:highfive:

Blech...soccer. I thought it was for american football.

I don't root for or follow a football team. Frankly, the game bores the hell out of me...as far as watching goes.

F.C.Porto - My hometown team i always root for them :)
Manchester United - i love this team, they are the bests of the bests and they also have two portugueses: Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani, two great players. I also like AC Milan, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

I am A Newcastle United Supporter. Have been since I was Old enough to know what football was and I will do until I die or Newcastle are disbanded as a team.

Middlesbrough FC born and bred. :monster:
I support them because I love going through the highs and lows with them and also I live close to the area which ties into why I love them. We have the best youth academy in the league without a doubt and we're all about the fans and the town.

However, I'm glad you used the word follow in title because the people who say they support the likes of Man Utd/Chelsea/Arsenal and Liverpool who live no where near their club and only go to the odd game, if any, shouldn't have the nerve to compare themselves to actual supporters and should stick to calling themselves glory seekers or followers and not supporters.

I support Arsenal - but don't despair Avant Garde! - I've been supporting them for about 20 years now, no gloryhunting here :)

It's a family thing for me, my Dad supports them, and he's passed it on to me and my brother and sister. Of course sometimes it's good, and sometimes...well sometimes it's hell XD

When it comes to teams in Europe I have a soft spot for AS Roma, and in international football I always like Italy and Germany. But these are just preferences, Arsenal is the team I support.

im a manchester united supporter, and i have been since i was 8 (which is roughly when i started takin interest in football). one of my best friends is a chelsea fan, so me and him do hav quie a few football related arguments (mainly after man u hav beaten chelsea)

Primarily, I support Carlisle Utd. I got that from my dad, since he's been a fan for over 30 years, so I just picked that up. I was a season ticket holder for a good 12 or so years, until I got a weekend job. I still go down as much as possible, which is mainly just the Tuesday evening games now. I've been through a hell of a lot watching them. We have the true great escape story when on-loan keeper Jimmy Glass scored with the last kick of the game on the last day of the season to keep us in the football league. Then we eventually did get relegated several years on, and we've had a few promotions on the way too.

And I'm also a supporter of Arsenal, but not as much as Carlisle. The only game I've ever been to is when they were against Carlisle a few years ago in the cup. Arsenal won 1-0, so I was a bit gutted that my main team didn't win but at least I still had someone to cheer through it.

I remember that Jimmy Glass goal, fantastic stuff. Last-minute goal to keep a team up AND scored by a goalkeeper. Can't get better than that!

I ain't as much of a football fan as I was a few years back, but I will always support Charlton. (Can't be a glory hunter :P)

Obviously, Charlton is my local team, I was born at the hospital round the corner from there, and therefore, I am a fan, and I always will be despite how shit we're doing :P

My dad did support Chelsea, but thats because he was born and lived there, but once he moved to Greenwich, he started supporting Charlton. My dads theory is to support your local team, but inside, he will still keep a little bit of support for the team.

My whole family are Celtic supporters and one of my relatives played for them at one point, so they've always been my team. I don't care much about football now as I used to though, and tbh I don't know half the people in their team these days so I couldn't really consider myself a 'supporter' anymore.

Although I still find it really hilarious when Rangers get humped though. Old habits I guess.

I'm unorthodox in terms of picking football teams, especially since I live outside Europe (California, USA). Most people tend to pick the likes of ManU or Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barca, AC Milan...I don't.

I'd say I support Arsenal, first PL team I saw, and fell in love with the way they play the game. They're by no means the best team in the EPL, but they're still pretty good. In Spain I go for Valencia. In the US I go for LA Galaxy. They suck though even with Becks.

Can't really get myself riled up for derbys though. It's not the same as Raiders vs. Chargers here in the US. You just don't get the extreme hitting in this game. xD

I'm a Manchester United fan forever. Wayne Rooney, and Christiano Ronaldo are my top players. I also go for Los Angeles Galaxy, and the Puerto Rico Islanders. I'm really into the last once cause the island of Puerto Rico didn't have a team until a couple years ago, are already demonstrating that they might be a force to be reconed with in the future.

I've been brought up as a Liverpool fan, so they are my number 1 allegience, but I also follow Leeds, with them being nearby.

I'll always support Manchester United, have done all my life. Family are massive supporters and we've met lots of their players and Alex Fergerson on several occasions lol.

I also happen to follow the happenings of both The England first team and the English Under 21 squad (who are better than the first team but SHHHHHHHHH) as i enjoy cheering the national team on...come on England

In europe my favorite team is Bayern München. Don't watch as much football on TV as i did before but i still support my local team Västerås SK. They play in swedens third division wich sucks but we are always close to advance to the second division. This year we ended up in third place with the same amount of points as the team on the second place but they had a better differens with their goals.

NFL: San Diego Chargers
NCAA Football: Notre Dame Fighting Irish and TCU Horned Frogs
