[V5] What are you currently listening to?

Work - Jimmy Eat World

Great song. I love the carefree feel this one gives you. Like on a sunny breezy day as today :lew:

I love the lyrics, and the guitar riff is great. :D Such a great song by an amazing band!

Outside The Rain - Stevie Nicks

One of my favourite Stevie songs, it's just perfection. Her vocal is spot on, and the buildup in the song is great. I love the lyrics too.

Don't Hate Me - Porcupine Tree
Its been ages since I've listened to Porcupine Tree; I tend t go through phases with them. This is a pretty decent song, with a good saxophone bit in the middle.

Let Me Go- 3 Doors Down

Doors is just one of my favorite band. They're frickin' amazing <3.

This song is fantastic.

Beauitful voice and he uses it well :ryan:

I could jam out to them all night xD.

They're so addictive xD

10/10.

Kings Crossing - Elliott Smith

A very sad song about disillusionment and drug abuse. But a very good one none the less. It's a very melancholy song written by a very good song writer.

The Mars Volta - Cicatriz ESP

I really like the rhythm of this song, the drumming is superb and the bass works well with it. The Vocals are also great and the guitar is great in an unconventional way.

In the middle of the song it calms down to the point where it is pretty much nothing and it stays like that for a while. I really enjoyed this part when I saw them live as it seemed mostly improvised. But when I'm just listening to it like this it can get a bit boring. It's not bad if you are doing something while you are listening to it though.

When the song starts up again it sounds phenomenal though. I guess the incredibly long mid section builds the suspense in a way.

Evil Eyes - Dio

An awesome song with strange lyrics about menevolent eyeballs.

There's No Other Way - Blur
Not their best song by a long shot, but a good enough one. Its got a pretty catchy guitar line going through it, which is why I like it.

Heart - Magic Man

Just a great girl rock song. I gotta say the beat to the song is really epic.

Her voice is amazing and the lyrics are just perfect. The concept of a "magic man"...bloody brilliant, I do say.

Lady Gaga ~ Alejandro
I have come to be a Gaga fangirl, I watched her fuse interview and was really impressed with her opinions and veiws on some issues. I liked Just Dance when it first aired but I think once she got big and then people all of a sudden liked her I assumed she was arrogant, and happily return to liking her. Plus I love this songs lyrics and beat how it jumps into the chorus is really great, I love it! And I think I may be biased to her Italian-ness *Is proudly Italian*

Country House - Blur
Probably the song that everyone remembers Blur for. It was never their best, but Albarn's voice was probably at its best round that time and the lyrics are excellent in it.

A Million Miles Away - Rory Gallagher

Rory Gallagher is probably one of the greatest Irish musicians ever, both Brian May and the guy from u2 were influenced by him. It's sad that he's been forgotten as he was one of the great guitarists, he even sold over 20 million albums apparently. The song is a fantastic blues song about isolation even when around people.

Gallows - London is the Reason

One of my favourite tracks off Grey Britain. Firstly the intro to this song is sick. I also like the lead guitar in this song, it's distinct but it doesn't overpower the rest of the band. I like the lyrics too, the verses are well constructed.

Not Afraid - Eminem.

It makes me feel as if I should stand up to my step-father whenever he starts to yell at me but not to take it to far to where I start to frighten my younger brother. I really like the song.

Lady GaGa - Paparazzi

I've come to the conclusion this is one of my favourite songs from The Fame because it's not too overhyped and is one of the calmer ones. I love how her voice blends in well with the music in the chorus and the theme of the paparazzi themselves chasing super stars.

10/10

Kelly Clarkson - I Do Not Hook Up

I absolutely love this song because it's not too serious and one of those that you can just sing along to without really having to discover the meaning behind it. Kelly's vocals are on top form once again and I love how she just brings pop and rock together in her songs. It's definitely one of a kind.

10/10
