[V1] What are you currently playing?

I'm currently playing Vagrant Story (again). I just had the sudden urge to pick up my play it. It really is one of the most unique games out there. It's impressive in every aspect: graphics, story, gameplay, music etc. What's up with some of the character designs though? that's always bothered me. I'm probably going to put it down soon though since my 360 is on the way and I have Mass Effect 1&2 ready. So hopefully I'll be busy with those.

I'm currently playing MGS: Peace Walker (PSP). For those of you who have played it I finished the Story (Main Ops) and am currently doing some of the extra ops although I'm kind of getting sick of doing all the vehicle missions. I think my teams are finally high enough for me to have the gear that I actually want too but I'm just about done with the game either way

FFVIII (PSP): I've been looking for a new FF game to play so I downloaded VIII off the PSN and started it tonight actually. Squall is one of my mains and favorites in Dissidia and a lot of friends recommended that I give it a shot We will see if Im actually motivated enough to finish the whole thing haha.

I had been playing Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (my new favorite game of all time) for the last few weeks so I decided to take a break from it and pick up Portable Ops again. It's kinda scary because I'm currently in like a MGS rut. All I haven't picked up a game in the last month that wasn't out of the Metal Gear series. I even bought Metal Gear AC!D despite it not being part of the main storyline. Pretty soon I'm gonna start seeing those damn games when I close my eyes. But they're awesome so I don't care.

I'm playing Shadow of the Colossus, Final Fantasy VII, and Chrono Cross, and I'm contemplating playing Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger.

MOD EDIT: Can you please elaborate a little more on this post. Maybe mention why you decided to play all these epic games? This is considered a spammy post and is not allowed in this section. Thank you and carry on.

I'm currently revisiting the world of "Rogue Galaxy" not a bad game at all. Every once in a while I'll pop in "StarOcean: Till the End of Time" but that one's kinda difficult, so I don't play it as much. haha.

Demon's Souls - Damnit, this game is stupidly hard. It severely blurs the line between "challenging" and "I'm going to set my fucking console on fire if I die one more time".
...I'm leaning towards the latter at the moment. Some stupid flame demon boss keeps killing me...again...and again...and again. I need better stats, better equipment, and a better magic spell. I got an awesome boost from the 30,000 souls I got from killing King Doran...although I also had to kill his son, which is annoying, but...eh, I'll rescue him each time in my NG+ when I get to it. I'm currently wandering around the Tower of Latria, trying to rescue Sage Freke, so I can get a better spell...I died because I wasn't looking where I was going, and...thats it. XD

Trinity Universe - God, this is fun. Its fairly simple gameplay, but I can spend hours on it. The voice acting is of good quality, its just repetetive as hell (I'll never get tired of Tsubaki saying "This shit's hot!" every time I use her EX skill, though)
...they also changed the Prinny voice actor, which bothers me immensely, but Etna keeps hers, and there is something very satisfying about seeing her and Pamela from Mana Khemia in 3D.
I'm on Chapter 4 at the moment...Pamela joined me at Level 8. Kanata and Tsubaki are both approaching level 30, Etna and Prinny are around five levels lower. I swapped her for Prinny anyway, because Pamela is awesome.

Monster Hunter Tri - Same old...I go online, I farm a monster, I scream as some moron either dies or sends me flying with their sword, hammer or switchaxe. LEARN TO AIM. They're supposed to be "skilled players" and they can't even handle their bloody weapons properly! Makes me want to attack them and not the monster we're supposed to be hunting...

Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days - Progress is a bit slow in this, since I got into other games and I forgot Etna joined me at level 1...everyone else I use is around level 40, and I'm procrastinating training her...I mean, I HAVE to use Etna. Because its Etna. The only main character I have that I don't use is Taro, because I can't stand him. I even use Yukimaru, zam.

Final Fantasy VII

:ffs: Again. Last time I started over, I said I'd finish it. I never did, now I had to start over 'cause I bought a Ps3, so I couldn't have my saves transfered, and if you can, I wouldn't have a clue how. But anyways...

So yes, Final Fantasy VII planning on finish it again this time around. Enjoying it so far even though I just got back to the Hideout and Tifa's joining the part now. :ohshit:

I'm currently at Luca: Just beat the Goers.

Congrats on that Not an easy feat.

I am also replaying X. This game was the best that i have every played, i think because it was an epic FF adventure with great graphics to match and full voice acting.

At Macalanea Lake. Gonna go beat Seymour in a few minutes.

Final Fantasy IV but not religiously because I play it in short bursts and then switch over to Final Fantasy VI. They're both amazing titles. FFIV is the last old school game to feature a crystal-central plotline (or at least a sideplot). I'm at the point where I'm about to defeat the Dark Elf at the Magnetic Cave although silly SE, metal can't be attracted through the likes of magnetism . . . now silver, yeah that can. Ah well, that's fantasy for ya.

Anyway, Cecil's a paladin, I really miss his sword though. He pwned bitches with that sword and SPOILER ALERT!
I'm so fuckingalijaodaklnfjffing mad that Palom and Porom sacrificed themselves after that fight with that evil dude Earth King guy.
GAH! I can't even remember Cagnazzo's name, see, that's how pissed I am.
Those twins were so epic and powerful, they made Galuf look like shit next to their epic casting skills. Plus they casted faster too--Black Magic/White magic, it didn't matter, they were just beastly mages and they're gone!!!!!!
I died inside after that, seriously.

I dunno, some peeps might want to pick up this title. I mean, I THINK it's awesome, but yeah, some peeps might agree with me.

I'm still recovering over the fact that they're gone. Anyway, 'cause I'm a cheat and I (read: need HALP!) like watching LPs a lot, I go and stal--I mean watch this guy's vids on Youtube.

Ignore the fact that it's a Terranigma LP, I'm just considering if that should be my next emulated game . . . in the farther future. ^_^ HCBailly's awesome though and stuff, really witty and yet very informative and cheerful, all marks of a good LP'er. 'Kay I'm done being weird and fangirly now.

Pokemon SoulSilver: Rented this game last night. Like it a lot better than I did Diamond and Ruby. Even though it is basically the same as the others, it feels like it has something different...
I'm making my way to the 2nd gym with 10 Pokemon. XD (And a crapload of Uknowns which I don't count.)

I Wanna Be The Guy: *groan*

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance: Completed about 15 missions and really want to upgrade my Thief to a Ninja.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance

I bought this game a long time ago and still haven't gotten around to beating all the VR missions. I've still not yet gotten out of my MGS groove. I mean, I've been in one for like 12 years, but I'm starting to feel obsessive. My minds gonna snap any freakin' second now and all that's going to pop out is a bunch of little, MGS facts. *shivers* I NEED to get out of my house.

I only play one rpg at a time and at this moment it's -legend of heroes 3-

It's for the psp and the only game i have not yet played that i have with me (stuck in iraq). I do not recommend this game to anybody unless you are under the age of 8 and want to get into RPGs. This game is not the greatest in every possible way you can think of. In RPG points a 5/10

I'm still Dragon Questing (7 months later :wacky: tvf, I didnt have my memory card for a chunk of that time)

I'm in the Baccarat region. Junt gone abit out of my way to treasure hunt/fight infamous mons, was JUST about to grab an Yggdrasil (I CANT BELIVE I SPELLED THAT WITHOUT SPELL CHECK) leaf, and it disappeared JUST as I got there4, fuck you only appearing in the morning, so now I have to wait a whole day and go back -__-

I like Baccarat, there's a casino there, sadly, I know it's closed when I first get there, I have to go all around the houses in order for the owner to get it to open again, I just wanna win my millions on roulette ]:

Is that one "tear of Vermillion" ? If so, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit... despite all the backtracking. grrr. lol. there's too much of that nonsense in that game. the story was really good though, and the music was awesome. especially the post boss song... i think i'm gonna go get that soundtrack... *google time* oh, and i'd give it an 8/10

As for myself, I restarted FFX. unfortunately, i don't have the ps2 memory card thangy for the ps3, so i have to start ALL OVER. And i'd like to point out this is my least favorite ff game. :( i'm Bikinal for the first time.
Just got Kimarhi back. looking for yuna and rikku.

RE5- I recently got the game and been playing the story it's been awhile but hey, sometimes it's good to re-live games you haven't played in a while.

Oblivion- New game. I've played it a little bit of it however, I haven't gotten too far into the game =/ i'm hoping to finish RE5 first.

Final Fantasy X-2- I can't say the game's my favorite however, i'm playing through this sequal since I finish X might as well.

Final Fantasy VII- Recently picked this game back up. I remember getting so frustrated at the game because I was stuck at a boss but, practice did the trick.

I hate starting too many games at once but, at the same time keeps my occupied.

God, I can never stay on one RPG or task for that matter. I must have some mild form of ADHD or just a short attention span. Whichever.

Anyway I'm on Golden Sun. Epic GBA version. I'm on a quest to . . . save people from the evil thief king dude of that town with an L and a u. Yeah I don't remember. Anyway Isaac's got the epic (at this point) Bandit Sword and Garret's got a Mace 'cause he's a guard and can fuck bitches up with that motha'lover. And yeah, shit's cool. I like this game. A lot. It's addicting. I think it has something to do with the lighthearted feel of it even though the world's in peril! Dun dun duuuuun. Yeah plus Isaac is awesome. I like using Catch and Move to nab items and move . . . things. Yeah, I want to get the Lost Age ROM now.

Final Fantasy XIII.

I'm just trying to get the "Treasure Hunter" trophy now so I've fully completed it. It's an annoyance really that I had to start the whole game again in order to achieve it since I sold some of the accessories you can only get one of, and I needed to upgrade them. :sad3: Problem being it means having to fully level the crystarium system again to beat the last marks and grind for money. I've already clocked 80+ hours of this second playthrough for this trophy alone. :rage:

Just Cause 2 - I haven't been constantly playing this. Sometimes I can't be bothered to touch this - other times I have a sudden urge to cause chaos. It's probably because I've explored nearly all of Panau now and have 100% completed around 70-75% of the locations. My overall game percentage though, is still around 40%. There's still many Faction and Agency missions to do - I'm just mostly destroying things and collecting goods.

Final Fantasy VIII
- I haven't been playing this constantly either, so my progress has been sporadic. I'm back in Balamb Garden and all hell's broken loose between Cid's side and NORG's. I'm just anticipating for the garden to take off into the air already. I don't know why I'm bothering to level up my characters though considering this is FFVIII. :hmmm:

Recently started again on Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. I was watching the movie and the new game was a big of a drag, and I think that SoT is the best PoP game money can buy, even now after what? 7 or 8 years? Warrior Within was fun, but the puzzles were a little boring, and the fighting was just a bit shitty too. Fun to do the breakdancing kills though.

Been itchin' to play FFVII again too but I left all my Playstation things at home before I moved, except for FFX. So now I am needing to go home and pick it up.

Borderlands - I've heard some good things about this game, and decided to check it out for myself. It has not disappointed me yet, and I still have quite a bit to go. The cartoon style makes it fun, but still challenging at the same time.
