piano Collection by Shiro Hamaguchi & Seiji Honda. The emotions and depth created by this one piano...is just astounding. Plus that moment in the game was like "D:". But I won't go into that, haha.

And yes, Melodies Of Life, mainly because it also comes to my head when I think of FF music. The emotion, the depth and....well FFIX is my favourite, haha.
 
Liberi Fatali, Sephiroth's Theme, Aeriths Theme....So hard to pick Aeriths Theme Especially when on Violin and piano its an utterly heart wrenching song so much life in such a sad song. Nothing from an FF game has impacted me so much as that one song it actually makes me cry at the right time.
 
best SONG? To Zanarkand. Hands down.

But that's assuming it's a song, the other's are interpretable as pieces since they can loop if need be, there beginnings and ends but they aren't definitive.

To Zanarkand is just incredible, it's a rare piece from the Final Fantasy musical archives that doesn't necessarily require it's visual counterpart to be just as moving as intended.
 
I love,love,LOVE the battle theme from ffx. Its quite possibly my favorite... or tied with to zanarkand....
