The best thing I liked about FFX was how each character had their own special attributes in battle.
Tidus could take out small enemies.
Lulu took out elementals.
Auron took out enemies with hard shells.
Wakka took out Flying enemies.
Rikku took out Machines.
Yuna took out Big Beasties.
What is Kimahri's role in battle?

Well its his role. Kimarhi was a character you could turn into anyone after you got so far into grid. He was a misc sorta character.

Meh, my friend turned him to a mage after he got him to Lulu's Grid.
He sucked, His base magic stat was too low.

I put him along Wakkas grid. He was an average character.

Could he attack high flying enemies with his lance?
If he could I guess he could be useful in Wakka's grid.

I need to replay this game.

Kimarhi looks good.
That post contributed nothing to this topic; you've been warned.

What is anyone's role in this game? Everyone can learn EVERYBODY'S abilities, except Kimahri still would have an edge on most.

Kimahri and Yuna can summon and cast blue magic respectively, which no one else can do. Kimahri can do everything Auron does, Rikku does, Tidus does, etc.

Kimahri pwns. He actually carries more of a storyline importance than anything else. If it wasn't for Auron running into him outside of Bevelle, who knows what could have happened to our heroine here in FFX.

I wrote that meaning that Kimahri can use Blue Magic, and Yuna can cast Summons, respectively. They each have unique abilties that no one else can use. Of course it is their overdrives in a way for Kimahri, but for real, there's no one else in the game who can cast Blue Magic, so we give Kimahri the "gold star" for today.

Kimahri was actually the most useful. why? Because, he could learn Auron's, Rikku's, Yuna's, or Wakka's abilities right off the back. So, therefore Kimahri wins. Hands Down.

I didn't really use him because I found him an average character. I mainly used Yuna, Auron and Tidus. So I dont really know. lol.

Blue Mages Characters like Kimahri are strong or weak depending on how many spells they learn. Which is why some people like blue magic and some dont. Also you can make him in to a decent fighter.

Kimahri was my favorite i the game. I used him more than any other character when I played. some of his blue magic was useful and I had him on Aurons grid so he got prety buffed up too.

i personally didnt use kimahri but because of where he was on the sphere grid he was amazing and could access an amazing arry of abilities. not the best but more than average i would say

I found Kimahri a great character to use in battle, he can be used in many different roles, and can learn a large range of abilities very quickly.
