They're both thieves but Locke tries to make it seem more positive by referring to himself as a Treasure Hunter while Zidane is more cocky. Zidane doesn't bother if someone calls him a thief but Locke doesn't take too kindly to it.

Well not many votes for this last battle but still:

Zidane= 2 votes

LOCKE proves that he is the best "treasure hunter" and goes on into the quarter finals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3rd Match: Freya (FFIX) vs Cid (FFVII)

4th Match: Vincent (FFVII) vs Locke (FFVI)

And its actually surprising to see that there are no FFVIII characters in the quarter finals and most of them are from FFVI...

Well let´s get the first quarter finals match started it´s a ninja vs a friendly mog what a great battle it would be:

Shadow (FFVI) vs Mog (FFVI)

I´m going to vote for Shadow because he is a ninja with great reflexes, speed and agility and could just use smoke bombs to make Mog not know were to atack and then throw a few shurikens for the win!
 
I'll jump on the Shadow band wagon. My vote's for Shadow too.

EDIT:

After reviewing the results, (do to the fact that I love Cloud, and was in total disbelief that he had been eliminated) I counted 8 votes for Cloud, and 7 for Shadow. One of the higher ups should take a look at that and reconfirm it, but I counted 3 times and got the same number all three times. So technically, this round shouldn't even be happening.

Well then you obviously need to learn how to count Kentaro voted for Shadow not Cloud check the end of his post:dry:
 
Well i think i will keep this round opened a bit longer FFGuy as for the eight quarter finals match between Shadow and Cloud its pretty clear Shadow won 8 to 7! Omnislasher obviously made a mistake...
