Tifa, Yuffie, or Aerith?

I like all the three girls, but if I had to choosse one, I would go over with Yuffie.

She is a cheerful, helpful, cute and sly girl. Not that I dislike the others 2, but Yuffie was always an helpful character on my team on FFVII, her personality is unique and amusing everywhere she goes giving herself numerous titles and doing all kinda pranks. She also provides lulz all the time, even when she wants to help(rob or when airsick) the most.

I totally Agree with ya! Yuffie totally Rocks :mark: I voted for Aerith cuz hardly anyone likes the poor dear She deserves fame, FFVII Wouldn't be if it weren't for her.

But I digress. Some people do have pretty valid reasons for disliking a certain character, but hating them just because of the LTD, now that's just darn stupid.

I'm a Cloti, and I love Aerith. :/

Before I was ever into LTD, I liked Aerith more than Tifa before I played the game. When I got around to playing it however, I ended up hating Aerith and Tifa became an instant favorite. As I said before, I adore Aerith now. I've actually found that a lot of Cloti fans like Aerith a lot, and pair her off with Zack. (Which makes sense) Not claiming any canonz to start a needless spat here, just stating what I noticed. ;O

I've heard every mindless insult in the book on why people hate Tifa. "She's a slut", "She's a liar", "She's selfish"... I just don't get it. Aerith usually gets, "She's annoying", "She's too happy", and "She's a damsel". And then for Yuffie, "She's annoying", "She's useless in battle".
I actually liked Yuffie a lot, and I used her in my party because of her amazing strength. xD Some people just hate things... for awkward reasons.

I agree with Cali. I like all three. I'm not sure why other people need to make up excuses to hate one of these three ladies. ^^;

Ume: Where has Destiny Failed ever expressed a dislike of Aerith? It has only concerned itself with absurdities, hypocricies, and various other sorts of actions as performed by various shippers. To my knowledge, it has never spoken ill of Aerith.

Speaking of, if badmouthing of other forums is an offense worthy of infraction, then what of Ume's sig which declares in french that Destiny Failed is shit? Should it not also be removed?

Back to the topic at hand: I certainly don't dislike Aerith, and have never met a Cloti who does. I have met numerous people who dislike the messianic figure some of her fans have turned her into, as they feel this does disservice to her actual character, but none who hate her.
Meanwhile, I have met a number of Clerith shippers who hate Tifa for getting in the way, being a slut, etc. etc. etc. Many of these people spent time on or cited from the Cloud X Aerith forums and related cites. That is as much as I can say on this subject, as no official census exists.

Also, Yuffie's 16 in FF7, not 14. She's perfectly legal, and so her dressing as she does does not make Nomura a sicko. Other things do.

Jenova isn't a human being in the first place, and has become braindead, so her being as intact as she is kind of amazing.

Hate crops up without rhyme or reason. People will invent reasons to hate. Simply correct the mistakes and move on.

Even with her endowments, it's hardly skimpy. It's a simple white T-shirt. Anyone calling that skimpy strikes me as rather much a prude.

But yes, calling Tifa's attire skimpy, but not commenting on, say, Yuffie, or Rikku, or Lulu, or Yuna, or Garnet, or Lani, or Ashe, or Penelo, or Fran, or female Selkies, etc. etc. etc. strikes me as being rather inconsistent and mean.

Ahem, anyway, back on topic; I think people just like to target Tifa because of how well-endowed she is. It's funny how people are so quick to attack her attire, when she wasn't the only one dressed in somewhat skimpy clothing. It's just the Tifa haters out there I tell ye! *shakes fist at 'em* I'd say Rikku's outfits and Yuna's X-2 gunner outfit is A LOT more skimpier than Tifa's. Not to mention, her outfit has toned down a lot (meaning her new one in AC) and suits her just fine. It makes the haters scream "LET'S ATTACK TIFA CUZ SHE HAS BIG BEWBS!"

It probably was a "don't let strangers into the bar" type thing, though from what I recall when they leave her she starts doing motions where it looks like she's mixing drinks (she was probably cleaning ).

But yeah, let's try and get the thread back on topic guys. Like I said in my previous post, I just think it's the Tifa haters, because her outfit really isn't as skimpy as people like to claim. Her tits aren't hanging out like Lulu's in X and Yuna's in her gunner outfit either, so yeah. The only thing that shows is her tummy and legs. Oh wow...I personally love Tifa's attire. I also LOVED her cowgirl outfit in Crisis Core! <3
