[V5] What are you currently listening to?

I think I've mentioned this song before whatevs, I tend to repeat shit I like, "ADHD" by Kendrick Lamar and "Best Days of Our Lives" by XV who's super unknown. Also totally genre-hoppin' but I've gotten into the Black Keys, "Lonely Boy" and "Gold on the Ceiling" have become staples.

Video for my current addiction:

Marracash feat Co'sang — Se La Scelta Fosse Mia

Found out about him a year ago and have become obsessed with his music. :x3: This is my favorite of them all, and because of that, the one I play the most. I like the background a lot, though sometimes it does seem to blare a little too much over the singing...the voices of all the singers mixing into the song is great too. Of course, I like Bartolo's voice the best. :inlove:

Diversity in music is truly a great experience for me. :sup:

8.3/10!

Majestic Casual's channel features some pretty tough underground mixes. This particular one has captures my fancy, I discovered because of that wonderful feature known as the 'related' section. This is just some serious feel-good music. It makes me want to shake my hips until I can't shake them anymore. Good vibes, good vibes.

Love this song, and this band. I was introduced to them a while ago, but I haven't bothered with their music much until recently.

Such a sweet song. ^_^

The Lazy Song - Bruno Mars

Every now and then, we can always use a song that exemplifies our lazy days and what we would like to do. This song is the embodiment of that, at least in my honest opinion. Anyways, love Bruno Mars, and love this song. <3

Radiator - Family Force 5

Randomly discovered this a week or so ago whilst I was looking for good AMVs on Youtube. Immediately took to it; it's rather catchy, and I find the lyrics quite appealing for some reason. Too bad it's the only good song I've found by the artist, it appears to be a one off...

at first i wasnt sure but now every time i hear this tune i gotta shake it gangnam style! this korean guy is doing it large

the video is super random too but who cares

GANGNAM STYLE!

The Undertow - Castlemaine

Superb song, recently I've been more and more impressed about the folks they are hosting on side show alley. Though this one definitely hit home.

Rate 10/10 for Soul.

Without You (Acoustic) - Breaking Benjamin

Dear Agony is one of my favourite albums - it's rare for me to find an album that I actually like all the songs on - and I generally prefer Acoustic or Symphonic versions of a song to the original version. Win/win.

Marina & the Diamonds - Hypocrates

This song and album is so so so gooood :gonk: I love the rhythm and the dancey tone of it. It's like Katy Perry... but better. Her vocals are my favorite part of her music, she's got such a unique and gorgeous sound to her voice. and I really love the "strange" ways she vocalizes, it's just too cool but in this very feminine way. But besides the really great songs, I also really like the lyrics on the album. the song "sex yeah" is particularly a song that I never thought any popular singer would ever write about. It's almost strange to hear it. :lew: anyway, just a REALLY great album that a person can dance to but also have some depth with.

I can't believe I'm only just now listening to her songs :gonk:

Place of Higher Power - Edenbridge

A while ago now I was going through a phase where I had to find as many female fronted symphonic metal bands as I possibly could - I'd just discovered Nightwish and Within Temptation - and that led me to Edenbridge...whilst I don't care for most of their songs, this is one of my favourites. It's...easy to listen to. Never been very good at describing these music thingies, because I know nothing about music terminology. I like what I like. xD

Lou reed - Perfect day

Maybe one of the greatest songs ever written. It sounds all romantic and stuff but the song is actually about heroin and his addiction to it.
''you make me forget myself, i thought i was someone else..someone good''
Such a brilliant yet very sad lyric

Nujabes - Eclipse (ft. Substantial)

Just one of those artists who dispels the popular belief that an entire genre of music is pretty much shit.

Obvious - Blink 182

Aw, this brings back memories. I remember going with my cousins to their horses during the winter years ago, and she still had one of those walkmans with a mixtape in it of Blink 182 and Placebo. Those were good times. Such a good song too. Very punky.

♪ I saw you again, and again, and again, there's some room to move on, to move on, to move on.
I saw you again, and again, and again, how do we fix this if we never have vision? ♪

Down in the Dark - Avantasia

Not quite as keen on their later albums as I am their earlier ones, but I'm particularly fond of this song. As a collaboration, Avantasia introduced me to a few artists that I'd not heard of before previously, as well. Looking forward to another album next year...
