TOOL - STINKFIST

It's an amazingly basey and heavy song, the instruments are all strong and very apparent. The lyrics are very controversial though, so much so that back when it was released in the 90s when the song was played on the radio it would be called it's track number instead and if it was shown on tv the hosts would have to wave under their nose as if they smelled something bad and then would make a fist. Sign language because a song's title was too disgusting... love it

I recommend this song to anyone who appreciates heavy rock and lyrics with meaning. :ryan:

It Takes Me - Sun Glitters (MMoths Remix)

I've been in this weird phase of listening to straight ambient experimental house music that doesn't fit into any particular genre for the past ... oh week or so, I'd say. This guy's an enigma to me. I know a bit more about Seekae, Robot Koch, and Lapalux than I do about him. Actually, the way I "found" him was when I played the "Lapalux" station on Pandora on my phone. Mmm that lulled me right to sleep. This remix is fire--it's just got this nice bassline and I loooove it. I dunno why--it's just off beat and I guess that's where the appeal lies for me. I kind of like music (sometimes) that's very off the beaten path and the majority won't listen to. This is a definite diamond in the rough but if repetitious sampling isn't your thing, then I doubt one could see the beauty in this. It's a very subjective piece.

Handcuffs - Brand New

Normally I pay a lot of attention to lyrics from the start. Though Brand New has just been a band to sit back to, hear, but I never really listened to all their lyrics clearly. When I heard the part in this song, 'I'd drown all these crying babies, if I knew that their mothers wouldn't cry.' I was like - ....wait. What? :lew: Such heavy lyrics. :sad3: Fighting inner demons I believe what this song is about. Absolutely adore it, although it's a bit sick.

I'd drive my car off of a bridge, if I knew that you weren't inside... ♪

Tide - Trentmoller (Modeselektor's Last Remix Ever)

... because it's dark and gritty and rough.
Plus that snapping paired with the vocals is love.

Metallica - The Unforgiven

One of the better 'softer' Metallica songs.

I'll be watching these guys play this, along with the rest of the album in it's entirety, on Saturday at Download Festival. :gonk:

Heart's a Mess - Gotye

This is such a dreamy song and I can't help but be reminded of Sting whenever this guy sings. Overall this is a very ethereal and yet sensual song, I love it. The official video's rather odd but somehow charming, I just didn't picture it fitting my own imagery of the song when I first viewed it. I particularly fancy 1:24 to 1:36, something about that drumming and the beat is just hypnotic.

The March Of The Swordmaster - Rhapsody(Of Fire)

Such a great song. It's always been a personal favorite of mine from those guys. It's one of the very first tracks I've discovered from them, so I personally love it. I know it's a bit biased, but oh well~

The songs called The Sea. I don't have any idea who it's by, but I love the sound of it. I'm pretty much positive I'm utterly bored when I start looking up trance music on YouTube.

Childish Gambino - The Longest Text Message

If any of you guys know Donald Glover from the recent series Community then you'll probably recognize his voice here.
He goes under the pseudonym of Childish Gambino when he raps and god can he spit some nasty rhymes. Loving this guy.
Anyway here's the cut:

Crashdiet - In The Raw.
Oh how I love Swedish Hair metal ;) <3

-----------------------------------------

Like a black cat whining in the alley
Like a pet locked up in a cage
I see you strip right down to your toe nail
Feel the rush flowin' rabid in my veins

Feel the customs doing you a srip search
Like a vet i'm giving you the cure
Feel the power coming from my hip lurch
Is she the same fuck that i did before

SEX SHOCK

In the raw tonight
With your face down to the floor
You're my nakedness sensation
from your waist but i want more
Then i shake you to the core
When you're caught in the raw

Get your hand cuffs ready for a good time
Beat your whip my tan is turning blue
Fascination twister of the fine line
I become you notorious taboo

Take it off and get down
My god it's like my head's burnin' up
My mind's so dirty
Get it on,on and on
Ooh, your're my sin ful side

SEX SHOCK

In the raw tonight
With your face down to the floor
You're my nakedness sensation
from your waist but i want more
Then i shake you to the core
When you're caught in the raw

---------------------------------

The lyrics are rather random, But go check the video, the song is ace<3

Had this song from the Pretty Little Liars Season 1 Soundtrack stuck in my head. Every time I listen to it I feel like crying or something, it's very stirring and emotional. Sometimes I'll listen to it and be like, "hmm ... this makes me sad and reflective" or sometimes it'll be a long the lines of, "oh wow, this makes me think of some nice times." Either way, it stirs up memories but I find that those songs are among some of the best---the ones that reconnect you the past every time you listen to them.
