THERE IS A REMAKE OF FFVII COMING IN LATE 2012

If men had periods the earth would have been destroyed a long time ago. World Wars would have been a monthly event. lol

I am at that point where them making a remake doesn't affect me. I played the original and I'm good with that. I may get it should it actually come out but not when it just comes out. I can wait it out.

Well on the topic it gives me a chance to rant so....
I hope to god they stop making frikken remakes....make an orriginal game thets fun damn it....AND NOT SHIT.
I am also aware the OP's topic was a joke but still it let me bitch so...
 
Final Fantasy VII was so successful because of the way it was. If there was a remake, the only things that could be improved are the graphics & as for the storyline, that cannot be changed - of course.
I have even heard from some of my RL friends, and some mention that there will be a remake, but they do not seem to understand that there just won't be a remake no matter what.

Why would you say there won't be one no matter what? This is Square Enix we are talking about. Besides, I thought the last thing from the SE front on this subject was that they would like to remake it, but they "don't have the resources at the moment to work on it". For all we know they are already working on one, and have managed to keep it quite thus far. It wouldn't surprise me either.

Personally, I don't know why they WOULDN'T do a remake. With how popular VII is, they would have nothing to lose in remaking it. It's not like they would remake it and absolutely no one would by it. They WILL make money if they remade it, and they would be absolutely stupid not to.

Now, I'm not one to just sit here and wish they would remake it. I personally could care less. However, if they did, I would probably get it. Besides, my personal favorite game in the series has probably the highest number of remakes anyway, and that would be IV, and I own each and every one of them that has been released here in the US (SNES, PS, GBA, DS) and I will be getting the PSP remake when it is out as well.
 
I am fairly certain that there will be no FF 7 remake. I hate to say it, but I just don't think it's ever gonna happen.
 
Isn't it a bit early for April Fool's jokes? Every year, without fail, someone posts an "FFVII REMAKE" thread. The question isn't IF it will be remade, it's WHEN. So long as they eventually get around to it, I'm not too worried about the When.
 
It's not going to be even thought about within the the next three years, I think that's pretty much a nailed on fact.
 
I imagine Versus XIII will be released before the FFVII remake. Just to give people some kind of time frame :britt:

Oh, how much would people rage if the exact opposite of this happened? :gasp:

FFVII remake goes from an afterthought to complete before Versus XIII comes out. That would be some epic trollage on S-E's part.

It would be nice if it happened someday ONLY if they kept true to the original story. I'm sure they've thought about it at some point...but...with the way they've been going about their business, there's too many soups (projects) and not enough chefs (developers) to be able to finish the projects they have going right now. I'd rather have versus in the next coming century than a remake of VII to be honest.
 
I curse the necropost of this old ass thread. It's very understood that remakes of FFVII and above probably aren't happening. I'd rather not hear much bitching about remakes unless it's of the older FFs anyways. They still have worse graphics than numbers VII and above and I wouldn't complain if they got remade.....but still I hate remakes >.>

Hate FFVII and all of it's crazy attention. It's story really isn't all that amazing anyways -_-
 
i nearlly jizzed watching that trailer because it looks real and amazing, but then at the end it is just a group of people who are wanting SE to remake it, this would probally be better then making a new FF, if they ever make a new FF.
