What game did you buy last?

inFamous.

Noticed it in Tesco for a bargain price of £17. The trailer for the second game convinced me to get the first one. So far, so good. I like the option of being either hero or anti-hero as well as an open environment to roam in.

Sega Collection for the PS3. Impulse hangover buy, I bet I dont even stick it int he machine for another week, and I've probably just paid 15 quid for the sake of one game... ah well, i suppose its summat to do :rage:

XD

The latest two games I bought were FFXIII and Resident Evil 5 together with my 360, I already had those on PS3 but that bloody thing's getting useless. :hmph:
Before that I think it was Tales of Symphonia 2 for Wii, i've bought a lot of games recently and I can't keep up, I should really stop. :hmmm:

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift(PS3) - A sequel to one of my favorite fighting games so I would have to be crazy not to buy it, especially for $40. I am enjoying a lot so far. Since the story of CT ended on a cliff hanger, I couldn't wait to see how this gets resolved in the end.

I am currently a 360 owner and the last game I played was FFXIII. Today, in preparation for FFXIII Versus, I ordered my 120gb ps3, bought Little big Planet (the game of the year version, or whatever) and GTA stories from Liberty City...and pre-ordered Versus...whenever it comes out. :gonk:

Naruto: The Broken Bond

For an "Anime Game" it's pretty excellent. The story is not entirely original and also cuts content featured in the anime, making the story pretty short. Other than that, it is a good game.

I wouldn't recommend to buy it, but I think it is a great game to rent.

On another note, Saints Row 2 is probably the best 20 USD I've ever spent on a game.

I bought alot of games on Vacation so I have yet to try them. Will in a few..

Blazblue Continuum Shift(X360) I was looking forward to this game. It balances all the characters has a new story and lots of more characters. Yet to try it but I will in a bit. I hear My favorite character Mu-12 is extremely hard to use.

Just Cause 2(X360) I pretty much just bought this because it is a really open game and I got a reccomendation from somebody on the site. I tried the demo long ago and loved it. Will try in a bit.

Nier(x360) Always wanted this game and I really dont care if it has shit graphics or what others say. I want to experience this for myself really. Besides I hear the soundtrack kicks total ass and tghe storyline is good. Should be fun.

Arc Rise Fantasia(Wii) Eh it has really bad voice acting but still I always wanted ARF since it came out in japan last year. The storyline should be decent and so should the gameplay. Over 20 hours so I would say 45 hours max?

Forza Motorsport 3(x360) Just for a decent racing game that I can play with others. I havent played a decent racing game in a long time and this is more than decent! This should last till Gran turismo 5.

Alan Wake(x360) Seems like a solid storyline based game. About an author and you us elight as your weapon. I found it pretty interesting though I didnt exactly want this.. ust bought it if I get bored.

Turok(x360) Really old game but I loved dino crisis and I did not know that the latest Turok was out on the xbox 360 so I just bought it I guess.

I shall try Nier first :gasp:

I went out to Gamestop recently and ended up with a few games.

UFC Undisputed 2010 (Xbox 360) - I'm a fan but only to certain fighters, most of which are veteran fighters i.e. Forrest, Rampage, Jardine, Tito etc. Also Fedor even though he's not a UFC fighter he's considered the best fighter of his time, he's a tough russian. The game is a pretty fun fighting game. There's a lot of famous fighters you can play as in the game and learn their various moves.

Mario Kart DS - What can I say? I've been a fan of mario kart since the SNES days. A good game, lots of karts to choose from with your favorite mario characters.

Half Life 2 The Orange Box (Xbox 360) - I am not a avid Half life fan, I do remember playing Half Life 2 on the Xbox some years ago but didn't really care to play it for a while afterwards because I was still big into Doom 3 at the time. So I did get the Orange Box set and am going redo Half Life 2 again. Also I've heard about Portal a lot as well so I thought it might also be worth looking at as well.

Batman Arkham Aslylum (Xbox 360) - Where do I begin? This is be far one of the greatest games I've played in my life. It made my top 5 list up by Symphony Of The Night & Castlevania IV. I'm a big Batman fan and love the Burton and Nolan movies. The story of the game is basically where Batman is trapped on Arkham Asylum with the Joker escaping and running the whole island for himself along with some of the other villians. The gameplay is a lot of fun and follows very much how Batman would think with having to sneak around Arkham. It's as dark as a Batman game should be.

Well, I bought a Spongebob DS game for my nephew because he really wanted it. I thought it would suck, but he plays it non stop so it wasn't a waste of money. XD I would personally never play it though.

I bought Tomb raider for XBOX for a friend's birthday. He also bought a game for me so I thought it would be nice to return one too, and he named this game that he wanted it. He sucks in it but oh well xD Glad it works and that he enjoys it.

I managed to grab a new copy Disgaea 3 when Gamestop was having an uber sale on select games. I played a bit of it when I get time, but I'm soooooo lost. There's just so many options, but the over-all quirky and funny game story and characters style are entertaining ^^

I just got a DS so I picked up Chrono Trigger, Broken Sword and Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

I haven't played Chrono Trigger on the DS yet but from what I've heard it's a pretty direct port and I have played the game before. Broken Sword is a mystery/puzzle game about a reporter and some random guy (he really doesn't seem to have a job) trying to solve a murder. I like it a lot so far especially the puzzles. And there are quite a few tongue-in-cheek moments that I find amusing. I just started Spirit Tracks and I'm only in the first dungeon but so far I'm enjoying it.

I went on a mini-shopping spree and bought myself a bunch of $2-4 games along with Dragon Quest IX (and with my trusty Edge Card present I got them even cheaper). But in total, I bought:

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Sky
Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter
Romancing SaGa (The biggest waste of $4 in my life)
Suikoden III and IV

Dissidia:Final Fantasy for $20 from my friend who bought it for $22.something. He used it once, turned it into a download and sold the UMD to me for $02.something less

I bought 2 games while I was off. Dragon Quest IX Sentinels of the Starry Skies(DS) and Resonance of Fate(X360)

I bought DQ IX Cause it looked really fun and believe it or not I am really enjoying it. Its one of those games that you can have fun in. Though even though there is no voice acting it does not bother me. I created a cool party Also.. Pretty much Chose to buy it because lots have told me its good :dave: I think this one was reccomended to me by someone here also :hmmm:

Resonance of Fate was a game I have always wanted since release. Just never got the chance to buy it right away. I am going to try it right now to see what it is like. Judging by stuff I saw etc etc it should be good :ryan:

I bought a few different games recently on my PC. Steam is so going to be the death of my money. D=

There was a good deal on Steam for Prince of Persia games. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Two Thrones, Warrior Within, and that newish Prince of Persia game that came out before the movie did, though not Forgotten Sands; all for 44 bucks. Seemed like a great deal to me. Loved Sands of Time when it came out on the PS2, and I always wanted to play the other games. I didn't think it would, but it plays pretty well on a keyboard.

Steam also had a deal on Borderlands for just 10 bucks, plus three of the DLC stuffs for ten bucks all together, too. 66% off everything Borderlands. Steam always has such great deals. :ryan:

Steam has really turned me into more of a PC gamer.

Last game I bought was Earthbound. My friend gave it to me for 50$ if he could borrow it when he wanted. (50 bucks is cheap for this game. Trust me.)
Beat it a few weeks ago.

The game had a pretty good ending, which made me....f...e...e...l.....g...o...o...d.

Yet, it was sad to end such a great game. Inside,...it hurts...it hurts...

The last game I bought was a game for my phone called Scene It. I was bored, away from all of my video games, books, movies, and shows, and I needed some form of entertainment. It isn't a bad game, but I would prefer more older movie references than newer ones. Either way, I do know the next game I buy will be Scott Pilgrim on Xbox as soon as I can connect it to the internet.

Although I technically didn't buy it since it was a gift I'll include it. I recieved Metal Gear Solid 4 from my brother. I've been playing MGS quite a bit and my brother has never touched it since he got his PS3 so he let me have it. I haven't started it yet though however I plan to sometime today or so.

Today I picked up Tekken 6, Scribblenauts, and Star Ocean Last Hope International from Gamestop.

I feel bad for Tekken. I've steadily watched this game drop in price over the months. Around here, it retails for 20 bucks, and Gamestop chopped an additional 50% off it. So I figure now was as good a time as any to pick it up :awesome:

And on the contrary, SO4 has remained stuck at 64.99 at retails pretty much every where I looked, but I traded in about 30 dollars worth of game (never mind mind the TiV of those games was a lot lower to the amount I spent on them in the first place), so it wasn't too bad.

And Scribblenauts I've had my eye on for a while. With another promotion going on, I got a little more savings on that game too ^_^

All in all, not a bad money day for games, but I really...really need to control my impulses. I'm gonna be broke pretty soon >_>

I still need to cough up the money for that Birth by Sleep entertainment pack in a few weeks D=
