The Conversation is... - Biffy Clyro

Awesome song. Little upbeat, yet it still has a really calming sound to it. The lyrics are gorgeous, and I really like how the voices flow so well with the music.

One of my favourite songs by Biffy Clyro, definitely a great one. =)

Buffy- Sacrifice

This song is so sorrowful and haunting, and a bloody great inspiration for RPs. I love this song because it inspires you for emotional scenes and it's good when you're in a bit of a mopey mood. Love this song.

Leona Lewis - Run

It's definitely in the top five of the songs that I love from Leona Lewis. She puts so much emotion into this and I really prefer it much better than the original. It's probably because it's got more piano in it and it's a woman's voice. It's so hard not to cry at this song since the lyrics themselves get my emotions going. Another definite classic in ten years' time.

Nicki Minaj: Kill The DJ

I think that the beat of the song isn't that bad and I listen to it all the time on my Ipod these days. The lyrics may need help, but her voice is kind of catchy and I started liking her songs all of a sudden :hmmm:

Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now

This song is absolutely golden. Thanks for giving it to me, Mark! I always remember this as the very last song played at my prom, which was quite some years ago now. I love the song in general and it's most certainly a classic. It's one of those happy go lucky songs that you just HAVE to singalong to when you hear it.

That don't impress me much - Shania Twain

I just got into this song when it came on shuffle, I'd forgotten how good it is. It's so catchy, and Shania has a really great voice. The chorus is golden, I'm gonna be singing it all day tomorrow now, I can feel it xD

In a Gadda da Vida - Blind Guardian

Badass rendition, and this thread needs more rock.

Mod's Edit: Can you please elaborate on your post? What is it about this song that you really like? Posts such as these can be classified as spam and may be deleted next time. Thank you. =]

Glee Cast - Bad Romance

The perfect tribute to Lady GaGa. I like how everyone get equal vocals and I'm pleasantly surprised Rachel doesn't have a part in this. I love this just as equally as the original version and then when the chorus kicks in with everyone singing, it's so golden.

Folding Stars - Biffy Clyro

Gorgeous song. It's about his mother that passed away, and it's just really one of those songs that give you goosebumps because of how good the song is written. I absolutely love how well this song flows, the instruments they picked really compliments this song to the smallest details. <3

I'm in such a Biffy Clyro mood lately, but they just have gorgeous songs.

Take a long hard look at yourself
How did you end up here

The blood drips like red inverted balloons
Tomorrow is a promise to no-one

If you want, follow me and I'll lead you inside
You don't have to run and hide

Eleanor, Eleanor
I would do anything for another minute with you because
It's not getting easier, it's not getting easier

In a bedroom with no windows or doors
All the happy people are crying

You can't hold a gaze for a second or two
It always ends in total darkness

Eleanor, Eleanor
I would do anything for another minute with you because
It's not getting easier, it's not getting easier
You will be folding stars
You can't ever understand
It's not getting easier, it's not getting easier

It ends in a place with no love only hate
And a mirror reflecting the truth
In your eyes, in your face you can't wash it away
From your cold, cold heart

I hope that you're folding stars

Kelly Clarkson - If I Can't Have You

It reminds me of Fly On The Wall by Miley Cyrus music wise, but keep listening and Kelly definitely makes it her own. The lyrics are pretty effective. I love upbeat songs like this just lately with her. All I Ever Wanted feels like it's revisiting Breakaway and I've got nothing wrong with that. It's like a more straight to the point version of Walk Away.

2113 - Coheed and Cambria

This song is one of those that could be a slow-dance type. The beat changes too much for my liking, but I'm only listening to it because it's the next song on the list, and I don't like changing songs when I like the band.

Black Sabbath - The Sign of the Southern Cross

Just got the deluxe version of "Mob Rules" in the mail today. Up until now I've resisted buying the deluxe Black Sabbath albums because I thought that the bonus material was incredibly mediocre. "Mob Rules" comes with "Live at the Hammersmith Odeon" as the bonus, and since I missed out on Rhino's limited release of that live album, I finally gave in.

Great song with a very epic feel to it and a stellar vocal performance by the late Ronnie James Dio (one of the best of his career in my opinion). I'm still not quite sold on the remastering on this, but it might just be because I'm used to listening to the old Castle remasters.

Ip Man 2 OST - Dignified

Bloobady blabba, rabba jabba jabba. Something a rather opinion, straw suna platypus.

Drop the World - Lil Wayne ft Eminem.

Shit is gangsta ya'll, nuff said G.

Save Me - Staind

I haven't listened to these guys in a long time. It's good song where he talks about how he needs someone in his life to overcome his flaws. Which I found kinda funny becuase two songs later he's singing about how he's giving up on life and doesn't care about anything else, even the person he's with. :hmmm:

Six Different Ways - The Cure

Absolutely love this song! One of my favourite Cure songs, and the whole melody in this one sounds so playfull. Lyrics are funny to, the way Robert Smith pronounces some things anyway. xD I love The Cure.

This is stranger than I thought
Six different ways inside my heart
And everyone I'll keep tonight
Six different ways go deep inside

I'll tell them anything at all
I know I'll give them more and mo-o-o-ore

I'll tell them anything at all
I know I'll give the world and more
They think I'm on my hands and head
This time they're much too slow

Six sides to every lie I say
It's that American voice again
It was never quite like this before
Not one of you is the same

This is stranger than I thought
Six different ways inside my heart
And everyone I'll keep tonight
Six different ways go deep inside

Leona Lewis With OneRepublic - Lost Then Found / Stone Hearts & Hand Grenades

They're two lovely songs, although I prefer the first one. I really do think that Leona should sing with Ryan Tedder more. Their voices blend in well together. And then the latter song's very emotional, sounds like it'd be good for a charity sometime. They're probably some of the more memorable songs from Echo.

I'm Gonna Getcha Good! - Shania Twain

I'm hooked on Shania Twain lately, I blame my mum, she's been blasting her album as she paints :ness: She has a really good voice, and this song has such a great chorus. It's so catchy.

Paramore - Emergency

A great song to kick back and relax to. Hayley Williams has quite the strong voice, her vocals are outstanding for a song like this. I never really into this kind of music a long time ago, but guess I am now. Paramore's brilliant for having songs that aren't all the same as each other.

Disco 2000 - Pulp
One of my favouritest songs ever. The opening guitar riff catches you and pulls you in, then stays constant throughout. Easily the best thing Jarvis Cocker ever wrote.

Pink Bullets - The Shins
It's nice to hear such a cliched topic, breaking up being sung about in such a unique way. The sound is quite unique too, in as much as it's unique to the Shins, it's a quite gentle mix of Alternative and Indie Rock. And the lyrics are wondefully intelligent at times as well, perhaps too intelligent, I doubt they'll ever get the recognition they deserve.
