The Paths of Tragedy

OOC: as I stated over MSN, Im confused as fucking hell. Nag at me if I do something wrong ^^
-------------------------

Jonad had just seen the doctor off, and the living patient in a cart.
He should be just fine if he followed Jonad's instructions.

As a foul wind started to blow, and Jonad looked around.
He saw nothing special.

As he turned back, he saw Cairn on his knees as a punch landed on the rock ground.
There where blood coming from his left shoulder, and a fairly vicious character was standing beside him.

Jonad ran over to him, as a healer, he should do whatever he could to make Cairn battle ready.

As Jonad came over, he felt an evil coming from the sword. Not a normal evil, but a concentrated force, that was sure to harm anyone touching it.
He immediately took off the nessesairy armor, to get closer to the wound, it was deep, but not too severe.
His hand glowed the deepest green, and the wound closed over the matter of seconds.
But this was not enough, this feeling, the fatigue.
Cairn was infected with something, something evil.
It had to be connected to the wound, and the aura that his sword was giving off.

Cairn had 2 major problems. one was lack of fatigue, and one was the parasite infecting him.

Jonad's left hand glowed pink for an instant, as he placed the hand on Cairn's neck.
That should give him the energy needed.
Seconds after, Jonad took a deep breath.
His right hand started glowing the purest of white.
"Interrupt me as soon as you feel healthy" Jonad ordered his companion.

Jonad put his left hand on top of his right, the glow strengthened.
A small grin was on his mouth, as he placed both hands on the wound.

Jonad started sweating, this was no normal parasite, this was one if evil and wicked origin.
One that was the complete opposite from Jonad.

Cairn should feel not pain, except a warmth, and his stamina returning, both from the 'Adrenaline Boost' as well as from the removal of the parasite.

Jonad on the other hand, felt a pain. A strong pain.
Normally, Purigato would neutralize the parasites, but in this case, the parasite where trying to attack back.
Jonad did not let it happen, as the parasite struck back, he concentrated more. The parasite where not too spread in the body, but it was strong, almost as it had a mind of its own.

"It should be completely gone in a minute" Jonad forced out through clenched teeth to Cairn

Cairn felt the parasite and all the impurities being drawn out of his bloodstream by Jonad's purifying powers. Somehow, the spell Jonad casted on Cairn restored his body, though slowly due to the amount of time the parasite seemed to be inhabiting Cairn's body. "Thank you Jonad...." Cairn remained quiet and relaxed awaiting for the spell to fully heal the sickness.

As for the man in dark armor, for some strange reason the man did not attack Jonad, but instead praised him for his healing abilities. Slightly intrigued by Jonad and his powers, the dark knight turned his attention to Jonad, temporarily ignoring the battle before him. "I see you have the powers of the gods coursing through your veins. Your abilities will come in handy when the time comes...."

"There" Jonad stated as the glow from his hands faded, and Jonad fell to his knees.
He was drained of energy. And hoping that Cairn was healed.

He vaguely heard the Dark Knight stated something about Jonad being useful when the time came.

Jonad looked at him with a curious look, but could not see anything past his helmet.
Jonad let out a small chuckle. "G'night" he stated. Knowing well how 'Purigato' would drain him.

He fell to his left, and ended up in a deep sleep like state.

Skaol looked from Samael to the strange dark knight, lowering his weapon, unsure which was posing the bigger threat. He then looked over at the young man with the giant sword that had attacked with a strange energy. The dark knight had called him a dragon, but was that possible? Skaol returned his attention to the dark knight and raised his rapier.

"You speak of this world's end. By Aldabra's glory, I ask what you mean by this."

((I take it that our dark knight knows Jake is part Dragon? Because, Jake isn't in Dragon form :P He just looks like a human kid now :P

And I'm confused, is it Skaol or Wylliam that's around right now o_O))

Jake cursed profusely, noticing a black knight that had arrived. How had he missed that?

He also noticed Jonad going to heal Cairn. With little more than a thought, Jake shot over and placed himself between both groups: the black knight and the silver knight in front, and Jake's group behind.

It wasn't long before the dark knight spoke. "So dragon, here we are. You've come to resurrect the glory of your ancient race. Have you forgotten the role given to your race? I fear you have...." Jake twitched his ears in annoyance. What did this man know? Jake had been fighting to save the Dragons for two years, tutored by the man who had first saved the Dragons. What did a knight, dressed in such cruel-looking armour, know about the Dragons. Jake didn't have long to speculate, though, as the new fighter continued his speech.

"I am not your enemy, nor your destroyer. I came here to assist you in your destiny. You must prevent Sukani's return. If Sukani's soul merges with the "dark one", our fate is doomed....Stop it at all cost! Jake, Savior of the Dragons, Hero of Destiny..." Jake's eyes narrowed slightly at this. This man knew something about Sukani. But what was all the 'Hero of Destiny' stuff? He knew that he was one of the more powerful people in the universe, but he hardly thought himself unique or special (in spite of the continuous praises he received from Hera).

Jake's voice was a low growl as he replied. "Look, buddy, don't lecture me on the Dragons. I've been saving them for a long time." Jake's eyes swept the new man as he continued. "And you're hardly one to talk about saving anything, if I could judge by appearance. But there is one thing I want to know."

"What do you know about Sukani?" Was this the person they'd been looking for?

"Ahh your human disguise does not deceives my eye of truth....yet I have already gave you enough information for now. As for this battle, you should end it soon, for fighting only makes the "dark one" stronger....you must unite, or you will all fall....or if you wish to become my enemy, let your foolishness born out of inexperience guide your ways..." The dark knight said as he fixed his eyes on a human Jake who seemed to be focusing most of his attention on the dark monster Samael. As he stared upon them, the dark knight lowered his sword and let the tip of his blade rest on the ground. His reddish eyes glowed with a grim light, the only thing that could be seen deep within his helm.

Mikhail

In the city of Palacious the dark figure of Mikhail watched over the crowd, after the successful plan to destroy his half brothers reputation Mikhail had risen in the ranks of aldabrans forces...

"This is end of my brother, i will now regain the place that i have deserved for my entire life, without Cairn Seseu won't stand for long and then i too will have the respect of all these people, they will fear me and obey me like puppets."

He awaited for instructions from his master, feeling bored for not having anyone to kill. He did not knew where his half brother and company add hidden themselfes, but it did not matter since sooner or later the rats would crawl out of their holes...

"Excuse me?" Jake growled. "Given me enough information?" Jake slammed the edge of the Soul Shredder on the ground, making a large crack in the earth. "You start talking about Sukani, you'd better keep talking. Do you have any idea what that...that...DEMON has done?" It wasn't another second before Jake went Kame Kariyu-Shina.

His body had transformed in a blaze of golden energy, which quickly subsided into a gentle, caressing flame. His muscles bulged slightly, causing a ripple in his baggy shirt. But the most radical changes were in his eyes. His eyes were fierce and determined, and he now had no compunctions against fighting all-out.

With his power doubled, Jake knew that he was easily more than a match for his foes. Pointing his sword at the man, he spoke deeply. "Listen," he said menacingly, "Either you tell me about Sukani, or we fight, here and now. I don't give a fuck about the details; if you're keeping information about that monster secret, then you are his ally. I don't want to be your enemy, but if you stick up for that...disgusting, loathsome, vile piece of shit, you become mine." In a flourishing golden flame, Jake transformed into his Dragon form. With exception to his toned muscles and golden aura, he looked practically the same as he had when he was a Dragon before. But his power was doubled, and his strength as a Dragon was even greater than that of his human form.

"Alright buddy, tell me what you're gonna do." Jake eyed the man, and growled threateningly.

The dark knight seems amused by Jake's sudden childish act, and at the same time deeply disappointed to see he was not even near as wise as Hera Ledro. He gave away a few, slow yet consecutive taunting laughs, as he fixed his red eyes on an enraged Jake. "You are so full of yourself, aren't you Jake? So similar to Sukani himself, or perhaps you are worst than him. Your great power will be your downfall...how come you allow your emotions control you so willingly? Haven't you learned anything from Sukani's mistakes? Well at least Sukani didn't allow his emotions to control him, hell he barely had any...." The dark knight lowered his sight as he stared to the ground, as he sighed seeing he had no other choice but to accept Jake's challenge. "It seems your hard rock head only learns the hard way....it is a shame, I expected more from someone being educated by the great Hera Ledro himself instead of finding a failed excuse of a savior so blinded by his cosmic sized ego.... but...." He soon brought his now demonic eyes to Jake and rose his blade threateningly aiming it at the now transformed dragon "If that's the only way you can learn...then prepare yourself! Face the wrath of the Silverwing Bloodline!!!!" The dark man clearly exposed his alignment, seeing he is loyal to the ancient royal family of Aldabra. He slowly walked towards Jake, the stone ground under his feet cracked and smoke came out with each of his foot steps. Surrounded by a dark mist, it is unclear if this man was fully evil, or if only he was using the darkness as a weapon.

((Holy crap, I'm REALLY gonna have to gt a bio up for Sukani XD He's hardly full of emotion...Yeah, maybe I should get one up and running. It kills me to make a bio for that wretch, though :'())

Jake hefted his sword and held it across his broad shoulders. He was not impressed; he'd seen people flaunt their power before, and prove to be weak. This man was different, though. Jake narrowed his eyes slightly. He was stronger, this knight, he was something else. Maybe hell give me a challenge, Jake thought. His blood was now boiling with excitement, and he could barely suppress a grin.

With a small chuckle, Jake cracked his neck and shoulders. "Alright then," he said. "You wanna fight, let's fight." Jake threw his sword off to the wall, the blade embedding itself deep into the stone.

"Let's see what you can do." Jake got into a ready stance, keeping his feet apart and his hands poised, ready for action.

Hejaloki and Julius were on the airship traveling away from Palacious.

He knew what was happening in the city. Julius was unaware.

He thought to himself, 'Must get Julius to Celesta faster. The fighting below isn't helping any.'

He paced the ship a few times then he decided to alter the engine to go faster...

((OOC: In answer to your question, Hera, it is Skaol. He had passed the bandits and then began looking for the culprit. It just so happened that he showed up after Wylliam took off with the injured men.))

Skaol dropped his arm and backed away in astonishment. He wasn't one to run from a fight, but he could clearly see that he was outmatched by both the dragon boy and the dark knight. He sighed and darted around the silver knight to where the young woman lay unconscious. If the elvin knight tried anything, he could at least protect her.

---------------------------------------

Wylliam spotted the gate ahead of him and rushed to it. After leaping onto it, he saw that the grounds outside were completely deserted, save a few guards. "Er, which gate opens into the road that leads to Vaid?" he called to one of them. Startled, the man pointed and said, "Uh, that would be the one on the opposite end of the city." Wylliam sat there in silence for a moment as a breeze fluttered his cape. "Crap!" he shouted, spinning around and dashing once more through the city, hoping not to get lost again.

Mikhail

As Mikhail was on top of one of the city walls a soldier aproached him...

Soldier:"Sir...i'm sorry to disturb you but some people heard of a man claiming to be a Silverwing descendant."

Mikhail looked in amazement, so the rumours were true the proud warriors of the Silverwing dinasty were still alive, this obviously could pose a threat to Aldabran advances.

"Do you know where the man who made this statement is now?"

Soldier:""I don't know sir...but we suspect he was running away from the city."

Mikhail smiled and looked down at the city...

Mikhail:"Well in that case tell the emperor i'm going to track this man down."

And with those last words, Mikhail jumped down into the city...

OOC: God you guys left me but I will try to catch up.

Samael dazed by the dark knight who had protected him from the blast. Stood there in silence. Not know what to do due to his three minds. Then they finally agreed.

"This dark knight that claims Silverwing blood line. He is worthy to become my master."

OOC: Hey, all of you basically ignored me. I'll have to really catch up here.

IC:
"Wait a minute. Did you say Silverwing? Tell me, are you by any chance related to Julius, or even, Lucious?" Arthvader said after hearing what the dark knight said. "If what you said is true, then prove it to me. Either we face each other here and now, ore we meet me at the tournament grounds tomorrow. This way, I'll find out if you really claim the Silverwing blood line." After saying that, Arthvader drew out his swords? Just in case he would have no choice but to fight the mysterious dark knight.

{OOC: 2 pages should be plenty...now to get back into this :P}

As if the gods had granted her some strength, Zeria groaned and her eyes fluttered open...only to behold all of the chaos that had started. She sat up, putting a hand to her head. She had a throbbing headache to match, and it wasn't helping that everyone was standing around with weapons....and that Samael was still here...

"Stop.......please....."

She shakily rose to her feet, breathing heavily and barely able to stand.

"No more fighting....please...!"

The moment He heard Zeria's Voice, Arthvader put his weapons back. He then turned is attention to Zeria. "Zeria, are you alright? Please, let me take you back to the Inn, If I know better, Jonad and Cairn should be there." He said, knowing that Zeria doesn't want any of this to happen. when he finished speaking to Zeria, Arthvader turned his attention to the dark knight. "Well, It seems I'll be bring her back. Knight, I do hope we meet at the coliseum for the tournament tomorrow. There, we'll battle to our hearts contempt. Well, What do you say?"

Tears streamed down her pale white cheeks and her eyes begged everyone to stop.

"I don't want anymore fighting...I don't want to fight anymore!...Stop all of this senseless arguing...people will only get hurt...innocent people...and this beautiful city shouldn't have to deal with this either......"

She appreciated that Arth wanted to help. She really did....but now was a time to stop the fighting. Zeria couldn't take it anymore.

"Just please.....stop...."

The dark knight laughed as he sheathed his sword, obviously he had no intention to fight Jake here knowing that their battle would end up hurting innocent people. "So Jake, you are willing to start another battle that would hurt innocent people and affect this wonderful city? Nonsense! If you insist, then we should postpone this battle for another time, I shall await for you at the ancient city of Celesta. Do not worry, fate will guide you...." The dark knight turned his back on Jake to meet face to face with Samael and the others. "Samael, your heart lies frozen by hatred and deception, I see that your love for her is pure and uncorrupted. Protect her, for Julius will not be the same once he returns to us...I fear for his fate, and ours." Then he set his eyes on Arthvader to answer his previous question "As for you Arthvader, you will know in time. It is a pity you don't recognize your former enemy. Nevertheless, your loyalty towards your friends remains unstained, and that is fortunate for all of us. Now, all your questions will be answered in Celesta. But first, meet the king, you should follow Cairn from now on."

The dark knight walked away and then remained standing still a few feet behind them. Then he rose his left hand and opened it, unleashing a few bolts of holy energy into the sky. Somehow and inexplicably, it started to rain, the fires and the smoke faded away and the malice present in the air began to disappear. The dark knight lowered his hand and turned his sight to Arthvader and the others, looking over his right shoulder. "And for those who might wonder...I am Lucius Silverwing, one of the last of my cursed bloodline. We shall all meet again, in time..." With this last words, the dark knight vanished like the mist carried away by the winds.

Cairn rose back to his feet, clearly feeling better from his wound after being healed by Jonad. He soon took his sword and sheathed it and placed it on his back. The darkness present within the blade seemed to have faded as well, leaving a slight remnant of the dark element. "We should all go to Celeste, but first we need to be granted permission by the king, for we need an airship to reach that hallowed ground." Noticing the dragon warrior as well, Cairn greeted him respectfully "Oh and why something tells me this dragon like being is either Hera Ledro or Jake?"

Skaol sighed and sheathed his sword, turning to find that the young woman had awoken. Without a word, he ran back into the woods where he had tied his horse. He had heard one of them identify the older swordsman as Cairn, the object of his missive. However, with the appearance of the dark knight, Skaol felt there were indeed larger matters at hand. As he mounted, he decided to return to his order to think things through. Of one thing he was sure, however. The threat of Armageddon far outweighed furthering the territorial conquests of Aldabra.

-------------------------------

"I'm... here!" Wylliam shouted between shallow breaths from atop the gate. He then realized everyone was standing rather solemnly. Spotting Jake, he leapt beside him. "Er, am I late? Did I miss it?" he asked him, looking from side to side.
