Knocking On Heaven's Door [Live 1986] - Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks

Someone posted this on The Ledge, and I'm totally in love with it. Dylan and Petty sound great, and Stevie tears up that chorus - 1986 was pretty much the last year of those crazy vocals. I just love the song in general, so these three artists singing it together was a really great find for me xD

Last to know-Three Days Grace

:fan:

I absuoltely love them :ryan: I could listen to this song everyday non-stop xD. They're amazingggggggggggg.

Very nice vocals. I love the lyrics as well. The ending is just ace :ryan: the lead singer has a pretty voice =) it's a good song.

I could never get annoyed with their music I love their work =D.

Gold, Guns, Girls - Metric

Yeah, preeeeeetty much had this on constant loop today. I didn't realize how much I liked it until I couldn't get it out of my head the other day. It definitely grew on me over the past month or so, when I first heard it on the radio. Great beat, lyrics, all that.

Erotomania - Dream Theater

I don't think I've actually sat down and listened to this song in a while. It's better than I remember. It's got that real mellow, somewhat nostalgic (for some reason) feel.

Led Zeppelin - "Tangerine"

This is just a beautiful love song. Robert Plants voice is at his best in this bittersweet song. Jimmy Paige's slow guitar is just amazing. It really gives the song a nostalgic feeling.

It's a great song.

Bad Romance ~ Lady Gaga

I am working REALLY hard to learn this dance, dancing has to be one of lifes best treasures, and the dances Lady Gaga does are amazing and honetly I have once again become a Lady Gaga Fan-Girl XD Great song too.

Airplanes - B.o.B featuring Hayley Williams (apparently)

I heard this song on the radio, and had to go find it on youtube. I'm not fond of the rapping bits of it really, but the Hayley Williams parts... :x3:

I can't see myself loving the rap parts like the part that goes "Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars? I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now" but I'm slowly getting used to them... and it's worth listening through them for the other bits. :wacky: I won't be singing along to anything but Hayley's bit, but it's still not a bad song as far as rap-ish music goes. :x3:

Better Off Without A Wife by Tom Waits

I love the whole Nighthawks At The Diner album. It's very relaxing and uninterruptive, so it's great music to put on while you're doing your homework or something else that's taking up your full attention.

Californication - Red Hot Chili Peppers

One of those most relaxing songs I've ever heard. I always feel strangly obligated to dance when I hear it. I think it's probably my favorite song by them.

That. Hayley's part is amazing. I'm totally fussing over this song, I really really really wanna cover it. :lew: I could only do Hayley's Part, seeing I can't rap worth shit.

Her lyrics are so gorgeous. Loving all the lyrics. :D

10/10.

Muse - Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)

A very fitting song for Eclipse and Muse's first song for a film. Matt's got an amazing voice and I'm starting to really like the band since hearing this. The mood of the song really fits what happens in the film and the video's really played out. It's one of the best I've seen in a long time.

My mate told me to listen to that song because he knows I used to like Paramore. It was absolutely terrible.

Again, terrible. I really hope Muse have only written this for Twilight because they had to, because it really isn't a direction they want to consider taking.
Also, it isn't the first time their music has been used in a film.

Tender - Blur
Simply fantastic, probably my favourite song by them. I'm starting to really look forward to their new album, even though I know it'll be nothing like classic Blur.

Placebo - English Summer Rain

For some reason I really love the sound of the cymbals in the opening few seconds I love that kind of dull/deep sound the cymbals have. I guess it kind of fits with the theme of the song.

..and then when the rest of the band actually kicks the rhythm is like what sex would be like if it were encapsulated in a song.

Idiot Wind - Bob Dylan

The ultimate bitter break up song. It's unrestrained loathing made into the song. Though it's not all just about villifying his ex-wife. The final verse he acknowledges that he is being unfair.
Great song from one of the best albums ever.

Candy - Aggro Santos & Kimberly Wyatt

Not my usual type of song, but I'm totally hooked on it. The chorus is irresistible, and I don't actually mind the rapping parts. It's totally a summer smash, love it.

311 - Amber

I've always loved 311's Californian vibe, they're just amazing. The instruments they use just scream summer! This song is one of my fav songs of the 90s. It just makes me so happy when I listen to it.

Happy summer everyone!

No, he wrote it about his girlfriend and was going to release it on a future album, but decided to release it for Eclipse. I know that, but this is the first time they've released a song as THE single for a film before.

Don't Look Back In Anger - Oasis
One of the best songs from probably the greatest album ever written, at least for me. Brilliant vocals, good guitar, and it's rather calming too.
