Training Grounds

That night FFGuy dreampt of his dream summon, it was a great dragon with 80ft long wings and incredibly strong leg and arm muscles. It had four horns on it's head which all faced forward to it's head. It was light brown in colour and was a whopping 60ft tall. It's tail was nearly as long as it's body with 7 spikes at the end which were shaped and angled so it could be swung with the effectiveness of a giant mace. It's body was 20ft off the ground and was rather large around the stomach, it had small rocky-like scales along it's back and tail and had a helm like formaion on it's head. It's scales were black in colour and had a faint glow.

FFGuy awoke and felt determined to gain information about this dragon, he would find it. He strapped his armour and weapons on and crawled out of his tent and stood up to a dark night, he hadn't slept much at all.

LW awoke from and uneasy slumber. He could sense a feeling of want, and a sense of something wanting to be wanted. It was Ragnarok. LW packed up his sleeping bag and set off. The sun was in full height and a mist was clearing. He saw the start off the mountains now. 2 days journeying through the valleys and another day to the temple of fire. Lone Wolf knew why it was called the mountain of fire now. Green flames danced among abondened ruins at the summit. This was a phenomena known as "St Elmos Fire"

LW set out passing through the valley. He knew there wouldn't be much fiends due to the cold atmosphere. The jagged cliffs threatened to break at a slight touch above, he would have to be quick. It was always dark down there. t was simply a shadow of the mountain. But at least it was dry. LW moved with great haste towards the opening, however, a few hours from the opening, LW encountered a fiend, a lesser drake. It ambushed him, but LW just managed to catch his guard

The lizard pounced at him, but LW had drew his sword in time to combat it. He imbued the sword with element of fire. It must have been used to the cold, hence being a blizzrd type fiend if at all it had an element of power. With a few strokes the fiend was weak. But still it had srength. It had managed to bite and slash LW very much, but a few cures had seen to that. Then, LW looked above and saw a prone cliff just ready to fall.

LW jumped over the beast and ran and ran, he swivelled on the spot and flung a thunder ball at the cliff. It hit and on impact, it plummeted towards the lesser drake and killed it and also blocked the path.

LW progresses and eventually came to the opening. He saw the fire temple not as far as he had thought. It was only a few hours journey and LW would reach it by sundown. It was nearly a week since he had began the journey. By sundown, LW arrived at the doors of the temple.

As LW walked in, pillers of fire were laid in a row on each side of the temple. Each blazed a different colour ranging from silver to blue. The view fascinated LW. The ceiling was carve with protective ruins to stop any enemies from approaching.

LW walked forwards up a huge set of stairs to an alter. Runes were inscripted on it. It said

"Only the chosen can lift the orb and weild the black dragon by the name of Ragnarok"

Behind the alter was a pedestal and on it was a gleaming golden orb. LW placed his hand on it and instantly felt a bond with something that resided in it...He knew from then forth that him and ragnarok were meant to travel together.

LW easily lifted the orb and gleamed with pride and affection for his new dragon friend. He wanted to meet him instantly.

When daybreak had struck FFGuy reawoke, feeling slightly more revitalised than he was earlier he left his tent. Taking one last look at the training grounds he began to walk along a road, not knowing where it would lead, just knowing that hopefully he would find a summons, his first summon.

After an hour of non stop walking he met a traveller, after exchanging greetings he managed to learn of an uninhabited ruin in the east. Thinking that he may learn something here he set off with the traveller's directions. Along the road however he met some trouble, a large bear turned up and prepared to charge him. Though not a particularly powerful opponent he still needed to be wary, he drew his sword and held it on his right shoulder.

The bear, on all fours began to charge at FFGuy with it's teeth bared and claws at the ready. When it was only feet away from FFGuy he delivered a powerful diagonal slash to the bear's body. Remaining still the two halves of the bear flew behind him, covered in blood he re-sheathed his sword and continued walking.

After a day camping in the mountains he reached the ruins, they were rather impressive and wondered how nobody had ever reached them, unless there was a guardian about. Perhaps the summon in his dream was the guardian? Cauciously approaching the ruins he entered the mouth of it and walked inside, it did not take long till he discovered why nobody had explored it.

The walls were decorated with Spearwalls, ceiling crushers and pitfalls. Never-fading blood was splattered at odd areas of the walls and ceilings and bones littered the ground. After a deep breath he began entering the ruins.

LW walked outside of the fire temple. The sky gleamed orange in twilight. The orange light joined with th fading blue colour of the sky. Stars barely shone through. He looked at his golden orb. It brightly shone in his hand. It knew its true master was near.

LW held the orb out and felt his life soul call out to it. A form bagan to appear in front of him. Darkening with each second. midnight black scales glimmered in the twilight. Leathery wings spread 40 foot wide. The height of the dragon was roughly 3 meters. It turned to face him. Its blue eyes looked at him softly.

"I am ragnarok. I know you have been searching for a companion who is a dragon and i have been searching for a master who will actually look out for me"

LW "They call me lone wolf..i'll tell you my real name...in time. i haven't told anyone what my real name is."

LW smiled at the magnificent beast looming over him.
