I actually just wanted to see Leviathan in this game :/ that Serpent is the only one out of all the summons in FFX, the others are great but I just like Leviathan the most :P (guess its due to previous experience with him in past FF games).

It was said whoever Yuna picked would have been the final aeon.....i think it would have been based on the characters attitude or way of life etc.......somoene like Rikku would have been a cheery aeon while someone like Sir Auron would have been so down to earth it would bore you to death. Pick the person then find the Aeon.

But nor Jecht nor Tidus could have been fayth for The Final Aeon, cause they are both dreams, pulled out by Sin to reality. Sin is the fayth of the high summoners who died at a war between Yevon and the Al Bhed, which Maechen calls a big machina war. The Fayth (You know, the small boy with a purple cap on) also says that the fayth are constantly dreaming because of Jecht and Tidus who are alive in the reality. So, Sin, which is ALSO the fayth that's dreaming, pulls them out of their own dreams and leaves them in reality, and now they're crying to let them stop dreaming because THEY are in reality, but they are reality because of the Fayth itself! Confusing, huh? I made this theory from information given by the Fayth itself in the game and lots of other information gained from Maechen (the old scholar who travels around the world, but actually just stalks Tidus, Yuna, etc.). But, now i still don't understand how Jecht could be the Fayth to summon the Final Aeon, because he is a dream -.-

What I also can't understand is that Auron died while guarding High summoner Braska, and when he dies in a fight, he doesn't keeps respawning like Seymour. Cause then he would be the perfect warrior :D
And it's funny, that each time Yuna is going to perform a sending, Auron isn't around :D It's just remarkable they did that. But Tidus should have been gone when Yuna is performing a sending, cause Tidus is a dream of the Fayth, which should have made him be gone 2!

And now, the biggest mysterie!!! How can Zanarkand exist in Spira, while it is a dream of the Fayth! I guess they forget about that :P Mwuahah!

Well.. that's all i have to say.. Oh yeah!

First post! Woohoo!

OK FFX Duh!, here are my responses, as you said X is very complicated so please be aware that all of the following statements are MY interpretation, I'm not saying they are right!

Jecht and/or Tidus could have been the final Aeon, in fact Jecht was, so that proves it. Tidus is 'real' as long as the fayth dream.

Sin was formed by the death of the high summoners but that was following the war between Bevelle and Zanarkand, not Yevon and the Al bhed.

The Fayth are represented by the boy, but the boy is not the Fayth. Also, they are not dreaming because of Tidus and Jecht, they are dreaming because they wanted to preserve the memory of Zanarkand before the war.

Yevon is an exceptional Fayth, in fact he is the exception. He is neither alive/dead/dreaming/good or evil. That's what makes him scary.

Why does Auron die during battles?

ANSWER ONE: Because if the rest of the party dies, Auron cannot fullfill his promise, he becomes a fiend or goes to the farplane.

ANSWER TWO: Because it would be a pretty crap game if he didn't.

It's no coincidence that Auron isn't around for a sending, he's not stupid!

No, Tidus is not unsent, so he can't be sent, he's a dream of the Fayth, they are different things.

Finally, Zanarkand exists as the real ruins of the 1000 year old dead city and as a dream of the Fayth, as remembered before its fall.

Phew, as I said IMHO.

Meh, I never really gave it much thought, but if I had to guess, it would be a cross between Tidus and some other monstrosity wielding a large sword.

Wow! Man! I didn't know all this stuff. That kinda explains why I'm not the story-type of guy. But, great info. I am definitely keeping that in mind. I wish the Neo Bahamut and Bahamut Zero were Aeons, or there was a way that Bahamut could grow stronger or even evolve. I would so be kicking ass then.

If they didn't kill Yunalesca...

If they didin't kill Yunalesca, Yuna would've summoned the Final Aeon, we all know that. The question is, who would she pick to become the fayth? You're probably gonna vote for Tidus, that's why I'm taking him out :P:rolleyes:

Please write why you selected that character.

I think Lulu would be the one....from what I remember she was the first one to offer herself to become the Final Aeon. If I'm wrong, then she fits best...she would feel that she finaly protected that last summoner she was with before becoming a guardian for Yuna(the one you fight to get Yojimbo).

I would imagine she'd choose Kimahri, he's protected her since she was a child and he'd sacrifice anything to protect Yuna - even his own life.

I've always had a feeling it was Lulu as well. I don't exactly remember if it was mentioned in the game, but from what I felt, Lulu seemed to have this protective aura about her when it came to Yuna, so it would just make more sense that Lulu would step up as Yuna's Final Aeon. Either her or Kimahri.

As for Tidus, I don't think Yuna would've picked him anyway. =/ Besides, wouldn't it be like...impossible? Or well...maybe not. Jecht did choose to become a Final Aeon for Lord Braska and became Sin.

...Whoa, Tidus as Sin. o.o

I chose Lule, because she offered to become The Final Aeon, and she would make a kick ass final aeon at that too

I would have thought Auron would be the one. I can see him stepping up even more than Lulu, and even though if someone else stepped up, I think Auron would make it so that he would be the one.

Tidus was very unlikely to be chosen. Even if he stepped up, Yuna would never let him, and I don't think any of the other gaurdians would let him either.

I'm not so sure, but I just thought it could be Rikku. The Al Bhed wanted to steal summoners so that they couldn't get to Zanarkand, Rikku wanted the same. Why did she join the adventure anyway? I get it that she's Yuna's cousin and everything. There's a good saying "If you can't beat them, join them" Rikku couldn't stop Yuna from her pilgrimage so she joined. She was scared but if that's what it took, I think that Rikku was preparing to become the fayth for the Final Summoning

It couldn't have been Auron, he was an unsent so it might not have worked, and Tidus was a dream so that wouldn't have worked either.

I chose Wakka, I think Yuna may have needed Kimahri and Lulu most and Wakka was kinda useless:O

Actually, Jecht was a dream as well, but he was still able to become a Final Aeon. So Tidus could have become a Final Aeon as well...

i don't think she would have had the choice Kimahri would have nominated himself due to the idea that he would do anything to make sure yuna lived and Sin was destroyed, and also all of his race were apparently kiled by Seymour so he would have join them in the most honorable way he could

I don't think it would have been Tidus anyways as he isn't really real is he? It couldn't have been Auron cause he's already dead.....

The first person that sprung to mind is Lulu, she seems like the most willing to sacrifice herself for Yuna

*edit* noticed Mitsukis point about Jecht also being a dream.....lol, good point.

If Lulu becomes Sin maybe Sin turns black and becomes an emo just like Lulu and if it was Kimahrii it would be blue...>_<
