Lady Gaga - Monster

This is probably my second favourite song on the Fame Monster album. >.<

I love the chorus and how it's not as upbeat as her other songs.

It has a nice feel to it and I like how she's referring to the guy as a Monster. >.<

Great song.

Lady GaGa - Paparazzi

It just came on shuffle and it really showcases her voice. The music is weird, but that's what I like about GaGa. She can go all strange on everyone and it works really, really well. The song itself also casts a very good glimpse on the paparazzi themselves and how far they can go with their job. Overall? Simple, but realistic song.

Rihanna | Rude Boy

The song is really growing on me, and I'm beginning to really like Rihanna. I have recently downloaded her album, Rated R and I haven't heard all of it but from what I have heard so far, is good. I like the repetitiveness of the chorus and although she isn't amazing live, her album voice is quite nice.

Westlife - Us Against The World

It's a very upbeat song about facing the world no matter what and what's best about is the fact it's an original song, rare from the Irish manband. It's another one of those songs that can get my creativity and it actually made me cry the first time I heard it. The guys' voices are beautiful and you can believe the lyrics. It gathers its momentum sometime in the middle and the music rises, with Mark literally belting out the words. Absolutely adore it.

Lady GaGa | Paper Gangsta

It's an old track from her first album, The Fame, but I like it. It's written about her previous manager and ex-boyfriend, Rob Fusari, who made her Lady GaGa. He signed her, although it was bound to an illegal contract. But, he is now suing her for $35.. and she puts how she feels straight into these lyrics and completely shows him who is boss.

'Don't want no Paper Gangsta, won't sign anyway my life to. Don't want no funny business, not interested in fakers.'

An easy 10/10.

Leona Lewis - Run

Just been in the mood for listening to her stuff lately, she's easily my favourite X Factor winner over the years. Still in awe that I'm going to see her in concert in June! This is one of my favourite songs from her, even though it's a cover. She delivers the song beautifully with her amazing voice and the piano keeps the song going throughout. Leona's definitely not going anywhere for years to come.

Damnit, by Blink 182

Such a great song. Has been stuck in my head all day while I was at work. Got home and finally blasted it from the speakers while cleaning. :ryan: Yeah, this song gets any job done. Even the pig stable my room was earlier. :wacky:

It's alright / to tell me / what you think / about me
I won't try / to argue / or hold it / against you
I know that / you're leaving / you must have / your reasons
The season / is calling / your pictures / are falling down

The steps that / I retrace / a sad look / on your face
The timing / and structure / did you hear / he fucked her?
A day late / a buck short / I'm writing / the report
I'm losing / and failing / when I move / I'm flailing now

And it's happened once again
I'll turn to a friend
Someone that understands
Sees through the master plan

But everybody's gone
And I've been here for too long
To face this on my own
Well I guess this is growing up

Well I guess this is growing up

And maybe / I'll see you / at a movie / sneak preview
You'll show up / and walk by / on the arm / of that guy
And I'll smile / and you'll wave / we'll pretend / it's okay
The charade / it won't last / when he's gone / I won't come back

And it's happened once again
You'll turn to a friend
Someone that understands
And sees through the master plan

But everybody's gone
And you've been here for too long
To face this on your own
Well I guess this is growing up

Well, I guess this is growing up
Well, I guess this is growing up
Well, I guess this is growing up
Well, I guess this is growing up
Well, I guess this is growing up

Tinie Tempah | Pass Out

I don't really like it that much, and it's not my style of music, but it's okay. I wasn't really listening to it. It just came on the TV and I was half hearing it. I don't really like Tinie to be honest. He's new, and will have to make people like him, and at the moment, I'm not fussed. Pass Out is okay.

Agnes - On and On

A very good dance song, if I say so myself. I keep saying this over and over, but Agnes really does have one of the most unique voices I've ever heard. The lyrics may tend to repeat themselves a bit, but I can see why. It's one of those songs I'd get up and dance to in a club.

Monster, by Meg & Dia

Woah. Haven't listened to this in ages. This is probably the only song I actually love by them. It's so damn great. The lyrics and haunting melody really get to me. xD Absolutely love this song!

His little whispers.
Love Me. Love Me.
That's all I ask for.
Love Me. Love Me.
He battered his tiny fists to feel something.
Wondered what it's like to touch and feel something.
Monster.
How should I feel?
Creatures lie here.
Looking through the window...
That night he caged her.
Bruised and broke her.
He struggled closer.
Then he stole her.
Violet wrists and then her ankles.
Silent Pain.
Then he slowly saw their nightmares were his dreams.
Monster.
How should I feel?
Creatures lie here.
Looking through the windows.
I will.
Hear their voices.
I'm a glass child.
I am Hannah's regrets.
Monster.
How should I feel?
Turn the sheets down.
Murder ears with pillow lace.
There's bath tubs.
Full of glow flies.
Bathe in kerosene.
Their words tattoed in his veins, yeah.

Ellie Goulding | Guns & Horses

It's quite a good song and I think she has quite a unique sound. This song is really good and I really do like it. I didn't expect her album to be so good.

Alexandra Burke | Gotta Go

The song is alright, not one of my favourite. It's okay and quite catchy. I like the chorus but apart from that it's not really 'all that'.

Paramore - Ignorance.

I just got this album. Its fantastic, they've changed quite a bit since the Riot! Album. They're more technical.
I <3 it!
And Hayley William <3

Lightning Farron, please do not double post.

Avril Lavigne - Keep Holding On

I actually cried the first time I heard this song. Avril's voice is emotional and believable. It's one of those songs you'd hear in a Disney film when the chips are down. The lyrics are so true to some situations and the music in the background adds to the momentum. I've been a big fan of this song since I heard her sing it live on her last tour.

Lady GaGa ft. Beyoncé | Telephone

This is my favourite song. I love it, everything about it. I'm listening to it really loud in my headphones and it sounds better. Her best song. I really like her and Beyoncé, they look like good friends and really tight. Brilliant. Epic.

Paramore - Decode

No, I do not like the song just because it was in Twilight. I liked Paramore before then, especially since I heard Misery Business and checked out their other stuff. This song could've easily slotted in to many films I love. I like the element of mystery and revelation in music, so it hooked me in straight away. Hayley Williams has an amazing voice and the rest of the band play some good goddamn music!

Cry Me Out - Pixie Lott

I've heard this song a few times, but it's mostly just been background noise. I finally downloaded it today, and I love it. She has a really powerful voice, which isn't shown on her earlier singles. For a 19 year old, she's got a really impressive voice, and I like the direction she's gone in with this song. I may reconsider downloading her entire album. :gasp:

Treasure - Flyleaf

I'm recently getting into Flyleaf again, after seeing Vikki listening to some songs I didn't have on MSN xDD Wooo. This song is just.. I'm not sure why I love it, but I've had it on repeat since I woke up. It's at 80 plays and just keeps going, Flyleaf is my favorite band, and this is my current favorite song by them. "Can I tell you a story as we dance while the sun starts to bleed?" It's just goooooorgeous, I can't believe I didn't find it earlier. I really need to get the rest of Memento Mori tbh... Lacey Mosley's voice is just... haunting and pretty :jess:

Joanna Newsom - Cosmia

The song has a ethereal quality to it that I like. It also tells a story about she can't control anything in her life and wishes that she could.

Lady GaGa Feat. Beyonce - Telephone

An amazing song, full of quality. Adding Beyonce in there was the big bonus. It was strange to see it being played everywhere since I'd been listening to it since before Christmas. The lyrics are meaningful, the music is awkward and the video is outrageously fantastic. Overall? Best song so far from her. It's also been #1 in the UK for two weeks now!
