Staind - So Far Away

Was watching UFC 147 yesterday...

Rony "Jason" walked out to this song. It looked like he was crying before he stepped in the cage because of the emotions and how much it meant to him. He went from being poor and an unknown to being a celebrity in brazil over the course of the TUF brazil reality show..

He won his fight. It was kind of cool. :ness:

Normally, I don't like remixes but this is insaaane. I read up on DJ Earworm's bio and apparently he takes the top songs of the year and does a mash-up of them. This latest is his best so far imo. I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT :rage:

The best music on earth...

CHEVELLE. :ryan: Particular song is called "BREACH BIRTH".

It's a beautifully gloomy song that I believe is talking about people conforming to the "mold" of others and struggling to be who they are. The line "Dare we live without molds" I think conveys the songs entire meaning perfectly. Don't try and fit into the set molds of society and just keep on your path even if people judge and hate you for it.

It's one of my favorite songs ever.

The Deep by Data Romance

Data Romance is a two-person Vancouver-based indie-electronica band, it's spearheaded by the vocalist, Amy Kirkpatrick and the sound manipulations of Ajay Bhattacharyya. I think that Amy's vocals just melts and melds into Bhattacharyya's sound engineering, he really knows how to mix and manipulate sound to his liking. Every song I've heard from them so far has left me intrigued at the depth of the song lyrics as well as the emotions in the girl's voice and the guy's music. Everything just bleeds into each other beautifully. The Deep is a smoky, sultry, and dark track that starts with stuttering electronic blips and beeps that sounds very static and shuddery and then it just explodes into bass and whoops and Kirkpatrick's breathless vocals. It's a beautifully moving track that just keeps you hypnotized and I also fell in love with the choreography of the dancers in the video. There was something so intricate and fitting about the pseudo-contemporary movements of the guys just dancing along to the beats. A 10/10, I've got my eyes on these guys because eventually they might either blow up or stay submerged underground. Until then, I'd recommend this band to anyone who's into any sort of electronica music.

One of my favourite of all time. Great song, great video-clip that proves that videoclips doesn't need effects to be good. I like the lyrics too.

'At the End of the Melting Dream' from IRIA: Zeiram the Animation.

Reminds me of my childhood when I first watched this obscure (yet awesome) anime series.

Tori Amos - Carbon

I really love this song, I really miss this Tori :< This album was like the departure from old Tori, its really makes me nostalgic. But I still love her new stuff too.
This song is always a mood brightener for me. I'm not sure why but this song is very summery, its getting me through 100+ degree weather.
