Twilight

Well Stephanie posted some sad news on her website Thursday;

Apparently the first twelve chapters of Midnight Sun (Twilight from Edward's p.o.v.) were somehow leaked onto the internet. Stephanie Meyer said that because she feels violated as an author, Midnight Sun will be put on hold..indefinately. She did post a link to the leaked chapters on her website though, so if you want to see what an amazing book Midnight Sun would've been, go check it out.

I have already read those leaked chapters, and they are absolutely amazing. I thought I knew the Twilight story backwards and forwards, but reading from Edward's p.o.v. makes it into a comletely different story. I'm hoping that Meyer will eventually start writing it again, despite the fact that the odds for that don't look very good right now.
 
We had mini sample books at work for Midnight Sun. It had a red sunset on it, its at home somewhere. Its sad to hear bout that.
 
I can't believe I saw this thread just now.

Big Twilight series fan. I finished reading all the books a few weeks ago and it was fantastic. :gasp: Most of my friends who have read it were not satisfied with Breaking Dawn, but I loved it!

This leakage of chapters you say, Lightning.. Is it still around?

I, like you friends, wasn't very satisfied with it, which is why I was looking forward to Midnight Sun. I was hoping it would make up for Breaking Dawn, and now that I've read it, I'm positive that it would have. It's a real shame what happened -_-
 
Wow, I had no idea Stephenie was writing a story from Edward's perspective. I'll definitely have a read of that. >_> Tis a shame about the leakage but if it's been put on hold then I may aswell have a looksee online..


I'm still only on New Moon, I kind of gave up after
Edward broke up with Bella
:wacky: But I'll try and get round to finishing it when I have some time. My friend says she doesn't think it's as good as Twilight, but I'll still try and finish it anyway.

Well, I guess we'll have to be satisfied with the leaked chapters...
 
I love this series ^_^ I am in the middle of the third book and will be picking the 4th one up on Friday. I have to say that Bella did annoy me at first but she gets better as the story goes on.
 
There was a leak? Whoever did that should be ashamed of themselves! The odds of Meyer finishing it are unlikely now. I was really looking forward to Midnight Sun, too ...
 
I'd like to know how we managed to get samples from work. We were just giving them away as they were samplers. Ive luckily kept my copy, but it is sad if its not going to get a release as the cover is stunning and its an interesting read.

They say that 2/3 of New Moon is useless. :wacky: Keep reading, it'll get interesting.
 
I just finished Breaking Dawn and I have to say I love this series and love the way it ended ^_^ I hope Stephenie decides to finish Midnight Sun, I know you can read it on line but sadly my computer hates adobe >.<

Haha, I'm about halfway through it now, I've been too busy with school stuff recently to read. >< It has suddenly gotten very interesting though, with the werewolves and all that. It still annoys me how dense Bella can be sometimes though. >_>

I read the copy of Midnight Sun that Stephenie posted on her site, it was AMAZING! D: It's suchhh a shame that it might not be getting released now, it was so interesting to read Edward's perspective, it just made me love him even more (didn't think it possible) x_x.
 
I've read all four Twilight books and they are awesome! I began reading them way before they thought of making it into a movie. The story it's really good and once I start reading I can't stop, even though I know what's gonna happen next. My favorite character would have to be Bella of course! The struggle that she and Edward go through is very deep and I LOVE IT! I just hope that the movie is just as good
 
Woohoo, I finally finished reading New Moon (give me a break, I'm a slow reader! D=) and I thought it was amazing. Well, the ending certainly was anyway. I thought the book kind of dragged a bit for the majority, but I think that was mainly because I missed Edward about as much as Bella did. ><

I really want Bella to get made a vampire too. I don't know if she does or not obviously because I've only just started Eclipse, but I hope she does. >_> That way her and Edward can be together forever. D: And I have to agree with her that it would be really weird when she ages, and he's still 17...

Bah, I'll have to wait and see. :gasp:
 
Katsky, you're not alone, I have never read any of the books and never intend to (unless you count the first chapter of Twilight (heard on iTunes, special freebie) or the first part of the first chapter of Midnight Sun). I know the story of all four books though, through my fangirl friends and Wikipedia. I agree with Katsky mostly (only skimmed through the posts so I can't say I completely agree). I've read enough quotes and such to have convinced myself of the lack of quality in the writing and I don't see how 'cold' and 'marble' are sexy as well as how 'shiny' is appealing. Stalking, controlling and separating someone from everyone else doesn't sound like true love to me. Those are the signs of an abusive relationship according to my health teacher. You all may totally disagree with on everything thus far but you have to admit
Jacob imprinting on Reneesme is beyond wrong.
I'm not flaming; just stating if I have read them and what I think. By the way, enjoy my signature!;)

I love the series right now i am halfway through the second one and
when edawrd broke up with bella because he had to leave to keep her safe
mad me sad because they were so ment for each other i hope they get back together because i dont really like jacobxbella i am more edwardxbella GO TEAM EDWARD!!!!oh yeah i found this video on youtube it may be a bit hard to hear because people couldnt stop cheering but it has subs so you can just read along

NOT TO BE READ BY ANYONE WHO HASN'T READ NEW MOON.
I agree. If you're more of a vampire fan than a werewolf fan, then it'll seem useless. But keep at it. Trust me, it'll pay off. :D
 
I am almost to the middle of the third book i may get the last book on the weekend i loved the moie and the books so far they are really good.
