The Nine Worlds [SU/D]

The Reaper

Name: Thanato

Age: Unknown

Race: God of Death

Appearance: Thanato chooses to appear as a human with a height of roughly 6' 6". His torso, arms and legs are wrapped in ancient bandages, which appear to be in the process of rotting away, though they have not changed for many millenia. The skin and flesh beneath these bandgaes is an off grey/green colour, and in some places hangs from the bleached white bones beneath in great swathes. The hands which creep from the end of these bandages are no better than skeletal, with the flesh dangling uselessly from several fingers and trailing veins, too long without blood, hanging limp at the wrists.

Worn over the bandages is a floor length robe, the colour of midnight. It's appearence however, is not better than the rest of Thanato. Torn and shredded in places, with a mixture of dirt and dust caking the bottom, it too would appear to have seen literally thousands of years of use with no respite. The only part in what could be considered useable condition is the hood, which sits swept up over its wearer's head.

Or what was perhaps once a head. Where one would find a face on a normal human instead sits a mask of flesh of the same grey/geen shade as the rest of the body. Two gaping sockets sits where eyes may once has existed, and where a nose would normally be is nothing more than the bare bone of the skulll beneath.

Stertching out at awkward angles from his back are a pair of black feathered wings. The vones and tendons beneath the layers of feathers are visible in some places, particularly at the joints. The feathers themselves stick out at odd angles, appearing to be broken in many places, and matted into great clumps in others. His total wingspan at full extention is over four feet, adding to his already fear inspiring appearence.

Gender: N/A

Personality: As the God of Death, Thanato has only one personality, cold and entirely heartless (literally too). His job is to decide which of those who have already died will suffer in eternal pain. His true purpose is to decide who must suffer, and either cause that suffering on his fortress world, or collect them and bring them to that world where the torturing will begin.

Weapons: A Scythe. Symbolic of his position, the scythe he carries at all times is greater in length than his own height. The blade itself is over three foot in length. The overall size and weight of this weapon make it fairly unweildy, and almost impossible to wield for any normaly human, however his thousands of years of using it, and position as a god mean he can use it as effectively as any standard rank and file soldier would use a sword.

However it's main purpose is to cause immense pain to those who are destined for a life of eternal damnation. He prides himself on his ability to torture the souls of those who have departed, or cause unimaginable amounts of pain to those who have not yet died.

Abilities: Touch of Death: By merely touching someone, Thanato can drain their physical and mental strength. The effects upon the person he touches vary in severity and length depending on how long he has direct contact (skin/bone on skin) with his target.

Less than one second: For example accidentally brushing against some exposed flesh.

The person who has come into contact will feel cold, shiver unexpectedly and perhaps have a slight lingering feeling of dread. Nothing more.

One to two seconds: Proper physical contact, for example stroking someone's face, or an attempt to attack with uncovered flesh i.e. a punch/slap.

The part of the body which has come into contact with Thanato will suddenly feel numb. The owner of this limb may feel nauseous for a few seconds.

Around five seconds: An attempt to strangle or any other sort of physical contact.

The person who has come into contact will feel physically drained in whichever part of the body has touched Thanato. A more severe feeling of nausea. Again these effects will only last for a few seconds.

Extreme prolonged contact (~15 seconds): Perhaps being held or pinned down, or again strangled.

The person who has come into contact will feel physically weak all over, and may even drop any heavy objects. May feel tired if they are not particularly mentally strong.

Around 30 seconds: As if attempting to kill someone by strangulation.

The user will feel extremely weak. They may even be unable to stand. May actually vomit if not overly physically strong, and become unconcious if not mentally strong.

One minute or more:

Death.

Despite their dilapidated appearence, his wings allow him to fly short distances, or move along, slightly above ground level for extended periods of time, giving the illusion that he is floating.

As a "God of Death" his visage can strike fear into all but the bravest of warrios, and those who stare deep into his eye sockets are said to go slowly mad with visions of terror and death. This combined with his ability to cause unexpected and unwanted feelings allow him to play a role of "fearmonger" amongst those who he chooses as his enemies, as well as those who must suffer at his hands.

History: He has always been a God. Born one, he grew up and was given his role many millenia ago, and has fulfilled that role ever since, on pain of exile. One with his power over the final part of someone's life must perform the role to the full. This is done from within his fortress on the Seventh World.

Over the years, he has hunted those who have been damned to eternal torture, following suggestions from both the side of Chaos and of Order, since to him to makes no difference who is being tortured, or truely, for what reason. all he cares is that when all is said and done, he knows who suffer eternally, and because of this, suffer they shall, be it in this life or the next.

More recently, as the fighting has escalted, his dark and cruel art has had more and more calling, since there are those on both sides who deserve torture, some more than others, and he is more than willing to carry out this task.

Weaknesses: His ability requires actual contact with a target, and stronger people are effected less by it. Also, since it would be possible to break out of any sort of lock or hold, it is unlikely the time will ever reach more than 5 - 10 seconds or so.

He has no choice as to who his ability effects. Be it ally or enemy, they WILL be affected by it if they are touched.

Being a god of death, and effectively evil because of it, Holy or "light" abilities have increased effects against him, however use of them against him may provoke him to fight, despite technically being neutral.

His completely average close combat ability and lack of means to fight at range means he relies on his ability to strike fear into the hearts of his enemies, before either cutting them down or forcing them into submission using his ability.

Hope this isn't too bad. Wasn't involved last time, so not got too much of an idea as to what happened. Also, let me know if the ability needs changing, seemed like a good idea, but might be a little too much.

I’m posting my bios now, but I’ve done it assuming that the location for the start of the story is the same. I’ve noticed though that New York isn’t mentioned (unless I’m missing something important), so my question would be this: Is this still based in New York to begin with? Is it still set in modern times? Or is this now different and set somewhere else or in a Nordic historical / mythological landscape which isn’t set in the modern world with a mythological twist?

I’ve copied and pasted my bios from last time, with a few alterations. Sarvophis is still located in the Hudson in my bio, but if the location has changed then I’ll change my bio too.

The Serpent:

Name: Sarvophis.

Age: Unknown.

Race: Huge Basilisk.

Appearance: A 50 ft long, thick, grey scaled snake – with purple and light blue spots, and a green colouring around the eyes. A long greenish beard hangs from the chin. His head is horned; three in a line at the very top of the skull, and 4 horns on the back of the jaw, one at the top, and one towards the bottom on either side. Three large green plates stand erect on the back. He also has three small spikes on the tip of the tail.

serpent.png

Personality: Calm for the most part, and intelligent. He will be no harm to anyone if treated kindly and with respect, but will be driven to rage if suffering humiliation or shame, or if it takes horribly to the personality of an individual. He has strong views on how humans and animals should behave, and their place in the universe. Upsetting this view easily drives him to anger.

Weapons: Fangs, spiked tail, venom.

Abilities: magic with an emphasis on illusion (very rarely used and significantly drains his energy when he does), Ouroboros roll (erm… You get the idea, this would be too silly sounding perhaps).

History: Lived in Yggdrasil in a comfortable cavern, listening to echoes from Earth and other realms, but emerged with the recent chaos in modern day New York. As a prelude to hard times to come he was sucked from his home and plopped in the Hudson, where he now resides. He is chased by monster hunters (not the violent variety, but the kind that try to snap photographs of Loch Ness and men dressed as Big Foot) trying to become famous. His existence is still widely disputed, but he has quite a following in New York at the moment, much to his disgust and humiliation.

Weaknesses: Don’t tug the beard!

The Shapeshifter:

Name: Alasdair Saiserit.

Age: In his thirties, though his form can change to depict any age.

Race: Pure One.

Appearance: He has a form he takes more often than others, but there is no guarantee that this is his true form.

Regardless, this form is:
Height – 6 ft.1.
Hair – Bald, but has a goatee.
Eyes – Green eyes, with black eyeshadow he wears underneath.
Eyebrows – Has relatively thick and bushy eyebrows, almost a monobrow.
Nose – pointed and fairly large.
Ears – Not large, but very round in shape and they stick out.

Attire:
Trousers – Dark grey cloth.
Gloves – Dark grey material.
Boots – Wooden boots painted black – painted with the face of a demon (see history).
Shoulder pads – wood painted black – Again, painted with the face of a demon (see history).
Belt – dark grey – with a gold buckle.
Necklace made from the skeletons of two snakes tied together at the neck and tail, the heads hanging down over his chest.

He carries sand in a glass vial which he sprinkles on himself to transform (see history).

shapeshifterr.png

Gender: Male.

Personality: Dark sense of humour… An interest in playing pranks by leading people into situations by pretending to be other people, or other creatures.
He almost always makes friends only to achieve a goal, which is usually to humiliate or kill a specific victim or group of people. If he is ever insulted or angered by a person, he will devise a plan to destroy their lives and then kill them. These friends he manipulates and often destroys their lives by framing them (by shape-shifting to look like them) for the crimes that he commits.
He would happily kill any innocent person who stands in his way, intentionally or accidentally. Civilians of some villages and towns could be slaughtered for the mistakes of a small group that Alasdair took offence to.

Weapons: A weapon similar in design to the macuahuitl; but is a long wooden sword, with gold blades embedded into the wood as opposed to obsidian.
The wood is painted black, and with the face of the father demon.

Abilities: Shapeshifting.

History:
His father was possessed by a demon (the same one depicted on his boots, shoulder pads and weapon) at the time in which his mother conceived him, and hence he is technically the son of a demon.
He discovered he had an ability to shape-shift at 16 years old, though he could never control it. He could never keep a shift without holding his breath and thinking hard.

At the age of 20 he was banished from his town to the desert for the murder of his parents (who he was persuaded to kill by the demon, who told him how powerful he could become).

He found his constant here among the sand itself, and grew to manipulate it and use it to transform himself. With this sand he can transform to anything he pleases, and keep his form, but without it he is trapped in his current form (whichever it may be). In some forms (when he transforms into a creature and wishes not to be detected) he will hide the vial, in which he keeps sand, underneath his flesh, forcing him to cut himself open in order to retrieve it when he wishes to change back.
After training his ability he went back to his town and transformed to look like the town leader and then he committed a horrendous crime. The real leader was executed following a rebellion, for many saw him do the act.
Alasdair then transformed to reveal himself to the absolute horror of the townsmen seconds after the leaders demise. He first became the leader, and shocked everyone as it revealed it was always him, and then revealed himself After that he burned the town to the ground and never looked back.

He’s wandered about creating mischief and being a murderous git for many, many, many years.

Weakness: Loss of identity. He had shapeshifted so often in his youth that he has forgotten the true form of his appearance, and merely tries to guess at how he should now appear. This drives him mad at times.
His main weakness is losing the sand that he keeps so that he can keep his transformations. Losing his sand will trap him in his current form, no matter what this form may be. He will need to find the vial, or spend years training with another so that he can master his ability again.

If anything is in serious need of editing or expanding then let me know.

Okay, i went nuts in the History, but meh. I was feeling bored. Don't forget Brunhilde's themes as well

The Samurai

Name
Temahari "Tomoe" Tomohane

Age:
16

Race
:
Human

Gender:
Female

Appearance:

Belzebub3-1.jpg

Tomohane is a pure blood Japanese from generations back. Her complexion is oriental with long black hair that reaches to the small of her back. She isn't particularly tall, being 165cm tall and weighing in at about 52 kg. While she does do regular exercise, Tomohane gets her strength from constant fighting. Cumulatively on a daily basis, she has enough strength to match males. Her eyes are chocolate brown

Attire (For reference. Its a mix of all three girls):
Tomohane has a very typical Japanese punk appearance, mostly due to the fact she is one. Her clothes consist of a simple short sleeved white school shirt, a long navy blue school dress with black knee high socks with black loafers while on her neck is a loosely done red tie.

Over this ensemble is her bozoku jacket with Bousou Tenshi (Beserk Angels) in kanji vertically in red on her back from her shoulder blades to her waist. Above the first kanji is a yellow chrysanthemum badge, similar to the Japanese Imperial seal. Rather than wearing it, it hangs on her shoulder like a mantle.

Personality:
Tomohane has something that is similar to dual personality. On one side, she is seriously protective of her friends, easily firing up and becoming a hyper lethal vector. Considering the area she lives in and the school she attends, violence is the mainstay negotiation method. She would prefer to avoid combat, but when it arises, she would be the first in. Her method of combat is very calm and skill based. It has been noted that she does not brawl. Tomohane's skill has earned her enough respect and fear for her group to be the most powerful in the school, easily matching others from different schools.

On the other side of the spectrum, she has her normal girly side. School is school. She only fights because its the way the school runs. When outside, she would act like any normal girl (albeit trying her best to hide it from people she knows). Before, there is a strict line dividing these two personas, but as of late, this seems to be blurring.

Weapons:

As of right now, her main weapon is a bokuto, which she keeps slipped into a cloth loop behind her waist, hidden by her coat. It is 105 cm in length. Later on, she would acquire a family heirloom katana named Sandai Kitetsu before finally finding the legendary katana
named Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi, which she, at times, dual wields. (Yea, i changed folklore a bit so i can get that name. Bite me)

Abilities:

Martial Arts: Being one of the rare delinquents with actual martial arts backing, Tomohane is an expert in bare handed fighting, particularly in throws, locks and powerful critical strikes. Many of her style concentrates on incapacitating opponents through joint attacks and soft target strikes. Oddly, her main style is Bai Ji Quan

Rising Spirit: Following traditional samurai codes and teachings from her martial arts, when reaching a certain battle height, Tomohane enters Rising Spirit. Rather than fighting based on human senses, Tomohane enters a mode that lets her mind go with the flow. Her body seems to be able to read the flow of nature, allowing hair breadth dodging and inhuman speed and weighted sword strike, even with two swords. As if channeling the olden day Kenseis, her sword play exceeds that of even modern masters, reflecting truly the style of the ancient times of actual combat. In this mode, her eyes seem to be glazed and her movements seem to be without wasted action. Impossible human feats are performed as if the body's limitation has been lifted, including greatly increased speed, strength and reaction.

Weaknesses:

As with all melee fighters, Tomohane lacks range. She compensates by being able to keep her opponents within her strike range, but regardless, lack of range attack is still apparent.

History:
Tomohane comes from a long line of traditional Japanese family, in which her father and mother along with all four grandparents migrated overseas where she was the first Temahari not born in Japan. Regardless of area, the Temahari traditions were no less harsh, where Tomohane was put through the wringer with martial arts from the male and traditional female Japanese plus Naginatajutsu.

Unlike normal parents, they sought her out to be a renowned fighter like them. Therefore, instead of protecting her from danger, they allowed her to be exposed. She was sent to the worse of schools and allowed her to fight and fall and experience defeat and revival as a means of tempering her fighting spirit. This was their ethos for their parenting, in which was another of their plan in hardening up and training their daughter.

During her first few weeks at her new school, she had ran into trouble with keeping a low profile as the Four Queens of the school began dividing up the new students. However, Tomohane still managed to form a group of friends taht also tried to stay away from the machinations, but when it failed and were caught up in a massive battle, Tomohane stroke back. With the advantage of training and determination bore from continuous brutal training regime, Tomohane stormed the battlefield of the school, rallied her friends and proceeded to brutal beat down two of the Queen Factions. Now solidly involved with the conflict, Tomohane saw that the only way to have anything remotely peaceful is to have total domination of the school. Assimilating many of the first years and those from the defeated factions, it did not take long for Tomohane to bring total control of the school under her.

With that done, the only thing left for her was to keep the status quo and beat back enemy schools. Unfortunately, her innate fighting spirit and blood makes her then bring the fight to the attacker at their school and subsequently take over the territory. As of now, most of the schools within the district are under her school's control with only few others that are smart to not challenge the Berserk Angels. With their growing territories, Tomohane was called out by New York "School Representatives" to discuss the Berserk Angel's aggressive expansion, which she decided, against the concern of her sisters, to go alone, oblivious as to what was going to happen very shortly.

The Lord

Name: Desperado Chaos

Appearance:
DesperadoChaos.png

Desperado stands at 8ft 5 and weighs 350Lbs.
Gender: Male
Personality: Chaotic devious cunning and powerful, The lord of chaos is not one to be trifled with. His control over all things chaotic gives him more strength then most of the other gods, but this just gave Desperado an extremely large ego. He is overconfident and has been known to underestimate some opponents. Desperado Chaos may be cocky but he is incredibly fast. This powerful combo of speed and power makes Desperado Chaos a challenging opponent.
Weapons:His burning claymore, which is one of the only known weapons of the gods that can be wielded by any person who is fully Chaotic.
Abilities: all things chaotic, His favorite ability is Chaos control, which sends even the most gentle deer into a chaotic rage attacking any whose heart doesn't contain Chaos.
History:Ruler of Chaos and all within
Weaknesses: Order

That's nowhere near enough. XD I'll need actual detail on the appearance, such as height, eye color etc. Personality I need at least two paragraphs. Weapons have to be physical and at least moderately described, and abilities and history must be detailed.

Take a look at the layout/depth of some of the other bios in this thread (As examples, Argor's, Tipsy's). Use that as a basis for what yours should look like. Details, details, details.

Animal control is OK, but doesn't quite cut it. How powerful is the animal control, how much does it drain him etc?

I'm also OK with The Lord having abilities of fire and darkness. Just state how he uses these and how much it drains.

Since your character is a God, I need opinions on humans, Order and the use of power in your personality.

Appearance, describe clothing he wears, and basically expand more on the picture. History still isn't good enough I'm afraid. As for weaknesses, nature, water and light magic will suffice.

Well most libraries have a decent set of computers. Feel free to go on a computer and edit it at some point. We won't be starting for some time.

I would if I could fit more info... My PS3 won't let me type anything else in that post... I'm trying to fit as much as possible... but that's all that fits

Also he is a demon and thus doesn't wear clothing...

Now... for mah Lancer Einherjar from Yamato!

Name
Gozen
Matabei (Gozen is surname)

Gender
Female

Age
23 at death

Race
Demi - God (Einherjar to Valkyrie Brunhilde)

Appearance

Matabei.jpg

Tall, leggy and buxom. Matabei was a Onna Bugeisha from Japan. She stands at an impressive 190cm tall. Her most distinguishing features are that she is female, her height, her bust size and her long legs. As a feared and famed warrior during her times, even by male standards, she is strong, granted by her size despite retaining her female curves. Her hair is white, done in a mid pony tail, trailing down to her waist while she has a slightly off eagle wing bangs. Her side bangs reaches down to her upper chest. Matabei's eye colour is a hazel green.

Attire
Matabei was taken in by Brunhilde at her death (obviously). However, she was not fully armoured as she had shed a good deal of it during her last moments. What she wears a fundonshi with a black hakama with a very obvious side vents and extremely flaired pants hem to the point it almost looks like a dress. The hakama hem spools over her feet. Her shoes are what lifts it off the floor. On her body, she has a white, sleeveless, backless kimono. Matabei wears short ankle length white tabi (socks) with 15cm high wooden geta. These shoes are steel plated underneath for extra damage and allow the use of her feet in combat. Used to tie her pony tail is a long red ribbon in which she makes a cradle where she slips a wakizashi securely into.

All that remains from her original armour are two things, her decorative headpiece and helm as well as her tekkou on her arms. Her helm is a silver coloured forehead piece. This piece actually does protect her head and is held on by two straps on each side that is wrapped around her head and tied together below her pony tail. On the top of her head is a small silver headpiece
with silver wire decorations and intricate carved details along with pearls at the side, it is meant to resemble a dragon's head and on either side are a short column of tiger fur shaped in a cylindrical manner, and on top of these are three peacock feathers before the pheasant tail feathers are stuck on top. It reaches a total length of 110 cm, making her already impressive height even taller. The pheasant tails stand rather erect and only bends backwards slightly around 90cm up. They are highly flexible so they do not break easily and can bend easily. This gives her an overbearing 3.15 meter height in total. This is kept on her head via two steel bands which can be clipped onto two clips on the interior of the forehead piece.

Her last piece of armour are her tekkou or gauntlets. They are the only piece that has not been destroyed in the fight due to the fact it is made with overlapping plating, so it is much better than her other pieces since they are designed to take blows.

Personality
Relatively light hearted, Matabei takes things as they come. She is the foil for her Valkyrie, despite the Goddess' incomprehensible age. To Hild, she is the big sister/ mother rolled into one. When with Hild, Matabei teases like an older sibling and tends to cater and look out for Hild with the occasional chiding.

Born in the ancient era of Japan and to a noble family, Matabei is well mannered and cultured. With everyone she meets, she gives equal respect, particularly those that she cross swords with.

On the battlefield, she enjoys the fight, not on a blood thirsty level, but the process of clashing blades, competition. To her, it is like sparring, even though one usually ends with death. Rather than revel in the ending of her opponents life, she thanks every single one for raising her skill.

One thing that is to be noted that she, like most Japanese, is absolutely devoted to her master, that being Hild.

Weapons
Her weapons are varied. She is mainly known for her spear and naginata skills, particularly wielding both simultaneously, made even easier when turned into an Einherjar. However, she is well versed in the samurai arts of swordsmanship, archery, martial arts and to some extent, ninjutsu in the real life sense (not naruto style).

Her weapons are special in that it is linked to her. Through an ability gained during her endless combat with Hild, her weapons have a limit range in which, once she exceeds, it will dissipate and return to her. (More in ability)

As a battle ready, front line Samurai, Matabei carried most of her weapons onto the field.

Both her Naginata and her Yari have identical shaft which it is latched onto. Made of a relatively flexible metal, the shafts are 1.5 meters in length.

Jumonji Yari: The Yari head is a cross in shape with upwards tilting blades that curve towards the opponents on the horizontal cross. It is 60 cm long with the cross reaching a span of 30cm. At the apex of the curve, there is a small point in which enables pull back attacks to work. Mounted on the shorter length cap on the shaft.

Naginata: The naginata head is broad and about 60cm long. It has a small rectangular tsuba. It is mounted on the shorter length cap on the shaft.

Katana and Wakizashi: The short sword stuck under her pony tail, handle pointing right. Its length is 45 cm with a 15cm handle. The katana is slipped into her right waist held by tying the cloth cradle to the hakama. It is 90 cm in length with the handle being 20 cm. Usually, due to its small size relative to Matabei, she dual wields both of them.

Yumi Bow: This bow is massive, being 2.3 meters (wiki it up) in length. The bow is unique in that she does not have to carry it. It is a summon based weapon. Should she need to use it, she can "exchange" her two polearms for material substitution to allow the bow to form in her realm. The quiver is on her back behind her waist with all her arrows. As with a custom bow, its power is much greater than that of mortal bows, giving it a deadly effective range of 400m

Abilities
When human, she was already possessed impressive physical prowess. When turned into an Einherjar, these prowess exponentially rose in order for her to be able to keep up with Brunhilde's battles. While she herself does not contain any spells or such, her proficiency in the arts were carried over and enhanced by the changing of her being.

The two thing that Matabei can do only after death is her material substitution summoning and weapon return. As stated before, all her weapons including arrows have a range in which once exited, returns to her. This range makes her battlefield within the radius of 450m. Once outside, her weapons bar her bow (if equipped with pole arms) or her pole arms (if equipped with bow) will return to her hands. Tied in with that is material substitution. Due to their size, Matabei can summon her bow via substituting her pole arms to host the space in which it came from. This can be done in any combination, whether it be one pole arm equipped or whatever.

Weaknesses
As much as she has powered up in terms of her human self, Matabei is still, in comparison to many of the Gods and beings, a junior officer. Her lack of magic means she would be at a distinct disadvantage to beings such as the higher tier gods and their other counterparts. The only saving grace that prevents her from being outright dashed to pieces in battle is her ability to adapt and her experience over the centuries. Through that, she is able to compensate mostly for her weakness.

History (Mostly fantasy, particularly the war parts)
Matabei was born within the samurai family of Gozen. As with any nobles, participation and education in the arts of war was compulsory. Matabei went along with her siblings in their lessons and soon found out she had more talent than her male siblings in warfare, but woefully weak in many female arts. Her father was sorely tempted to forbid her from the lessons, but only with her mother's plea that she can continue as a hobby, was she allowed to continue to fight.

As was common, Lord Matori, her father's lord, went to war with a neighbouring fiefdom. Her brothers were sent into the war, where, like many other, most perished. Her father and her youngest brother returned, maimed badly and unable to continue the fight. As the battle raged on closer, rather than wait and pray that it would turn away, Matabei took up arms and stormed the battlefield, tearing through the opposing army. Like a demon, Matabei rampaged amongst the enemy line, causing confusion and panic, which allowed the Matori army to crush them.Lord Matori was quick to recognise such prowess and promptly added her to his ranks, regardless of protest from any direction. It was a smart investment as every battle she entered, they came out sweeping.

Despite being given a high officer rank, she was still treated as a front line soldier. Her purpose was more to raise morale and act as a banner. This did not affect Matabei. Even after the war, Matabei was kept within the ranks and the Matori Fief began aggressive expansion. Within a few short years, it had doubled its land size and contested easily with the powerful Iiga Fief next to it. By now, Matabei's reputation far exceeds herself and was to be a name written down in Japanese Annals. In one of Japan's bloodiest war, both Iiga and Matori fought to a stand still. The war raged on for a few years until the Iiga decided to roll their dice on a morale fight. With a large portion of their army, they set out to destroy the army Matabei was part of. By killing off their morale booster, the rest of the Matori should fold much more easily.

In the battle that followed, the Matori were ambushed and outnumbered. The battle was fierce and close. The Iiga underestimated Matabei's powers in which every Matori man fought till death and beyond. It was costly as both armies were almost entirely wiped out. Matabei was the lone Matori survivor against the final platoon of 30 men. Beaten, battered and bruised, Matabei dropped most of her now useless armour off and took the preemptive strike. Her pole arms swept exhausted men off their feet, crushing their heads with her geta. As the numbers dwindled past 20, she lost her main weapons when she threw and impaled two soldiers and engaged the remaining soldiers with her katana, before it too slipped from her hand.

Only 5 survivors remained, and by that time, Matabei's vision was so messed that these five's face were not even recognisable. At this stage, with her wakizashi, Matabei dispatched two more before locking into a grab with a third. It was then when the remaining two pierced the third with their spears and implaed Matabei through the stomach. With such a large wound plus extreme fatigue, Matabei only managed to kick back the man that had also been stabbed and dropped to the ground, dying. Blood poured out of her at an alarming rate and just before her vision blurred completely, a winged warrior descended onto the battlefield. A single feather dropped onto her chest and in an instant, Matabei felt her self floating, staring down at her now lifeless body, one amongst hundreds. Besides her stood a woman in armour with wings. She asked one simple question

"Will you walk the path with me?"

Without pausing, Matabei stood and strode to the woman's side before they disappeared from sight.

Approved Tipsy. Nice to see your einherjar come back from the dead. (Bad pun.)

Well you could do that, and ask one of the mods to turn them into one post if you're having trouble doing so.

History:Ruler of Chaos and all within, The Lord despises all who worship or are in any way tainted by Order. Desperado has tried for many eons to gain the favor of the neutral gods, mainly Death. But he failed each time, Desperado is very volatile and hates weaklings, thus over time he gained the knowledge and power to enhance the maximum potential of his minions, and then transform them into chaotic creatures. Desperado has left his domain to reek havoc on the mortal realm many times, as he loves to cause Chaos and mass destruction. As it stands, no one in any of the realms has been able to physically wound The Lord of Chaos, and no one has ever fought him... and lived. Even Desperado's own minions fear his brutality, and thus have pledged to succeed at all costs or die trying. His brutal nature has also started to affect those who come within a 25 mile radius of him, if they are weak minded and or weak hearted they will fly into a rage and thus become Desperado's slave. Thus he stands as Lord of Chaos.

I'm sorry, but I really don't feel you're ready as an RPer to play the role of a god. You'd be better suited as a mortal character, or an assistant of the Pure Ones. Sorry, but the gods really aren't for beginner RPers.
