The Sphere Grid

i havnt completed it, because that takes up to 1000 hours or so.

I used the standard beginner version, the other oen was to confusing.

At the beginning of my FFX experience i went wrong ways people and they learned things they shouldnt so that went wrong.

I completed it once, with Auron but no one else and it did take quite a while. I used the beginner grid to complete it because it was my first save, but I still haven't completed it in the expert mod yet and it is prooving rather difficult though it technically shouldn't be XP

yeah it was but what is the other kind of sphere grid you can use and how do I use it I'm confused now

When you start at the beginning you can start with the 2 sphere grids.

1: Beginner SPhere Grid
2: Pro Sphere Grid.

Beginner Sphere grid is really simple.

Pro Sphere grid is for advances users.

This is the first I have heard of any different Version of FFX. I know about the Sphere Grid and I did complete on my first time through the game but only because I cheated.

My second time through the game I didn't complete it.I am now on my third time through the game and I am actually playing with the Official Brady Games Strategy guide so that I do not miss anything and I am also not using any cheats what so ever.

I'm currently beginning my way down the Mihen Highroad.

When your talking about versions and which sphere Grid we used are you reffering to the Japanese vs American version? If you are the American version does not have a beginner or expert Sphere Grid there is one Sphere Grid period.

well the thing was... was that I had the american version and that version doesn't have the two different sphere grids it only has one and the way for me to face the dark aeons and use the other shpere grid was to get the game that wasn't the american version

Why SE does this is beyond me. Why make two differenct versions of the same game and release them in different regions? Can they not predict the riots that will be expressed by the fans? Can they not see the jealousy?

It was t he same with Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. Final Mix had the extra scenes, different bosses, extra dialogue. If there is ever a Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix made, I might actually become japanese :P

lol thats what I thinking i mean in order to see the dark aeons i had to get a japenese version because I live in the u.s.... and I didn't know there was another version of KH this sucks I hate this why must they cut out the good parts in these games and then put it on the shelves in the U.S

i dunno i might have i cant remeber. But its fun when your finished with it you go to other areas so you can get other skills. I m pretty sure i finshied Tiduses and went over to Aurons to gain more strength. Though i think its wise to have rikku get some black magic skills in the game.

is there any cheat to complete the sphere grid right away because i messed up a bunch and i don't want to start over on the game.

I'm sure there is but that's no fun beating the sphere grid makes it fun, and besides theres some satisfaction when you finish the whole thing with everyone!

US version, so I think there was only one Sphere Grid in my game. I never completed it with anyone! I think I was just barely advancing characters through other characters' areas when I beat the game. I liked the system, though. After FFVII, I was one of those "blah blah, nothing will ever beat the Materia system" people. I really like the Sphere Grid, though. It was simple, but you could customize characters with as much depth as you wanted.

The best part is that it's not limiting characters to certain stats and abilities.

My Yuna has greater Magic Attack and Defense than Lulu. o_O

I've got a file of about 127hrs on the normal grid and still got nowhere near completing it (mainly due to playing about 150 games of blitz). I haven't tried the expert one but that will be my next port of call when I return to the game for a fresh start.
