Well I'm not sure if anyone paid close attention to the time of day as much as I did. 
But you said that everyone should reach a point in the RP where they rest for the day since it would be evening, so should our next post be our character's turning in from whatever they were doing, or have the tiles in the map been switched already ?

Yes, the first day will be ending soon. Either tonight of when I get up tomorrow, I will post as such and also give people (via PM) the new surrounding of their tile (if any) as well as people who are being eliminated.
The new map is drawn and shortly after the posting of this, the players will be getting PMs for new locations and the four cardinal surrounding tiles.
Also assume that the changes happened while you were asleep or inside a building or even when you were looking away cause its all instantaneous.

That's why you move around the board. You should easily be able to post about 3 times a week, time permitting.
